The first blade missed but Xander was close enough now."Blizraga!"he said casting the spell as he swung his sword nicking maleficent. With Most people this was used on the ice of the spell inched up the body freezing it in ice

(Well, we are in Halloween Town and Maleficent attacked.)
Maleficent died with that last blow, her body lifeless as it hit the ground.
"Is, is she dead?" Matt asked starting to get worried if it was a trick.
Riku somehow managed to climb on top of the building and tapped her with his foot. "Yep, she's dead. Now we can relax," Riku said patting Xander on the back.

Riku looked at Linx with a smile. "Join the club." He then looked at Xander Frost with a normal face. "When did you get hired?" he asked.
"Nice to meet you Mr.Frost," Matt said, flying to his shoulder.

"A week ago"he said"They found me in the desert fighting. They tested me with some kind of magic key sending me to a world of darkness. They said after a year in their they would come back. Well this mouse came back anyways. Mickey I believe? Anyways he found me sitting atop this massive mound of heartless. He asked me if i wanted a job and i said yeah"

Riku looked at Xander Frost with disbelief. "That's kind of dangerous. They might hire someone unsuited for a teacher," Riku said. "Sorry Mr. Frost if I affended you. At least we have a new advanced combat tacher."
"Yes. By the way Riku, what was going on in your head when you were unconcious?" Matt asked eagerly wiating to hear a story.
Riku remembered William laughing.
"Well, I don't want to talk about it to you guys right now, but I'll tell you later when I've recovered," Riku said, looking down with his eyes.

Yuffie had to fight very, very hard with herself not to sever Maleficent's head and send it back to her henchmen in a giftwrapped box.
Instead, she listened to the new instructor's explanation of his 'job interview'.
"Yeah, that sounds about right," she admitted with a sigh. "Those of us already in Hallow Bastion had already been observed in combat, so it was just a matter of how well we know the actual subjects we teach. Or try to." With a wink at no one in particular, she added, "you students are a little notorious for falling asleep on the job. Great work today, though!"

"Your keyblade's name is "The Devil"? Bad-as--ah, wicked cool," he caught a raised eyebrow from Xenmas and gave a nervous laugh. "Anyone that gets the job done this well's OK in my book! By the way...you're SURE you're good, Riku? You were out for a while, no thanks to her."
Tidus' anger flared for a moment as he created a medium-sized fireball in his hand. His eyes and mood were totally different from what they were a moment ago, and made twice as menacing by his dark elf costume. "If there's no objections, I say we literally burn the witch."
