((I just came through there from Pallet Town...Ah ha..I see.))
Heading north in the mid-afternoon with her two pokemon, Jenna headed up Route 2 towards Pewter city and was dismayed to see an arm of the Viridian Forest blocking her route. Remembering her last experience in there, she decided to hurry through as quickly as possible, seeing as she didnt' have Bryn and her houndour as guides. Jenna picked up Belle and put the tiny clefairy in her backpack where she trilled with glee at not having to walk. Sandy, Jenna's pidgey, rested for some time on her shoulder as they approached the edge of the dark woods. In the distance, they could see some sort of a building or warehouse. Puzzled, Jenna moved closer.

As Jenna and her pokemon approached the odd building, she grew more and more uneasy. Something didnt' feel right...Pausing on the road just out of view of the main windows, she made the split second gut decision to avoid the warehouse and go around into the woods. Moving to the east around the building and into the deep grass, she wasn't more than a few seconds off the road when she heard the door to the warehouse bang open and the voices of men could be heard arguing. Suddenly afraid of being discovered, she ducked low in the grass.
"I hate this place. Why did we have to come all the way out here in the middle of nowhere? Just for a few kid trainers and their wimpy pokemon..." A man's voice spoke, deep and gravelly from the road. Jenna could hear the sound of their boots on the gravel path as they walked. She held her breath.
"We go where Giovanni tells us to, you know that. Besides, a lot of the young trainers are showing up with really weird and powerful pokemon lately. We have to find out where they're getting them from, and take 'em if we can!" another man's voice said, much higher in pitch and very squeaky. "You heard about the girl they saw at Mount Moon when the tunnels were blown? She wrecked that grunt with nothing but a weird lookin' Zubat and a pikachu! How come they're so powerful all of a sudden, eh?" Squeaky exclaimed and Deep Voice just sighed. Squeaky kept pestering Deep Voice until they faded into the distance. She took a breath.
That must have been Team Rocket! I have to get to Pewter City right away and tell someone what they're up to! Jenna slowly stood up out of the grass, looking fearfully towards where the two voices had gone. Not seeing anyone, she picked up her walking stick and ran towards the safety of the trees.

Nina looked at the gym which was not far from them, and she had thoughts running through her mind. I'd more than love to battle Misty, she thought. I'm sure that it would be a fun and challenging match, to say the least...
She looked down to Mihoshi, and then to Anna.

"I'm ready," Kasiya said again, and recalled each of her Pokemon. She started walking towards the doors, checking to see who was coming with her. The encouraging smiles from Nina and Sabrina were very helpful, she was happy to have at few friends in her corner. She noticed Jaeshan trailing back a bit, and waved at him.
He waved back. "You can't expect me to miss this match, can you?" he asked with a grin when he'd caught up. "I"m gonna cheer you on, Kassie!"
"Thanks, Jae," Kasiya smiled. "It really means a lot." She pushed open the gym doors and stepped inside, ready as she could be.

Nina and Sabrina entered the gym immediately following Kasiya.
Sabrina looked around a little bit. "Now here is a place I've not been to in a long time..."

"Do you have gym badges, Sabrina?" Kasiya asked, looking around. She could see Misty was in the pool, having a morning swim. She stepped further inside, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything.

"I do," Sabrina replied. "All eight of Kanto's." Sabrina opened up the left side of her jacked to reveal all of the badges, from the Boulder to the Earth. "All of the Gym Leaders of every region were rookies at one point." She chuckled a little, and continued. "However, the Pokemon that I have used to obtain them have been sent to live with my grandmother; she is widowed and used to become lonely, so..." Sabrina let Kasiya fill in the blanks.

"Of course," Kasiya chuckled to her self. She suddenly decided that she would have to ask Lt. Surge to show her all the badges he'd won. She walked a little further into the gym, and called out to Misty. "Hey, how about an official gym match?"
"I was wondering when you'd come back for that," Misty called from the water. "You're on, but don't underestimate me!" she swam to the edge of the pool and climbed out. She blew on a whistle that had been hanging on the wall,and the Pokemon all climbed out too and waited along the sides for the match to begin.
Kasiya put her belongings down on the ground, and began to take off her clothes, revealing her swim suit. Her belt was still clipped around her waist, Pokeballs at the ready. "I'm ready," she called, and stepped onto the challenger's platform.

A rather handsome referee came out of one of the side doors, wearing nothing but swimming trunks and a wide smile. He took his position, and raised two flags - a blue one for Misty, a red one for Kasiya. "This is an official Gym Match. Both trainers will use up to three Pokemon each. The challenger may swap Pokemon at any time, but the leader may not. Let the battle begin!" He brought both flags down at the same time.
"I'm not going to hold back," Misty shouted at her from across the pool. She reached over onto the pedestal beside her and picked up a Pokeball. "Misty calls Goldeen!" She released the goldfish Pokemon and it started swimming in the pool.
Kasiya's hand immediatly flew to Shocker's Pokeball, but she stopped herself. Too easy, she thought, and chose a different one. "Ariel! I choose you!" Kasiya released the Vaporeon, who stood on the edge of the platform, looking eager for battle.

Tony smiled at her with the same happy smile that was usually always on his face. "Of course I am right. Oh dear that sounded a bit conceited... Oh well. Anyways I for one would like to sleep sometime this night." Tony yawned before waving his hand in a farewell gesture and began walking towards the pokemon center. "You can stay out here and train if you want though dont let me stop you." Weed and Phoenix were following behind him for the first time that day looking sleepy.

Nina raised an eyebrow and looked to Sabrina. "Why is she using Ariel?" she asked quietly.
Sabrina replied, "Goldeen has atrocious attacking and defensive abilities. It would take any fun out of the battle if she sent out her Pikachu now. I'm sure that Kasiya would like to relish her gym battles, not be over with them as soon as possible."
"Oh," Nina replied, feeling quite stupid.
