The Delusion Theory You know, in a lot of summoning mythology, demonology etc. there's this idea (which falls in line very much with the Nightmare BL roots) that there are worlds operating on different principals which are layered 'within' or 'next to' the material world.
The places aren't infrequently considered to be chaotic in nature, with the worlds and beings appearing almost formless, in the sense that nothing is static, but very malleable. More malleable if the one shaping what's around them is particularly powerful. (Dragon Age references this idea.)
Between the tones of chaos and formlessness, which fire often represents either directly or symbolically, and that fire is considered the element of purging, cleansing or banishing... especially with relation to spirits or souls...
Would Fire getting Spirit Energy work?
Spirit energy's also very befitting of a Bloodline that so closely follows traditions akin to monks, as using ki has been considered to be the manipulation of one's spiritual energy. It's also spiritual energy that is assumed to compose the reincarnating self, and presents both the key and gateway to Nirvana (depending on the translation/sect).
I think it'd be a fun genre of elemental bending in general, both flexible and easy to keep balanced.
Also: How are you, DG? You okay? I understand what you're saying, but I think it should be a bit more literal. Although, even if it did become spirit, it would basically be no different than just plain energy, which everyone kinda has access to already. But I really like how much effort you are putting into fixing this. xD <3

Spirit Energy would be more along the lines of...
Astral Projection, entering people's dreams, turning their dreams into nightmares, communing with the dead, recharging energy by meditating in the presence of freshly dead lifeforms (their bodies have a fresh connection to the spirit realm), blah blah. Or typical RPG 'curse' effects like fear, confuse, paralyze.
Mostly non-tangible/non-physical stuff. Dark Avenger's are the only class up with any comparable 'element' in what their abilities are based on.

Anytime. :3 If I had any interest in such a character, I may have made a class that uses something along those lines as it's element.... The type of character that is all debuffs and status effects. xD

Well, I am amazed at how much this guild is a for the people guild... Wow... Just wow. Nothing against Jackie, I am sure she is great and her answers were amazing. She didn't win though... This is quite pathetic. Seriously, the rule was stupid, if he didnt hit accept someone else would have. It really makes no difference, since it was not specified that no one could accept invites throughout the duration of the election, I dont see what the big problem is with him accepting people. From what I have heard, and seen, he is the best crew member you people have here, and he won this election crap twice in a row both of which you guys have denied him leadership because of what? trying to improve the activity of the guild? Really? Thats pathetic. I am regretting my choice of joining here right now, if you are going to give power to a random member, let someone who CLEARLY wasnt un biased take control of the elections and then DQ someone he CLEARLY doesnt want at the head of the guild for IMPROVING the guild... I mean, I dont usually like to get involved, but this is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen, and I have seen some very pathetic crap in my lifetime...

True as your words may be for some people, and false for others, I only have one thing to say. Don't regret joining. Just because such things have turned you off from people in here, doesn't mean you should regret having come into this guild. In the end, what is more important than RPing and having a jolly ol' time? Nothing, that's what. In the end, it's what matters most. If you so please, ignore those you have a problem with OoC. So I had hoped that Jackie would honor the votes of the people instead of hiding behind the rule where I was DQ'd for accepting RPers to an RP guild. So under the grounds that we're all following Rules. The guild goes to Ferregar as per Neko's request if there are any complaints and whatnot. So if we're following rules, Ferregar will be captain. If not, then the ruling that DQ'd me is invalid. If Jackie receives the guild and keeps it, that just shows that we only follow rules that cater to certain people. If that's the case I don't know if I can stick around in a guild that only makes certain people follow the rules and can't honor the will of the people.

The rules were plainly visible throughout all of the Election. They were written with the deliberate intent to make sure that the events that took place in the first Election did not happen again. You did the exact same thing last Election, and there is no reason whatsoever that you can argue you were unaware of this rule, unless you want to argue that you figured continuing to invite people into the Guild, which is exactly why the first Election was scrapped and why the Formal Request that you had AGREED to was made, was not an issue which is an entirely erroneous argument because it was made very, very clear in last Election that it was! Pish made this decision with the evidence she was provided. You said before that you respect her and trust her judgement. Were you lying, or do you feel that she has betrayed you in making her own decision? Regardless, you make a valid argument... and while I am not fond of the idea at all, whatsoever, if that's how you and the members that support you want this Election to pan out, then I will honor Neko's request.

Then we must honor all the rules of the election which makes you the captain. And frankly nobody in the guild wants that. So you either honor the vote and the people, or honor ALL of the rules and quite frankly, piss everyone off even more.

Frankly, I will leave if I don't see to this s**t being rectified to the proper parameters. I'll even donate the gold to create a "secondary" guild if I have to. This s**t has gotten out of hand, and the thin veil of its "formal" nature is being pushed to its brink with this whole ordeal. People are obviously lying, playing on their own self-interests and ignoring various numerals in light of a more favorable outcomes...
