I joined in order to find like minds and explore more about the world of Communist and Socialist ideology. I'm wanting to learn more about specific philosophies in addition to the main groundwork.
Thus far, I feel I should read through several introductions here and seek to make friends based upon their knowledge and influence here in this guild.
A few things of note are that I am presently reading Che Guevara's Guerrilla Warfare. I do believe in the use of this strategy to lead to building a proper, standing army if the time makes such things necessary. However, I think all other methods should be exhausted before resorting to such things, unless otherwise forced into that sort of living condition.
I'm all ears as for learning about specific philosophies. What I am most interested in at the moment however is ideas and thoughts, along with methodology, on bringing the Communist Party and form of government to the forefront in the United States and if it is even possible within the next century or so.
I also am curious as to how a Communist U.S. would affect relations with other countries; in particular the Islamic nations we're presently engaged in war with. Would they still see us as an infidel nation, or would they seek to establish a new relationship based upon that regime change?

Hey there, just got an! invite, so I thought id make a hello post
Names, Malley! living in England, Twenty , im former Army but Im a Uni student studying Sports Biomechanics and Elite athlete Physiotherapy and Development.
Most of my information is in my profile, but I can be summed as someone who is insane about sports(Mainly Archery and Runninig) yet I have a healthy Geek to me to.
Big interests in Global Politics, and Theology(Scriptural and Historical, rather than a practical).
I came across Communism in a serious manner a few months ago, while doing some heavy reading on Economics at the time I was attempting to understand the complexities of supply and demand in relation to pricing.
Which lead me into doing some reading on Communist and Socialist views on the matter.
It quickly turned into a large browse of all the Major Marx works, and a lot of Egnel's, and a few books orderd from Amazon. Quickly realised Communist and Socialists ethical, social and economic views were very much in line with my own (often scoffed as idilic) views and decided to do some more heavy reading into it.
After a while I realised I was in complete agreeance with the fundamentals and the plan that Communism entailed so I adopted it officially, I still have a lot to learn and a lot more reading and comprehension to get under my belt before I feel confident going out and flying the banner so to speak, but im working my way there.
So yea...

Hello there and merry Christmas to everyone =)
My name is Lotti, I'm just a normal high school girl from Germany wanting to learn more about the left.
As for my political orientation, I wouldn't consider myself a communist but my family has always voted for the Social Democrates and soon I'm gonna do the same since our Left Party sucks and is basically a joke and not taken seriously by anyone. In my opinion that's really unfortunate cause they've got some good ideas, especially concerning education and fiancial aid but since they refuse to form a coalition with another party and because their goals are far too unrealistic, they aren't taken seriously.
My family is not from the GDR so no one of us ever experienced communism, a fact I'm not too sad about because I think the GDR government wasn't so much better than the nazi regime before. (I hope all this belongs here.) Even though it was commusim and socialism not everyone was treated equally which I find unexcuseable. In addition, people were imprisoned there and shot when attempted to escape.
But our current democracy isn't flawless either and I hope someday there'll be a system that is fair to everyone. A perfect world without any wars, any poor or rich, any financial crises, any terrorism and discrimination would be great.
...and since I plan to go to university in the USA, I'd also love to learn something about the political system there.
So, tell me something about Marxism, Communism and Socialism so that I can form an opinion about it =D

Type of Communist: A believer of true Communism, yet in the world we live in, there is only one real form of it. Which is "Communist Dictatorship" (North Korea, for example.) I will fight to the end, and support Communism. I know that in this day and age, how completely ruthless Capitalism is, and how people everyday are becoming more and more destroyed over it. And how it literally "tortures" some people to even survive, yet on the same hand, they will not "do" anything to change their own lives, to just complain over it again..and again! (But, I will also say this. In the world today, the Economic factor, controls everything, and the "market" itself is Capitalism, and without it people wouldn't have anything left, imagine Wall Street completely out of the picture. Wouldn't that be the day?)
I come from a family, in which they support America's government. Though I have never, I will not say the "pledge", I will fight against those who are blinded by it, and I will speak out about the true worth of Communism. I will say this :--I dislike people, who blindly claim how wonderful Capitalism is, and how Communism is pure "evil". I will not stand for it.
