Alien Invader Shadow that guy has a serious bug up his a** but he has a point *She lets out a long sigh.* As someone who has studied environmental science... I would say those who feed off darknrgy qualify as a niche species. He is worried because from his perspective, we are taking away a resource from him. However, the needs of a niche species are often very different from those of the mass populace. Right now, many are being threatened by an overflow of darknrgy. The niche species may thrive, but what good what it do if everything else was killed off? ForsakenWolf is right - there will always be darknrgy. There will always be a shadow to every light, there will always be a negative to balance the positive, low tide will always follow hide tide... the universe is a giant game of ebb and flow, with nothing ever truly leaving, but everything scattering about randomly by the laws of entropy. The longer we can create and maintain peace, the better off everyone will be. Yes, there will be much less darknrgy, but it will still be there and in levels less harmful to most.

Evil Pepper KLN You know, I just realized... with Zurg Hive's reputation, who would'a thunk that we'd have been the ones to create this peace group? It's especially nice that I am welcome here. I know ZH and ANBU had some bad blood in the past. I hope that is all behind us now. 3nodding
Of course. All bad ties between all of the factions are asked to be put down while present here at GU. We just kinda want everyone to remember who we are. We're all Gaians, and no matter how much fighting we do, it accomplishes nothing. In fact... it just makes our world look a lot more pathetic. sweatdrop

But I think anyone who has a decent understanding of physics knows that it's impossible. Or philosophy. "Everything in moderation, even moderation." We're simply working to bring the levels down to an acceptable level. There's been too much hatred and violence in Gaia. We've been consumed by it. So, we're pushing the pendulum back before it swings too far, so to say.

Well... Things seem to be going pretty well so far. I wouldn't be too worried about anything.
