Akira sure didn't. She ate her food and stared up at Kashi, wondering what was wrong. She finished her portion and eyes his.
Jade caught the girls look and gave her another serving of food and nearly laughed when she immediately resumed eating and staring. She was curious what was bothering Kashi as well. He was frowning a bit, she'd never seen him frown in teh short time she'd been exposed to him but it still didn't seem to fit, he was always on top of things, never surprised or frazzled. She sighed adn stoked the fire adn settled for sleep.

Kashi lowered his gaze to take guard. He wanted the others to have their rest. He would eventually have all his...maybe. Depended upon how he felt at the time mainly...

Akira blinked finally and wiped her hands and face of grease before hugging Kashi around the waist she beamed up at him and said the first word she'd ever said to him, "Kashi!" She said and buried her face into his side, sighed and relaxed into slumber.
Jade, who had already fallen into exhausted sleep, had not heard.

After a loooong and defiantely boring day Yumi headed back to her shack. I know I'll be able to lift it tomorrow... I'm sure of it... Tired she closed her eyes.

Miles and miles away from her, Lotus too fell into exhausted slumber after a hard days work. She had a dream, more like a parody of her encounter with Sakura and Yumi. In her sleep she growled and rolled over, grinding her teeth in agitation.

Masamune watched Yumi and smiled softly to himself. She worked well when she wanted too. A good thing at times, but not always of course. He would go home to rest himself.
Kashi smiled slightly down at the girl he had named Akira. It was interesting, she called his name as the first words she ever uttered toward him. He found it, interesting. He would keep guard for now though, and let thoughts be for tommorow.
Sakura sat in the tree, his eyes slightly closed. Thoughts floating through his mind as he rested. "He has to be a sociopath. There is no other way to describe that aura..."

The next day back on the training ground Yumi walked over to the lump again. A moment she stood there and glared at the piece, then suddenly she just reached down and lifted it up. A bit surprised herself that she actually had managed to do it she stared at the rock in her hands, then dropped it on the ground.
"Uhmm... Masamune-san, what now?" Still slightly shocked she rolled up an sleeve and inspected her arm, poked it in several places, then smiled... I guess that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Jade woke up with a start and for a second didn't know where she was. She satup and looked around and whens eh caught sight of Kashi and a slumbering Akira she remembered and relaxed. She stretched and yawned, squinching her eyes shut as she did so then sighed and let her arms fall down to her sides loosely, "Morning." she mumbled and stood slowly to get more fire wood for the breakfast fire.
Akira woke up about ten minutes after Jade had started cooking breakfast; the smells roused her. She yawned into her hand and looked up at Kashi with bleary adoring eyes.

Masamune smiled softly and waved her into the smithing place. "Come with me, and I'll begin teaching you how to control your strength, keeping your speed and silence."
Kashi chuckles and nods to Jade. "Morning Jade-san" Kashi looked down at Akira and patted her head slightly before looking back to the breakfast being prepared.

Akira let out a joyful shrieking noise and got up, stumbling a bit and ran off to the stream that was nearby to wash.
Jade watched her go, "Odd girl. Where ever did you find her?" She gave Kashi his portion and made Akira's before making hers and setting upon it hungrily.

Yumi followed Masamune into the workshop, still a bit surprised she had actually lifted that piece.
"Hmmm... control strenght you say... sounds interesting..."
((And I'm thinking of introducing a new character to spice things up... I want to RP a little with Blue too whee Hope you don't mind?))

Kashi chuckles as Akira runs off, and then looks back to Jade. "Find her? I found her in a village, the lone survivor of an attack on the village, that utterly decimated it. I took her under my wing naming her Akira. And yes, she is odd, but interesting." Kashi took the food and began eating himself as well.
Masamune nods a bit as he points toward the furnace. "Go begin pumping that up, and get it hotter than you believe you will ever need it. Meaning for about half an hour simply pump, don't do it wildly either. A set steady pace understand?"

Yumi obeyed Masamune and walked over to the furnace. Slowly she started pumping, with a steady pace... just as he had told her to do. After around 30 minutes she stopped and quickly moved away from the now terribly hot furnace.
"I'm sorry... but I just can't stand it anymore, these clothes are completely wrong for this... and since I didn't exactly prepare for something like this, I didn't bring more suitable clothes with me either..." Yumi looked down on her now horribly dirty kimono, then started to undress. A while later she stood there in pair of not too charming thight shorts and a wrapped top.
((Uhmm... since I really have no idea about what kind of clothes they had in Japan at that time, I just came up with something... and the top thingy is like what Kaoru uses in Kenshin... have no idea what it's called... sweatdrop ))

She frowned, looking off in the direction that Akira had disappeared, "I see." She murmered and finshed her breakfast. She cleaned her area and stood, "I'll be with Akira." She trotted off after the girl.

Masamune chuckles softly and shakes his head a bit. "Go into the village and look for some clothes." He puts a bag on the table. "Tell them that you're my short-term apprentice and need it alright?" He chuckles softly and goes back to his own work. "It won't get any easier in other clothes mind you. You must be able to stand the heat and deal with it. This type of heat most people will never know or understand...you will have to learn it all quickly." Masamune then went back to his own work.
