I will help with a digimon guild, but not one piece. I just don't have the imagination for that one.

Shrug, I have no clue what to do with ...a one piece guild. So, I don't know what you would need with the building and maintenance piece.

I will help you out, but it's going to be a bit like Fire emblem was for me. So, you will probably have to correct me a lot.

Alright time to explain the One Piece Guild idea in full. First and foremost I'd decided to split people's options between either being a Marine or a Pirate, of course starting out at the lowest rank. Now as I'm planning to run the guild with things like levels, stats, and EXP, there will be some key differences, advantages and disadvantages, to joining either side.

Marines will get better quality starting equipment. Standard issue sort of a thing. They'll also have slightly easier quests (referred to as missions/assignments.) as well as different Ranks and the advantages which come with these.

Pirates will have lower grade starting gear, and their quests will be harder, but the rewards for these quests will also be much higher. Additionally Pirates will have more 'freedom' gaining easier access to things which would require a higher rank in the Marines.

I plan to work in Bounty Hunters as well. Thus far I'm thinking of making it a special rank/class reachable from the Pirate side, though it will have requires relating to level as well as something like having not having committed any major crimes (which would exclude you from certain quests, though once you are a Bounty Hunter you gain certain benefits.).

I haven't worked out the details of course, but that's the basics I've thought out so far. Additionally of course people will get ships, but they'll be expensive, the cheapest/smallest being a small dingy costing about 1000 or so Beri which can only hold 1 person (though people that want to travel together can strap their dingies together so as to prevent themselves from getting lost.). Now of course there will be a thread/forum for the open sea, and to travel between most places you'll have to travel through this thread. Depending on where you are going a different number of posts will be required. Each post will have an encounter roll. Possible encounters will be things like storms, rough seas, no wind, sea monsters, pirate attack, merchant vessel (Pirates will have the option to attack it, where as Marine's can trade with or be hired to protect the merchants.).

I was also planning to make various skills related to different rolls such as Doctor, Navigator, and Chef (probably something to the "professions" in the SAO guild for those that have been there.). After obtaining a certain number of skills from a profession plus sufficient mastery you gain a secondary 'job class' which allows you access to specific skills and equipment only someone which high levels in these skills could use. Like a Doctor being able to do "on the spot surgery" or something (very random example.).

I'd also concluded how Devil Fruit would work. Basically Devil Fruit would only be available from certain Events, and as an incredibly rare drop from treasure chests; however the trick is that you can't know what fruit you've got until after you've eaten it. Afterwards the power of the fruit is selected through a series of rolls/random numbers. Two specifically. The first is to decide the power type. Zoan, Logia, and Paramecia. The second will be to decide which fruit of that type. With this the Devil Fruit becomes a gamble. Is it really worth eating it for the power? Plus it could be fun seeing what random combinations develop. Imagine a Big Burly Bear of a Marine who ends up eating the Bubble Bubble Fruit. Or a super sexy female Pirate who accidentally ate the Penguin Penguin Fruit. Of course those that obtain the fruit can do with it whatever they like. They can eat it, give it to someone else, or even sell it for a hefty sum.

Again something I'm taking from the SAO guild there will be standard skills. Skills easily learned for different weapons, support skills, defense skills, and every few levels people will be able to create and get approved their own unique character skills.

Also like in both SAO and Akumu if someone dies, they are dead. Period. There is no coming back (Unless they ate the Resurrection Fruit Devil Fruit.)

There's still a lot of things to cover and kinks to work out, but this is the basics of what I have so far.
