l-Kathulu-l Im just busy taking care of my youngin. (little brother who I did pass off to be my child once) i have a young one but i gave her to my friends for the weekend

Hashire Kazemeijin Zephyrkitty Hashire Kazemeijin Studio Shaft. They are weird. Even by my standards.
Yu knew they liked to take a genre, rip it open, turn it inside out, grind it into a puddle, and spit it out. is the worst thing I have ever read and you should stop reminding me of it right now. mad Hashire Kazemeijin And yu recommended Madoka Magica to me, in which they performed the acts above to the Magical Girl genre quite literally. Complete with decapitation beforehand. This was all part of some evil convoluted plan yu had to expose me to this blatant twist of cuteness.
Not that I'm complaining, I like the show and am gonna keep watching it. The series was just like, BAM, though. Shaft is better known for background gags (like constantly-changing chalkboard text) and general messing with series, though. They're responsible for Modoka Magica, but they also made stuff like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Hidamari Sketch.
Maybe a better comparison would be like Madoka Magica is the Magical Girl version of Evangelion.Not to mention the director was responsible for Nanoha. I haven't watched it, but based on what I've heard that's a pretty good comparison.

Yea.
Everything I said Shaft does to a genre, they did in the series literally.
Episode 3 throws all the rules of Magical Girl out the window.
