Tanpopo awoke slightly. "Sa..sami.." She coughed, "I don't feel well..I'm sorry..." Popo fell back to sleep and, little by little, her coughing subsided, but her fever remained. Even a smile appeared on her face while she slept, she was calm for now and it made her happy as she slept deeply.

Iyasu's attention was distracted from her friend, Yokome, to a nervous looking maid. She smiled warmly to her and bowed back to her.
"Thank you very much. Forgive me, I recognize you, however I do not know your name."

::Gently putting her hand on Popo~chan's forehead she felt her fever was still present. Sasami stood up and quietly left the room to go to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen she gathered a small bowl of cool water and a towel. She carefully carried the items to her room. As quietly as she left she slid back into the room closing the door behind her. With no sound, as to not wake Popo~chan, Sasami kneeled back into position and placed the small towel in the bowl. Picking up the towel and twisting it she stared at the drops of water descending from the towel into the bowl. She folded the towel and placed it on Popo~chan's forehead.::

::As one hour after another passed she replaced the cloth with fresh water until finally she grew sleepy. She slipped out of her daily clothes and stepped into her nightwear. Feeling ever so comfortable she climbed into her 'bed'. Laying her head on the cloth of her futon she could hear her own heartbeat. She closed her eyes and in the darkness that surounded her she began to see light. Not sunlight no but a shimmering blue light. Sasami then felt a cool breeze and her imagination had swept her to her homeland. There she stared at all the beauty that consumed her as she drifted off to sleep::

EyrtheGoddess ~Lunar Kiasaka~ ~Post 8 Luna nodded, "if you wish miss. I have finished my chorse so far for tody." Luna spoke quietly though this time a little louder one of her eyes hidden by her hair as she gracefully sat down and looked at Yukiko in awe. "thank you." She looked exausted and kept her hands hidden though it was clear that there were once some tears in her clothing but they'd been sewn with surprising care, a maids clothing really didn't matter if a fe little tears at the hem but her's was spotless and neat. She avoided looking the woman in the eye and instead focused on the teacups. "shall I pour you some tea?" She reached gently and picked p the pot turning and pouring the tea with skill beyond that of her age. Placing the cup down she filled another pleased that she'd get to once again have some tea even if it was just this once, it reminded her of home...((OCC: Sorry that it's taken me so long to respond, but I've been busy lately xp )) Yukiko watched the maid pour the tea for her and smiled. "Very good, I see you have some natural talent....when you have a female guest, pour the tea for her the same as you did for me, but if it is a male....then make sure to show a bit of wrist!" She said with a wink and a giggle. "So, if you don't mind my asking, would you please tell me a little of yourself, like where you are from and why you are here?" Yukiko smiled pleasantly. ((Its okay)) ~Post 9 Lunar frowned and placed the tea pot on the table. "Well... I uhh..." She stammerd. "I'm from here, and I just started as a maid. My name is Lunarie but you can call me Luna or Lulu." She pushed back a few lose strands of hair and slightly smiled. It was clear that she was shy but she was trying to make a good impression on Yukiko. "What eles would you like to know?" She considered the advice given about how to proporly pour tea. though she didnt consider the fact of telling Yukiko that she was already educated in pouring tea.

::Having slept for some time and her mind in the world of dreams of the past Sasami woke with the sunlight streaming down at her and a slight breeze swaying her. Once awake she stood up, stretched and fixed her jumbled 'bed'. Sasami then changed into her daily work clothes. Walking over to Popo~chan she lifted the small towl off of Popo~chan's forehead and placed it in the bowl. Sasami picked up the bowl and left the room bound for the kitchen. There in the kitchen Sasami emptied the bowl of water and rung out the towl. She then placed the towl on the counter and proceeded to wash and dry the bowl.::

((OOC:if you not talking to me then disregard this post ^_^)) Shia looked up and said very shyly "my name is Shia" as shia looked up she saw the geisha looking at her very warmly. shia stepped back and waited for a response. Shia then turned around to see if Raina-san and Seikieda-san were still there but she could see nothing. SHia quickly turned around and heard Iyasu-san say something. heart Post:8 heart

"It is a pleasure to meet you Shia-chan. I hope to see you more." Iyasu bowed to her as she headed into the tea room, "Yokome-san, would you like to have lunch with me?" She very much would like to sit and chat with her friend.

'Why sure Iyasu-san, thank you for inviting me.' Yokome said, bowing her head. 'We haven't talked in awhile and I am looking forward to having a nice lunch.'
Yokome hadn't spoken to her friend in awhile so she was surely looking forward to chatting with her again.

After Sadayakko had cleaned Iyasu-san's shoes, she had been called away. With that call, a growing excitement had filled her. The building she had been taken to was ornate and grand and instilled a sense of wonder in her as she entered.
Sadayakko returned from her excursion in breathless wonder, coming into the okiya with sparkling eyes. "I...I am a maiko now." She giggled; completely amazed. She hadn't been sure such a day would ever come, yet it had come so quickly. Now all she needed was an older sister, and to learn the responsibilities of being a maiko

Okaa-san sat thinking for a moment before standing and sliding open the door. She walked down the hall, checking first the bedrooms, then the kitchen before finally looking into the tea room.
"Aha! Oh dear, I'm sorry to interupt you." She looked at both Iyasu and Yokome, giving them both small bows.
"Iyasu-san, I just wanted to congratulate you on your accomplishment of becoming a geisha. I realize that it may be rather soon, but I wanted to bring up the idea of you taking on a younger sister. A couple of them, really. Our okiya has many fine maiko and soon-to-be maiko, all of which will need older sisters. Yokome-san is in the market for an older sister, I believe?" Okaa-san gestured to Yokome, giving her a small smile.

Iyasu's smiled broadened into a grin as she was drifted into the tea room. Just as she was about to sit down with Yokome, Okaa-san emerged from the hall way.
"Aha! Oh dear, I'm sorry to interrupt you."
She bowed to Okaa-san and smiled. The idea of taking on a younger sister was certianly cycling in the new geisha's head. When Okaa-san brought it up, she couldn't help but chuckle softly.
"Thank you very much Okaa-san." Iyasu's lips curled into a tiny smile, "I am very aware of the trouble, Okaa-san. We have many maiko and not enough geisha to go around. Do not threat. I would like to speak with you about this younger sister situation in a more private setting. That is, if you do not mind."

Shizuka's hair was tied up in it's usual high, silver, ponytail. She bounded through her okiya happily. She had FINALLY been accepted into an okiya! And everybody there was so beautiful...she had to admit, she felt somwhat...well...inferior. She especialy felt odd being one of the few with silver hair...but oh well! She loved the arts, and she knew that she had potential!
She decided to head down to the kitchens. The evening meal had just been finished, and the counters were a mess. She bravely strapped on some gloves and started cleaning, humming softly to herself as she did so. Once she was done with the counters, she started to wrok on the dishes, and there were a lot of them. Once she was done with the dishes, she thought maybe it would have been easier to have done the counters afterwards, because now they were soaked with water. So, for the second time that day, she washed the counters. Then, she moped, and dried the floor. After it was ll done, she gave a triumphant sigh. Afterwards, she started to wander around the okiya, looking for more work.

Tanpopo slowly opened her eyes. Her fever was still present, and her body still ached, but she decided to rise nonetheless and have some tea. She walked to the kitchen and saw Sasami. Tanpopo smiled, "Hello, friend. How are you?" Tanpopo began to fix herself tea trying to forget about the illness that continued to plague her. She did not want to fall behind; she did not want to allow herself to lose her composure. It was very important to Tanpopo to finally fulfill her dream of becoming a Geisha and she knew if she allowed herself to succumb to her illness that she would never reach her goal--she would perservere ((sp?)).

"Very well, Iyasu-san. Come find me when you have a chance." Okaa-san bowed to both Iyasu and Yokome before leaving to go back to her own room.
