Sarabi came slowly awake and blinked sleepily. The sun was peeking into the cave and the light had fallen on her face. The queen's stomach growled and she remembered that today she planned to take the lionessess out hunting. They needed the food. Sarabi was careful as she rose, so as not to disturb her son or mate. They could sleep for a bit longer, and hopefully wouldn't be awake long before she brought back food. Padding to the cave mouth, she looked for the other lionesses, spotting Koho talking to the firekin prince from yesterday. "Koho!" She called. "I need to speak with you!"

Yakuti gave a reassuring nuzzle, standing to take a few steps foreward "Would you like ot meet him? Wokovu that is.." she smiled back at Taka, hoping she'd understand her love of youngsters.. and the reason she was paying so much attention to the kit.

Wokovu finall ypried his eyes open and forced himself to a slouched standing position.. ears drooped, tail lifeless. he gave a classic cat streach, yawning and stand up straight again. He shook his head in an attempt to clear the drowziness. He blinked, looking at his mom and.. what seemed to be another her.
his head cocked to the side no.. the little ones a bit different.. shrugging it off he grinned and started making his way to the two, starting in a trot and ending in a run-pounce for his "mother"
"morning mom!"

Yakuti yelped as she was suddenlly tackled by the lion cub almost twice her size soon receiving a full lick against her fur..
"Good morning Wokovu.."

"My name is Jasiri, what is yours?" Jasi saw him cringe a little, when putting the weight on his leg. Quickly, her motherly instincts sprung into action. "Is your leg hurt? Here come with me." Without an answer from the male she spun around, searching the weedy ground for somthing. A look of triumph spread across her face as she plucked a strange red weed from the ground. She headed towards a small puddle, and placed the weed in the water, squeezing it against the sandy bottom so the small flowers would emit there pollen. Slowly sturring the concoction around with her paw, she becond him over. "Place you paw in this, it should ease the pain, and prevent infection." Her ears flickerd back and forth, and her eyes were set on the puddle, making sure the healing pollen mixed well enough.

Wokovu grinned, hopping off his "mother" tail waving playfully at the sight of the kit "Hi! I'm Wokovu." he said, almost proudly "I'm going to become a prince." he stated again, this time more proudly than before as he puffed out his chest.
He crowched down in a pouncing position, rear waving in the air before he poked the kit with a paw "tag!" he shouted, jumpin gup and running away a bit, pausing to make sure she'd chase him. He may have had firekin blood in him but that didn't seem to affect his playful cub personality.

Jasi looked down at the swirling liquid, trying to remember where she learned to make such a potion. "Your welcome. You pick up alot of things, roaming around like we do." She chuckled a little, suddenly thinking of Mwali learning to hunt by himself. She wondered how his lessons with Koho were going. That reminded her, she handedt eaten yet. Her stomach made a small gurgling noise, as if to agree with her. She spotted some gazelle grazing a little way off, and started to walk towards them. "Ill get the food, your in no shape to be running right now." She made her way towards her taget, an old, sickly looking gazelle towards the back. She made sure not to make a sound, her eyes darting back and fourth as she searched for the best way to go. Then, she pounced, and ran full-speed towards the gazelle. The gazelle didnt even here her coming. She pounced, her teeth sinking into its neak. The animal was dead before it hit the ground. Jasiri licked the sweet blood from her maw, and pulled the dead carcus towards Sukutu, offering him some.

Jasiri smiled warmly. "Taka taught me. She is a female cheetah, and she is extreamly good at hunting. She adopted a lion cub, my friend Tuele. Hes very well at hunting too. And then theres Wokovu and his mom, hes good too. Together we make a great team." She took a bite of the meat, chewing it slowly. She rememberd her first hunting lesson well, when all together they took down a wild boar. She looked around, wondering where the other were. "What about you. Do you have any family around here? It must have been a great place to grow up. Its like a paradise to us."

"Your lucky you have a sister. The only family I remember is my mother, and she died awile ago." Jasiri's ears flattend against her head, her eyes staring uneasily at the ground. "Now I travel with my friends. They are like my family now." Her warm smile returned, thinking of the first time she had met Tuele and Taka. She was only a young cub back then. She took another peice of meat, savoring the rich flavor before gulping it down. She layed down in the grass beside him, felling the heat of the sun along her back. "I think ill miss all the traveling we did. Now that we have a permenit home, we dont have to roam anywhere else. The excitment, the frustration, the not knowing where your going." She nuzzled her nose the the grass, the small blades tickleing her face.

Jasiri's famous sly grin spread across her face. "Really now? What kind of excitment?" And then she pounced on him, pinning his shoulders to the ground, her eyes sparkling. She roared, and jumped off him, and ran towards pride rock, expecting him to chase after her. The grass was soft and velvetly underneath her worn out paws. She laughed and giggled running slowly so he could keep up with his hurt paw, which shouldn't be hurting much now.
