She shuddered. "There are... things... out there. Skeletons of warriors come to life. Ghosts. Those who were lost in the Woods, too." Her head dropped, hiding her eyes from view. She began slumping towards the balcony, her voice shaking slightly. "It's not right, it shouldn't be that way, but it's dangerous, and it's terrifying. I'd... I'd rather not take you."

"I'm sorry, but I believe there is someone there who is in great danger," Link attempted to explain. The girl obviously did not seem to want to go, but still, he had no idea how to get there on his own, "Maybe you could give us directions or take us part of the way there?"

Gustave pondered for a moment, and said, "Well, this Guy here, despite apearances, isn't just a weak little kid... he can hold his own in a fight..."

Moria shook her head slowly. "No. No, I don't think so. It's... not safe. Not for a bunch of Kokiri. If we had someone who could actually fight, like Sir Hyn..." she added, a note of hope entering her voice. She picked her head back up. "If you could find someone who could fight, I'd think about it. Even if you can fight, you'd need the strength of a warrior to survive out there. Bring a Hylian with you and I'll take you."

"If that all y'all need, then don't worry, we've gatcha covered," Link smirked without explaining. He did wonder who this Hyn guy was but at the moment there were more important things.

Moria raised an eyebrow. "Alright, alright. I'll guide you some of the way in. First, though..." Pushing off the wall, she turned to the door of her house, pushing it open with her foot. "You'll understand if I don't invite you in?" she asked rhetorically and with a smirk before disappearing for a moment within.
When she returned, she was carrying a round shield made of wood and a sword. It was, indeed, the Kokiri Sword, which she apparently held onto herself.

Link watched as the girl remerged from her house. Now standing up, he could see that the girl was quite tall, possibly even as tall as he normally was, 'Is she really a Kokiri?' he thought, but was suddenly distracted by what appeared to be a dagger in her hand, no a child's sword, "Do you fight?"

"Sorta," she replied. "I learned from a man who used to live in the Lost Woods, but he disappeared a few days ago. Said he was going to see something to do with weddings and Gerudos. Then the woods went dangerous. I haven't seen him since. Anyway, the sword here will do well enough for a lot of things, but I'm not so sure about the skeletons. What we lack is the strength it takes. They're... powerful." She shuddered. "We should get going before I change my mind."

'Man in the forest, I wonder if maybe that's the sage,' Link pondered but then shook it of, that made no sense. If anyone was going to be the sage, it would be a Kokiri or someone more connected. "Alrigh', lead the way."

Zelda wandered behind them lost in thought. Sir Hyn. Why did that name sound so familiar? (sorry for the short post. I am in pain.)

Moria nodded once more, sheathed her sword, and did just that - lead the way into the Lost Woods.
There was a short time spent getting across the Kokiri's clearing, but that took a matter of minutes. There was a short uphill and a few climbs up very short cliffs, but those too were surmounted quickly. It was when they got into the woods themselves that things got very quiet. There were clearing, each with four defined paths through log tunnels. The rest of the woods were impassable due to underbrush and the trees themselves. They had only four options, and really only three, since going back the way you came didn't do you a bit of good. Moria at first lead the way with confidence, but as they traveled deeper and it got darker, she slowed her step, until she was barely walking. She audibly swallowed. "This is where the going gets tough. If you really want to keep onward, I suggest you make someone with real muscle appear very soon."

"Don't worry, I told ya'll, we've got it covered," Link smirked as he stared around the wood. For some strange reason, he had always imagined the lost woods with more singing, "Are you sure we're going the right way?"

Moria sighed. "Alright. Yes, I'm POSITIVE we're going the right way. If you listen closely, you'll find you can already hear unnatural noises." It was true; a strain of haunting music had already begun to float over the trees, sending its message of warning across the plains. "See what I mean?" she added, leading them through another tunnel.
They emerged in another patch, but this one was different. It was hard to say why, but there was an intense gloom hovering over it, almost to the point of literally darkening the sky. Moria stopped instantly, her face paleing. "This... may be as far as I can take you," she said shakily.

"Thank you very much," Link spoke. Though it was true that she had not exactly brought them to the temple, at least she had set them on the path... path, something about the word seemed to be screaming in his head, but for the life of him, Link couldn't think of what it was.
