Karin blinked, then glanced around uncertainly. His closeness was making her feel a bit self-conscious since she knew she probably looked pretty odd to be so excited about the thought of food. "Um..." she began, still glancing around. But then her face lit up as her eyes fell upon a machine. "We go over there!" she cried, then dashed excitedly towards it. She paused in front of it, leaning forward curiously. Then she cleared her throat and spoke uncertainly as she swiped her student ID card along it. "I would like... a cheeseburger and a coke please. With french fries!" A few moments later, her order popped out for her and she grabbed the tray excitedly. "Whoa, did you see that?" she asked, turning to look at him, a huge grin upon her face.

Suka followed after her curiously watching as she swiped her card through the machine and it spat food back out at her. He assumed that the food that it spat out was the same food that she had told it to thought he had never eaten human food before and did not plan on eating it now. He hoped that the machine would be stocked with the food that he would ask for...if it even ran by stock. He wasn't used to modern technology and right now he was regretting it..he walked in after she'd already turned to him and stood there next to her looking at it. "What just happened again?"

Karin grinned, then shifted the tray into a one handed hold so she could point out features of the machine as she mentioned them. "Well, first you have to take your ID card out." She held up her own as a demonstration. "Then you swipe it here and tell the machine what you want to eat!" She pretended to swipe her card again, so he'd see where to do it. "And after that, it'll give you what you asked for!" She nodded now, to confirm what she said. Then she slipped her own card into her pocket, placed the tray back in a two handed hold, and waited for him to order something.

He watched her as she explained it and when she had not moved he blinked having not expecting for her to watch him get his food. He stood there for just a few moments longer before rummaging throughhis pockets for his ID, pulling out and standing there for another few moments before swiping it. Once it swiped he said very quietly that he wanted something raw, all that came out clearly though was "uuuum...raw...***** **" he didn't see anything come and then instead of repeating himself he changed the order to be more vague. "Raw meat....." He said it quieter this tiume but more clearly and when it dropped onto the tray he picked it up quietly just standing there with it seeing the blood from it drip and lbinking as he just looked at the food quietly there beside her...this was what he was used to eating

Searching for Oni wasn't as easy as Tetsuo had thought it would be. He assumed that she would be hungry by now and decided to stop by the Dining Hall to see if she had at least been here recently. He opened the door and stood in the doorway. After taking a quick look around, he realized she wasn't there. He decided to take a rest in one of the booths by the window. He sat there looking out at the landscape with his chin resting in his open hand.

Karin watched as he pulled out his ID and hesitated before swiping it. She was prepared to jump in and give more instructions if he looked like he needed them, but he seemed to be doing ok. She blinked as she heard him order the first time, her ears twitching and perking towards him to try hearing better. But she couldn't make out the last words. She leaned forward curiously and blinked again as she heard his order more clearly. But as it came out for him, she simply glanced at it and then turned away. "We need to find a table..." she murmured, mostly to herself.
She had no right to say anything about what he'd chosen to eat. After all, she'd definitely hunted before and simply eaten something raw. She'd been too lazy to start a fire to cook it. "Ah, there's one!" she suddenly said, nodding towards and empty table. She went towards it and plopped down, setting her tray in front of herself. Then she glanced back at Suka as she waited for him to approach as well.

He continued to stare at the meat. he wondered where it could have come from...what could have died to supply it. He didn't eat all the different kinds of meat...not that he was apicky eater but if there was any form of mercy to be found when dealing with himit would be with the disposal of the bodies of his prey. Now that he had the meat supplied to him he thought about where it had come from and continued to watch the blood drenched meat leak and fill the tray when he heard her say the last thing she said and looked up. He saw where she'd went and slowly walked over to her sitting beside her instead of in front of her as would be normal. Whether it was because sitting in front of her gave him the feeling that she'd be watching him eat or that it was just instinct he did not know. Nor did he cared and for the moment he continued to stare at the food keeping silent.

Karin blinked as he sat beside her, but then smiled and turned to her own food. The scent of blood from his was almost overwhelming, but she slowly managed to block it out and instead replace it with the scent of her own cheeseburger. She picked it up and stared at it a moment before taking a bite. Then she set it down, ate a few french fries, and took a swallow of coke. She ate silently. First she didn't want to talk with her mouth full and spit food everywhere, and she also didn't really have anything to say. So she just picked up the burger and took another bite. Her tail was flicking absently behind her, her feet in the chair with her again so her knees were pulled to her chest.

Suka looked over at her noting how she sat and then sighed digging his claws into the meat and squeezing the blood out of it and onto the tray as he sniffed to find out what kind of meat it was. He recognized the scent of this meat over the blood and decided to keep silent as he ate. It was an acceptable source of food and he had no problem with eating this meat...being vague when asking for it had brought a few suspicions up for him but now theyseettled and he allowed himself to eat the meat in front of him. He would normally eat in the animal form but he did not kill the animal and felt that unecessary. He ripped another peice of the meat off and stuck it in his mouth swallowing the blood first before beginning to chew it slowly. He swallowed before finished chewing.

Karin continued eating slowly, shifting lightly in place to try and get more comfortable. She had trouble sitting in chairs, and definitely couldn't bring herself to do so in the proper way. She glanced over at him once, watching as he squeezed the blood from the meat before sniffing it. She didn't say anything though, and simply continued eating her own meal. As much as she disliked blood, she still had no right to say anything about his meal. She kept reminding herself of this as she she tried to focus instead upon her own food. She ate several more french fries and took another few swallows of coke. Her ears were pressed back against her head though, something she hand't yet realized.

Suka glanced over at her every so often and he watched her when she'd resituated herself in the chair she sat in. He had no problem with chairs though he rarely was ever caught in them...he usually would prefer standing or if given the option sittig on the ground. He saw that her ears were pressed against ther head nad had come to realize when she did that things were either saddening or uncomfortable for her. He thought for a moment before swallowing more of the meat and looked at her cautiously before breaking the silence that loomed awkwardly in the air. "What is that which you're eating called?" He asked in an extremely quiet voice, not on purpose but because it had been sosilent for the past few moments. He would not eat more until he got an answer.

Karin's ear twitched, then perked as she heard him speak suddenly. She raised her head from where it'd been bowed slightly over her food and slowly looked over at him. She kept her gaze on his face, not letting it drop down to his food. "Um," she began, tapping the burger lightly. "It's a cheeseburger." She smiled softly, then decided she should probably explain a little further. "The meat is from a cow, and I have it with cheese as well. Oh, and lettuce!" she added, poking the green leaves with a claw. "Then these are french fries, just fried potatos." She almost asked what he was eating, but stopped herself, deciding she didn't really want to know. Instead she just smiled at him again.

He nodded but did not smile for he was still unused to it. He'd not had reasons to smile up until now and it was a bit late to start learning to do it now...he thought about what she had said her food was. He didn't usually eat cow...but that was because the only wild cow that were intimidating were bulls...and only the ones close to te field of his packs death had he ever seen if not in books. He looked slightly interested in what she'd said but did not ask anything else. HE returned to his food but did not eat very much more...a few more tears of meat before he stood and walked over to te first trash can he saw pickin up the rest of the meat and dropping it in there and draining the tray of the blood via pouring it down his throat. He returned and noticed how red his hands were...he did not know what he should do about that but worried not about it for the moment. He wiped his mouth with his arm before sitting back down next to her since she was unfinished with hers before he'd left.

Karin paused for a moment in case he wanted to ask something else. She didn't want to be caught with her mouth full when she tried to reply. But as she saw he wasn't planning on speaking again, she turned back to her meal. She popped the last french frie into her mouth and picked up the last half of her burger. She watched out of the corner of her eye as he went and dumped the last of his meal, then drank all the blood. She couldn't help shuddering slightly, though she did attempt to hide it. His hands were all red, but she didn't say anything yet. Instead she ate the last few bites of her burger and drained the last bit of her coke before sliding the chair back and standing. She stretched her arms over her head as she glanced around, then slowly walked over to a counter, where she then grabbed up a bunch of napkins. She walked back to Suka next and offered them too him. "Unless you plan to lick if off?" she asked as she tilted her head, referring to the blood on his hands. She wasn't sure if he'd rather do that than wipe it off or something.

Never having used human utensils before he grabed the napkins unsure of what they were for even with her comment. When he truend them over though he saw that the red had come off on the napkin and assumed that he was to use the napkins to wipe it off going on that inormation. He did so and then after his hands were cleaned from the blood he stood up and blinked a few times. "What do we do with those?" he asked and pointed to the trays having brought his back to the table and not paid attention to what she did with hers, ot bothering to look around. This little outsing proved to be a bit awkward overall.
