"That's a good thing, right?" He said jokingly. Together Alekssander and Cliff carried Roman back inside and down the stairs to Alex's favorite room, much to his chagrin. The carefully laid Roman down on the cold steel table, and Alex was left standing and scratching his head. "What now?"

Amelia remained at the table, playing with her hair, bored out of her mind.

Rei smiled and began to lead the way towards the shore. It was nice to swim care free for once. His nostrals then flared a little. "s**t... Why didn't I sense this before..." He muttered to himself. He began to look around, and saw a small beach just a little ways away, it was hidden, and barely large enough for more then a few people. "Holly, We have to get to that beach, There's a storm coming." He said, and no sooner were the words out of his mouth, did the clouds begin to roll in, and the water start to get choppy. He stayed close to her as he swam to the beach, and dragged his drenched body up the sand. He was delighted when he found a small cave. "This should keep us out of the rain..." He said as he walked in, and dragged some dry old trees with him.

He lit a fire, and huddled by it, as the rain began to pour down outside, the kind of rain that didn't seem like it would stop for another forty days and forty nights.

Rei looked at her curiously as the fire roared. He took off his shirt and pants, wearing only a pair of boxers. He placed his clothes on a dry spot near the fire, and sat beside Holly again. His fur was already dry for the most part. He smiled and he held her hand softly, and then pulled her close to help warm her. "It is kinda fishy that this storm kinda came out of nowhere... probably another experiment by the labs..." he said with a smile. "But hey... at least we have a bit of privacy."

"In all Honesty... I'm not sure... maybe the labs just have some new kids, and they want them to try out their new powers..." He said as he felt the sudden rush of embraced warmth from her face. He laughed a little on the inside, but he wasn't really bothered or concerned about how much clothing he wore, even if he felt more comfortable when he was totally naked, but being in the presence of a lady, a very beautiful and intelligent one at that, he decided to stay as decent as he felt necessary, and let the rest of his clothes dry.

He smiled as he kissed her soft lips gently, placing his hand on her cheek softly as he did so.

Lili laughed to herself. "Ooh, a couch." Climbling in after Drake, she shut the window and took a seat on the couch. She took a look around the place, it was a bit dusty, but otherwise it was fine: a perfect hideaway. It was not long after that a storm started to brew. It seemingly came out of nowhere, and it was looking pretty bad. "Well, would you look at that?" Lili noted, as she turned to Drake, unaware he was communitcating with Holly. "It's dark out and there's a pretty nasty storm out there. I guess we're stuck here, at least for the night." Slowly, a smile started to creep across her face. This was an immense stroke of good luck.

Manji leaned against the wall of the storeroom waiting for the massive dose he took to take effect. The hazyness in his mind was beginning to clear and his rage was being replaced by focus.
He noticed the flashing red the allarm he obviously triggered on his way in guards were probably swarming in his direction. As his mind returned he realized his folly He couldnt help but wonder what would happen to him if he was recaptured.
As the collosal headache that was a side'effect of the massive dose was begining to take hold manji shot out the storeroom light in an attempt to keep it under controll.
Manji opened his sixshooter two rounds his semiautomatic clip was empty So he holstered both weapons and cried out in pain as he fractured the bones in his arms and forced them through the skin in his wrists as long blades.
Manji busted through the door facing dozens of guards he raced into the throng of black suits hacking and slicing with blades of hardened razor sharp bone.

Alekssander froze for a second, deciphering what Cliff had just said. "Take...off?" He shook his head trying to clear his mind, and then realized it would make sense. He started with Roman's shoes, the least creepy item of clothing to remove. "This is so wrong on so many levels..." Alekssander stated, obviously not grasping the situation from a scientific standpoint.

Manji burst through the mass of black suits and flesh his body looking much more human now aside from the two foot blades jutting from his wrists. His expression of sheer rage was replaced by a grim determination to stay out of the hands of the scientists. He charged through the halls taking a different route to avoid any blockades set up to prevent his escape.
Cameras still watched his movements as did numerous other security measures but he moved quickly and unpredictably enough to prevent any guards from intercepting him. Manji found his way to the roof immediately buffeted by thick sheets of freezing rain A smile came across his face Hey couldnt see clearly for more than a few metres his escape was made all the more easy.
Manji hugged the bag of pills to his chest as the rain began to break it down a single pill container fell but he had atleast 20 more. Manji ran to the edge of the building retracting his blades and adjusting his body for not only the incredible leap but the painful landing just ahead of him.
He jumped off the side of the building launching himself a vast distance over the guards swarming below unable to see him beyond the fence and onto a clay tile roof pieces of tile shattered tearing up his clothes and the flesh beneath but adrenaline kept him going as he jumped to the next building.
