Fina came off of the ramp, the officer immediately catching her attention as he spoke to her. She gave him a nod. "Very well, Lead the way." She said, and then started off in whatever direction the officer was going to go. She expected that he came here in a vehicle or on one of the animals of the planet...

The Zabrak hit the ground hard some ten feet away as Luger, who attended the tournament under than name of Drogan wiped the blood oozing from a cut on his cheek away."If this scars your gonna lose more than just this match."He said as he hit his fist together, electric pulses stroking through the air around his fists as the large man stalked toward his prone opponent.
The zabrak scrambled up and held his short vibrosword in a ready position to defend himself with, hands and body shaking some still from the shook of the fall on the hard mat. The prelims where turning out to be the easiest fight he had ever fought, it was almost embarrassing, but the fighter than managed to slip in one lucky slice. As Drogen cleared the distance between the to fighter, the zabrak went for a stab at his middle-chest, Drogan took a quick step, catching the zabraks forearm in an electrified grip and pulling the arm harshly as he took another step towards the zabrak as his elbow slamed into the horned-mans face, causing him to stumble back another few feet, his swordarm dropping down limp and the sword falling to the ground. Pulling out a vibroknife from his belt, He quickly found the human upon him again, laying a mean blow to his side, stunning him aswell as wretching pain through his body.
"Don't know when to give up, do you?"Drogan said as to grabbed the zabrak by the collar and lifted himself off his feet and flung him through the air into the mat behind him. The whole body went limp and luger let go, allowing the zabrak to fall to the floor fully. A man in a suit quickly ran over and checked the zabraks pulse. He turned to the Judge to stood watching the match, a twi'lek and put up his man."Out!" The twi'lek laughed and claped his hands."Drogen moves one to the next match, Jaris loses."
Drogan moved over to a small table to collect his shotgun and pistol, placing them back into there holsters. He lipped the blood as it ran down to his lips and then wiped the blood away as he walked back into the barracks.

The officer nodded, and then lead her to a speeder of his. After they got on, he took off for the imperial base located outside of Mos Espa. As they got their, loyalist troops were marching in formation around the base, and operations seemed to be going normal. He lead her inside the base to the very back, the Commander's room. There, he stopped, knocking on the door, and a voice came from the com, "Enter." He opened the door, and stepped inside the room. It was very surreal-Pictures of Ancient writing hung on the walls, and the room smelled of desert flowers. The room had no desk-only a mat, of which a man sat without his shirt, kneeling before an alter. Incense burned, making the room smell pleasant, and the officer was about to speak, before the man said to him calmly, "Thank you, Officer Calen-I will take it from here." The officer merely nodded to the man's back, and then turned, and exited the room. "Forgive me for not greeting you properly, Miss Xanth-But I do like to take time to meditate upon further actions...I am Commander Tanistra-Though, you may call me Tanis."

A few hours passed, before the first reports came back. Sven was eagerly awaiting the response. "Open transmission."
A blue, flickering image of an Iridonian commander appeared. Likely the captain of one of the group's ships. Sven nodded. "Yes?"
"We've finished our investigations of the Tranger system. Little activity, and no traces of a Sith, or even Imperial presence for years," the Iridonain explained, as his image flickered back and forth. "There is a possibility the Vong may have touched the planet, but there is little evidence. There is an old, derelict base here, dating from the pre-Imperial era. It's large enough to be maintained by a sizeable force. There's also a derelict, albeit well-weathered Golan II in orbit."
Sven nodded. "Probably one of the old Republic outposts. They ahd a few posts outside their space. I suppose this is one of the many that falled under the Confederacy during the Clone Wars."
The alien shrugged. "No sign of any droids here. At all."
"It'll do good enough," the commander answered. "Take command of what's there, and prepare for our arrival. We'll set up our base there for the time being."
He cut the transmission and turned to Sven. "We're about to leave for the Tranger system. You're free to do any business you need done and meet with us there."

Fina followed to the bike, then into the base and to the office, led by the officer. She entered the office behind him and looked to the mans back, then watched the officer leave as he was told to. As the man spoke, she turned to look back to him, waiting for him to finish speaking before she would start. "Tanis. Thank you for having me escorted here. As you know, I'm here to investigate things concerning the message that the Jedi sent, but I'm also concerned about things around the base..." She said, standing with one hand clasped in the other behind her back.

Tanis didn't face her, continuing to sit in his meditation stance, speaking to her calmly, "You may have my assurance that the base is fine. I have done this for a number of years, Miss Xanth...longer than your acting commander." It was true-In reality, Tanis was 53 years old, and had played the role of commander for a number of years. His hair was streaking with gray in certain area's, but yet his mere stature in meditation showed no signs of physical, or mental problems-It was perfect. He was a well-disciplined man. "I have never bothered to rise to a higher position because I, myself, require no other position save for one of commanding the troops, and leading them into battle-I am one of the first of my kind in this war. I am one who follows his duty to the letter in serving the Imperial's without question-It is because of that mentality that I was given command of my own fleet-The Largest in this, and other sectors-second only to your commander's."
He sighed, standing up slowly, and turning around to face her finally. His hair was black-but was starting to become Gray-His face was donned by a few wrinkles here and there, but his body looked mostly un-touched by age. "So you need not concern yourself of my operation-Your commander stays out of my business, runs things his own way, and I stay out of his, and run things the way I believe they should be run-Discipline, in not only every-day duty, but in combat. And THAT is what I am here to speak to you of."
He sighed, walking before a very short table set in the middle of the room-Crossing his legs, and sitting down before it, pouring himself some Tea, "I wish to speak to you about your assignment-Could I offer you some Tea?"
~*~*~
Alex sighed, laying back in a chair on the sand, "Two more days, and then we're blowin' this place."
"Yeah, right," Vincent said as he sat down in his clothes on the sand, toying with the Crystal in his lightsaber, "All we need is to leave, do our duty, and then come back. I don't like leaving Airia for too long."
"We could always take her with us," Alex said jokingly.
"Can we?" Vincent looked up to Alex hopefully for a moment.
Alex sighed, looking at his friend-"Uh...if I had the room, I would."
Vincent sighed, shaking his head, "Same response as usual..." He looked around at the desert, "You know, ever since you left that thing inside the house, I've been feeling a disturbance somewhere on this planet..."

Fina stepped forward to the table, crossed her legs and sat down infront of it on her own side, looking to Tanis' face. "Sure." She said after he offered her tea. "I understand, sir, how you must feel, but it seems odd that the Jedi would send a message through our troops with the real intent of sending it to a sith. It seems like he might know this sith well..." She said, folding her hands in her lap. "Of course I can only assume things from the feelings I'm getting..."
She would wait for him to pour tea for both of them, and then would drink her own. She did take a bit of notice of his condition. It was almost as if he was hardly in battle, yet had seen quite a bit of it. It sort of surprised her how few scars he had, yet how he was obviously older. She guessed, however, she would seem the same. Few scars, except young and likely less experienced...

Tanis noticed her looking at him, and the few scars he had on his body as he poured her tea, "It is an ancient method that the Teras-Kasi use to remove scars. One would think that a battlescar was a mark of honor-and it is...but it is also a method used to fool those in combat. Battle Scars are a sign of experience-and that is what a soldier would rely on seeing in the old days out of armor to judge their opponent's strength. The Mandalorians believe that scars show signs of experience-but they are foolish, and weak-They under-estimate their opponent. I have killed many who believe me to be nothing but a weak old man." He sighed, taking his tea, and sipping it gently. He set the cup back down, "And as for what I must speak to you about-That Jedi, the one from the Hologram-He's not alone. He is accompanied by a Mercenary named Alexander Owllance. They are both highly dangerous-Our military has dealt with them both before many times-but this time, it seems that they have made themselves widely known. And as for the Sith they mentioned-I have heard his name mentioned in the past, but nothing more than that." He sighed, finishing his Tea, and walking over to where he had left his uniform top-putting it on. "I will send a squad with you-a dozen of my finest men. They will escort you in the direction they last headed-Towards the Krayt Graveyard in the upper North-Eastern corner of the planet. I must advise you-If they make their home near the Krayt Graveyard...not even I will be able to save you. The Krayt's thick hide make even a bomb unable to kill them...You could be in dangerous trouble if you aren't careful."

Calra snorted inside her helmet as a tall Sulonian Tusken stepped forward. He wore simple grey clothing and a blued steel colored tunic. Thus making everything about him, from his face to his feet some shade of grey. In his hands was a force pike.
Calra spun her swords lazily, her eyes studying the movements of this opponent. The Tusken was well muscled but unarmored, his stance with the pike clearly displaying proficiency with his chosen weapon. Still, it wasn't a member of the devestatingly proficient sand people she was facing, but a Tusken from Sulon where water was more plentiful then land.
The Tusken rushed forward thrusting his Pike, Calra batted it away with one of her blades and spun hand outstretched and clubbed the Tusken in the shoulder with her second sword. There was a flash of electricity as the blade connected followed by a dribble of blood. The Tusken snarled in outrage and thrust again.
Calra hooked the pike in her curved swords and pulled, ripping it from Tusken's hands and dropping it into her own. Dropping her swords Calra spun and struck impacting the Tusken's chest with the electrified tip and dropping him to the ground.
"Thats it, Duras of Kronos advances..."
The preliminary match was over, and she'd won, rather easily. As she stepped from the ring she glanced across the ring to see Bellum starring at her. Soon they would face each other in battle once more.

The licker felt that push. Something was attempting to keep it down. That blasted witch. Flaring its nodes on its back, it calculated the necessary trajectory to spit at the witch in one fell motion, but as it turned around to use its true sight, its heat sensing ability had missed something extremely important. Smashed by the impact of several trunks, it heard a whisper in the back of its head. Something was relaxing it, but it fought as it should. Writhing under the weight of the branches, it scrambled to right itself.

Fina nodded after what he had said about the Teras Kasi method. She made a mental note of it. She reached forward, took the Tea, and waited for him to finish before speaking as well. "I understand. I haven't fought a Krayt myself, but I have heard about them. And thank you for the information, and for having your men come along. I'm sure that the support you're providing will be quite enough to get the job done. We're not going to pick a fight, after all... I'm going to negotiate with them..." The krayts can't be helped though, if they are there... She thought. Maybe it would be better to have a few of his men stay in my ship and have it ready to come back us up while keeping the rest around as an infantry escort...

"If you're thinking of taking a ship, I'd best think again-There are reports that a rather large sandstorm is going to hit the Krayt Graveyard within the next 6 hours-And my guess would be that if they aren't already gone, they will use the storm to cover their own tracks. So taking a ship would be useless, and going before then would allow them to escape-So I would use the time to at least make an attempt to head out before the storm hits."
He looked up to her, "We have smoke grenades that contain gasses that aren't noxious to humans, but Krayt's cannot stand them. They contain Mynock Pheramones-Apparently it drives the Krayt's away because of the horrid stench they make. Now...Sargeant Actarn will be in momentarily. I will allow you to take control of the squad-but if it comes to fighting, Sargeant Actarn will relieve you and command the squad. No dis-respect to you, of course-But my men are highly trained for combat...and have dealt with mercenaries and Jedi before. Now If you'll excuse me, Miss Xanth, I have other matters to attend to. I shall hope that your journey is safe, and that you have luck in turning the Jedi, and capturing the Merc." The commander nodded once, and then moved out of the room.
A few minute's later, the Sargeant entered the room, "Miss Xanth?" He was wearing Sand Trooper, his helmet tucked under his right arm, Blaster Rifle at his back, "My Name's Actarn Selus, Master Sargeant of 'Blood Loyalist', Squad 8. Commander Tanistra tells me that you're to be taking charge of this squad for the most part of the mission." He nodded to her, "My suggestion to you, Miss Xanth, is that we get moving. No dis-respect, ma'am, but I've dealt with Alex Owllance before-And if I know him, then he's gonna use this sandstorm to make an exit with his Jedi friend-Both of them move around this planet quite frequently to avoid detection, using the weather to cover their tracks-But the Jedi make's his home on the edge of the Krayt Graveyard, as I've recently been informed. Make no mistake, Ma'am-If this man Owllance doesn't believe that we're already upon him, then he's planned ahead to make damn sure we don't capture him-And I'm not about to let him escape this time. So my suggestion is, we move out immediatly."

Jaden could feel The Lickers drousiness, but he could also feel his resistence. He digged deeper into the Lickers mind, going deeper into it's instincts and found it's part of the mind that encouraged resistence against such techniques. Ah....my master has trained you well. He then used the sme tech. on that part of the mind, encouraging relaxtion to his resistence, while also incouraging sleep, and the shutting down of many of his defenses.

"Link! That was incredible!" The voice in his ear squeeled. "I thought that guy was gonna crush you flatter than a grid-cake!"
Link's gaze drifted over the other combatants on nearby mats as they did battle and awaited their turn to compete. "This one is not near as frail as he might seem to be." He replied. "He is as skilled fighting on land as you are fighting in space."
Taking a look at the holomonitors broadcasting other mats, link arched an eyebrow.
There was a familiar looking Saurian on one Mat, a Correllian he had had a run in with before on another, and a Mandalorian with an armor set that he thought he recognized.
None of them were going under their real names for reasons he was certain would land them in trouble and a few were in disquise like him. He just hoped that they didn't recognize him as a Jedi. If that were to happen, the whole enterprize would be for naught.
"This one has a bad feeling about what is to come..."

Fina sat at the table, thinking about things as Tanis left. She guessed that if there was a spy in the base that he might easily be able to avoid her. But she guessed Tanis wouldn't let it be her problem. Either way she had to keep herself concentrated on what she was here to do. After the trooper came in, she stood and turned toward him. "Alright then, lets go..." She said, then started out of the room and toward the entrance of the base. She was planning on asking what tricks Alex might have, but she guessed she'd have her hands full with the Jedi if it came down to a fight. Still, she hoped that it wouldn't come to that.
