Pink Oatmeal is not acceptable either. "My terms cannot change. I promised my pack safety and security with me."

That part she understood. "I can't choose what to think, you could just stop reading my mind, then you wouldn't see the oatmeal" she said flatly, before sipping the juice.

"But it is great fun inside of your head." He paused, "I have been thinking for some time that my life and money would be well spent in some type of animal rescue or rehabilitation center...but with just myself...and my many other responsibilities, I could not bring myself to open one on my own. I would need a partner who is just as dedicated to the cause as she is to breathing..."

She blinked and stared at him then nodded to her self. "Yep. I'm asleep, this whole week has been a dream. Odd, I don't usually had dreams I like..." she muttered. because... that....that was too good to be true....

Eric frowned and ran a hand through his hair, hurt. "You could just decline..."

The scowls she gave was absolutely adorable. "Age is only a number," she growled. An annoying number that left her in the care of that hag.

Oh the glare she gave him. she forgot, again, that he could read her thoughts as she railed mentally. Why does everyone have to treat me like a child! I'm practically 18, it's just a few lousy months! UGH!

Eric frowned, "I do not treat you as a child. When you come of age officially, things will change. I simply wish for you to be comfortable with our arrangement before you must think of more complicated things."

She shrugged, THEN remembered he could read her mind. with a mental scowl she thought the word WALL so hard that it was probably shaped like the blasted letters. while amusing... probably not the most effective of shields.

She pursed her lips then breathed out heavily and nodded. "I want knives. And I want to be better at using them." she no longer felt so much that she needed to defend herself in the house. she was actually, animals forbid, beginning to not think of him and antiono as threats...not that she was quite ready to admit that, even to herself, but her knives had become like a security blanket, and anyway, there was nothing wrong with defending herself.

"You shouldn't have weapons...not just coming out of incarceration. I will take you down to my personal collection and you may choose what you wish. I can arrange for an instructor to teach you in wielding them. And I have many great books on combat. I can also teach you all that I know, if you wish it."
