Officially two weeks until my surgery. Getting a little anxious about it, honestly. I've never had a major surgery.

colon bracket Dr. OCD Officially two weeks until my surgery. Getting a little anxious about it, honestly. I've never had a major surgery. ahhhh but it's an outpatient procedure? Yes it is. I arrive there at 6am. Surgery at 7. (It's about 3.5 hours). I stay for about an hour and a half afterwards and then I'm on my own.

I'm not entirely sure. At least three weeks of no showering, no lifting over 5lbs, not really doing anything. After that there are some physical limitations as well. Full, full recovery is between 6-12months.

Haha. I'm sure it'll be fine. I will keep y'all updated when I can. I'm not allowed to lift more than 5lbs for the first three weeks post-op... but my computer is only 4.5lbs, so it's fine! Also I made it home from college tonight (weee) and of course I immediately set up my TV, cable, Xbox 360, and got my bed nice and made so I can play Halo 4 for days. I get to see two of my little nephews tomorrow and I heard they're really excited and I'm excited too... so everyone's excited. I missed being around my family.
