I have a love hate relationship with walmart. I love the prices and selection.. i hate the lines crowds and generally the customer assistance. We decided to redo erics room.. i had to stand at the paint counter for close to an hour then i finally got a manager to just come do it..it took him over a half hour and 2 other people to figure out how to make the mixer work xd And personal update had my 28 week appt. which is funny cause i was 28 wks and 6 days xDD but anywho baby looks great. They were concerned about something but wouldnt say what so instead of doing a doppler the did a quicky u /s to get an idea of his position and what not i think its cause ive been having some tugging pain around where my placenta is located. But everything looks good. He's so big! and that head o.o but he was blinking and breathing it made my heart melt >.< i passed my glucose test w00t! And my bp was a nice 116 /70 so they were happy. However i have to go for physical therapy because ive been having this horrid pain in my hips /pelvis /back where at times i can barely walk. I almost couldnt stand up outta my chair and the doctor asked what was up. I had that pain with eric too but i had a crappy OB who ignored everything so i thought it was normal. So he asked a few questions and felt around and apparently i have something called pelvic seperation /pubic symphsis o.O .. not even sure what it is really but it hurts. My doctor wanted me to take some pain or sleeping pills but i refuse to take anything while pregnant. Ive only taken tylenol once when i had a horrid migrane and fever and had no choice. Soooo how is everyone else? i notice Dirge hasnt been on in a few days ..maybe its baby time!!

Well, Dirge's sig says that mucous has appeared and then it says "See ya!" So I'm just waiting for baby news from her. ^_^

The only time I hate going to Walmart and thus refuse to be anywhere near it is those big holiday sales they do. Simply because I've heard way too many horror stories about people literally beating each other up over stupid things. This past November on the "Day After Thanksgiving" sale, they showed on the news that 5 people got in a fist fight over the last giant care bear and that two different people got in a fight over the last PS2.

Of course they also highlighted it when the same kind of thing happened at Target, and Kmart and Toys R Us.

I noticed about pirate too! ^.^
How exciting smile

I love walmart, to be honest I think the bargains kind of made it worth the queues for me. Plus everyone in the UK queues for everything, we are renowned for it.
I can see why people hate it now you have explained to me.

Congrats Monkey, sounds like things are going very well!

Wow I didn't know there were so many things to decide once ya hit the third trimester.

I got this packet in the mail from my OB's office to fill out for a Birth Plan, and to set up tour(s) for the Birthig Center. And a list of birthing classes we can take, and to set up appt with the RNs to explain certain things to you. I was going through it last night while I was at my mom's house and I'm like O_O! How in the world are you supposed to make all these decisions?

Has anyone else been on bed rest before? Cuz this is driving me nuts. Everyone is treating me like some flippin' China Doll. AJ doesn't want me alone while he's at work, so unless I'm at school I have to be over at my mom's house. And if my mom's at work and AJ's at work......well, I'm supposed to be at my in-laws house but I never quite seem to make it over there.

I'm 19 weeks along and started feeling them (twins!) kick last week.

OMG the feeling of them moving is INSANE. I want to jump for joy every time (I'm sure that will pass). I think whoever is on the right is doing most of it though, that one's gonna be a soccer player. I don't know the sex of them yet, but should soon(?).

As for walmart I don't mind it, but you really have to watch out because sometimes they REALLY over charge for stuff!

The big thing is to take a DEEP breath and not let all these things stress you out. In the last trimester, you do have time to get educated and make these decisions. If you're on bedrest, you can ask for literature or look it up on the internet, so it's not so daunting and give you something to do.

I, personally, did not take birthing classes with my first, but I more viewed all those as something to do and I looked forward to them.

Why won't AJ leave you alone? Maybe you can talk to him to let him know you have a phone? I've known some people on bedrest, some of them didn't stick to it like they should have.

Welcome to the thread Alex!

I think its mostly the whole "over-protective" father thing goin' on. He's just overly worried, or at least that's what it feels like. I think he's worried that if I'm left alone and something does happen, that the people I can call for help may not be able to get to me quick enough.

I guess it hard for me because I'm used to being the one taking care of everyone else, not the other way around. And the fact that it went from doing everything to doingpractically nothing.

Time just seems to go so quickly; it seems like it was just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant and now I'm starting the last trimester; suddenly its just this huge infuse of information that I so wasn't prepared for.

Alex-Twins?! ^_^ I'm so jealous. I want twins so badly. Are you excited??

I'm sure it's a big change to go from working to not and then limited. IT won't last forever though! I totally understand about the taking care of others. I'm not on bedrest, but I know there's a lot of things I've had to limit myself on lately and trying to keep myself from overdoing it.

Lol, I have a friend that wanted twins cause she said it would be fun.

Wow, twins Alex! I can't imagine having two of them swimming around in there! My one little guy seems to take up all the room for himself!

Scince I havn't posted in this thread yet, I'll go over my basics. I'm due July 9th, and am getting anxious for the day to get here. Overall I've had an extreamely normal pregnancy and had nothing to really complain about (besides the growing into a blimp, hormonal mood swings and other symptoms of pregnancy you come to expect XD).

I recently had a baby shower and got some really great stuff, some of which I'm sure came from wal-mart, hehe. And I thought this was the proper place to share a couple of pictures. (I'm the pregnant one opening gifts, wearing blue.)

It was a really fun time! Lots of food and gifts.

I also have been painting the baby's room and wanted to show everyone. It's an ocean theme, and I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Those are a couple of angles, tell me what you think!
(Also I'm sorry if this dosn't belong here, let me know.)

Heh my little boy looked at the pictures and he thinks it's a Nemo room. I would love to do something so artistic like that, but I guess I am just lazy. I did get one of those "nursery in a bag" deals so I have stuff to hang on the wall. I still would love to draw some Star Wars stuff on my son's room.

Oh I hear you there, monkey!! I went through the summer hell with Logan and I'm going through it yet again! It's 97 degrees today and I have no qualms about sitting in Logan's kiddie pool, lol. You're 10 weeks away, I hope you are taking it easy!

Thanks lunashock and mOnKeY, Nemo is one of our favorite movies! xd My other half is also into breeding fish and whatnot so it seemed appropriate.

Star Wars would be a neat idea, but it must be hard to find the time with a little one always under foot. Unless there's some way to have him help you with it...

I painted a Noah's ark mural on my niece's nursary wall, it turned out really well, and now that she's 2 she's starting to enjoy it too.

The heat has started getting to me too! Thank god I only have 41 days to go! (I love those tickers!) I won't have to spend the hottest of the summer pregnant at least.
