it depends on if you want more power or more speed, so:
Metagross: Adamant/Jolly
Garchomp: Adamant/Jolly
Lucario: Modest/Timid

Timid Lucario w/ Choice Lens
Adamant Garchomp is what I would do..
But I've only trained Lucario out of those three..

Well, I already had an Adamant Beldum in my box, along with a Modest Riolu, and I've got Adamant Gible to spare...

I guess going with all out power is better than speed. (In the battletower, since slower pokemon outspeed you anyway just coming out of their damn ball with no skills being used prior to their arrival.) Edit: funny song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDnfxscfml4

Defence doesnt stop 1hko. crying
So...I guess I'll train Power/speed for 2 of them.
I think for Metagross I'll run with Attack/defense EV's.
Since...the most common ground type move you will face is earthquake. gonk
His speed is pretty horrible, so instead of waste points on this..I'll go defense I think.
To be honest, I rarely ran into fire types. neutral
Battle towers got a s**t load of electric, ice, and ground types. From my experiences anyway. Oh and once you make it past Palmer on battle 49, expect there to be a team with 1hko moves on every pokemon. or atleast on 1, that spams it the entire battle.

And I think Battle tower makes it hard for the team you're using.. because in Battle Tower, I get mostly Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel types.. because I use Ice types.. D:

What was your team mainly Arc? I know you had Garchomp and Lucario? Oh yea Jolteon. Hmm.... I dont know man.. I dont get how they have the system working.

I know they all didn't have compound weaknesses, aside from Jolteon and Lucario, who are both weak to earth...
