I'm sorry to say, Ephy I've always been more devious than Yogi.
Purity has never been a piece of Yata.
xD
Also, technically, we are all Main characters in this Guild at some point or another.
Therefore, technically every major change of event is a plot twist.
Yogi was instilling a war, and the fall of the Factions.
This is technically the main plot line thus far, considering it would eventually effect everyone.
Finding out that Noah was in fact, doing this for the factions, is a major turn of events, therefore giving us a chance to advance on another major Guild-wide plot line since this one suddenly changed.
If this was truly Yogi's master plan, to weed out the traitors in our factions, then it is a plot twist that strayed us from believing that he was this really destructive, chaotic person bent on world renewal, then it is indubitably, a plot twist.
There may be many sub-plot's going on right now, but Yogi did instill the first Guild-wise plot.
I defend him for the uncanny similarities in our characters.
...and truly, if he hadn't started it now, I would have started something similar later on.

Ah while ago, I was thinking of creating a character that used a chainsaw as a weapon, wielding it like a sword and such. How did I think of that concept? Oh yeah, I was in Home Depot playing with the chainsaws. That was fun.
