After everyone had eaten their fill, Kira got up and tied her hair back into a ponytail. She adjusted her large robe and looked at Z and said, "We're going to finish getting to the manshion before the sun sets. Do you think your horse can run? Or is in as rough shape as you are? Cause if need be, we can carry and your horse the rest of the way.

"Why do I get the feeling I'm the pack mule today?" Tara said as she got up from her sitting position. "Oh Terry, you know we apperciate you," Kira said with a smirk, "But yes, you might say that for today at least. Most of us have to transform or use magic to tap into a large amounts of strength, you can get up to half your strength while still in semi-human form. It's just easier this way."

"Whatever," Tara said as she shook her head and stretched her arms over her head, pulling her black leather coat up some. She laced her fingers while her arms were still above her head and popped her knuckles and elbows before letting them fall. "I could use a workout, the carrying the horse to the manshion would give me a good warm up."

Z looked back to Kira when she spoke, then to Tara, and back to Kira. He blinked, his eyes moving once more to Tara. He studied her for a long moment, as he had before, then looked to his horse. His brows nitted together tightly, examining the beast. He moved in front of it, rubbing its nose, and starring into its eyes. They where sad and beaten, dull and worn. He knew it would not survive much longer, regardless of whether he rode, led it on foot, or had it carried through the air. He frowned deeply at the thought and kissed the beast's nose tenderly, letting it know that everything was okay now. He looked to the others, his eyes sad and pleading. He wanted them to give him a moment alone with the beast.

The horse gave him a small nudge with its nose, snorting softly. He looked back to it and hugged its head warmly, his eyes closing. And finally he spoke, his deep voice cold and dull and harsh, almost demonic.

"Rest well, my friend."

And with one final quiver the horse fell to its knees, taking Z with it. He craddled the beast's head in his lap, stroking its ear as it shuddered out one long, last breath. Z closed his eyes, squeezing out a single tear. He would miss the horse, and regreted having abused it so in the last several months. But he hadn't had a choice. He had had to find the Black Company quickly, for reasons that where his own. He hoped his friend understood that.

Sparkei soon found himself upstairs, looking around with the same look of awe. Of course it started to dull, getting used to his lavish suroundings. Veiwing many pictures of a man with an eyepatch looking very regal, he also saw this same man with the women who greeted him...his family perhaps? Maybe he was this...D...or Draeken was it? That owned this mansion. Those thoughts entered and left his mind just as quick everytime he saw another lovely piece of artwork or a sculpture. Finding more stairs, he remembered that the hostess had said something about bedrooms, and a small yawn creeped across Sparkei's face. Stretching, he looked for any unlocked rooms, walking slowly, sensing the atmosphere up here was alot more tension filled and less confused or jovial compared to downstairs, he finally found a room with noone inside. Opening the door, he felt a wave of heat and he quickly closed the door to keep it inside the room. Looking around the room with the comfortable looking bed, wich was all Sparkei saw at the moment, until he saw the window. Looking out, he realized it was still raining, but there was a subtle beauty to the gray weather that made Sparkei gaze in wonder. All he could see was the lake and the forest, and thats all he wanted to see. Then there was a pit feeling in his stomach, like what he usually felt if something bad was gonna happen, he looked out over the horizon and raised his hand to the glass. "Whatever's gonna happen..." he said to himself, "I hope I'm ready for it." Closing the blinds, he crawled into his bed and quickly fell asleep, not realizing just how tired he really was.

Aethi-Naeh
She was still confused, but only for a moment. Something he could be credited for indirectly, but that she figured out. It came to her like a brick to her head and she stood up looking at Truinthil as if he was an amusing picture, another image hidden within until now. "That spell I used to turn Draeken...I mean, the merged Draeken's and yourself good...It had a permanent effect on you didnt it?" She blinked a few times then looked at her hands and began laughing. "I hadnt even thought of that possibility!"

"Wait...So since you turned the merged one good...Truinthil became good too?" Aria blinked some. "What?...Is that possible?" Aria looked at Truinthil disbelievingly.

"Yes it is quite possible. Seeing as The three of us were all merged to the point where we were all one and the same, what happened to that merged being happened to all of us. Luckily, the spell wasnt one that would turn me into a complete softy. It has just made me kind in a way that has never been apparant in me." He laughed again then shrugged, pouring himself another glass of wine.

Aethi stared alternatively at her hands and Truinthil. She had made him good. Without even realizing it, she had eliminated an enemy of the BC. "I wonder if this would work against other opponents. Maybe...Just maybe."

Aria smirked. "Let's start with Atha, after what she did to my mother." She looked to Aethi. "No Offense its just...ya know..."

"Actually, I think it would be better to see how she will receive me now that I am changed in such a manner. She herself has a growing emotional core as well. I say we see how that turns out before we go all out and force her to change." He smiled and leaned back in his chair again. He might be good for the most part now, but he could still plan all the same.

Thinking about both options for a moment, Aethi shrugged and downed her glass of wine. "I think his idea is a good one. We should see how she reacts to his new personality and see how much the emotions he gave her do to change her on their own." She smiled a bit at Ari, slightly apologetically. She knew that Aria would want to force Athaele to do the worst things imaginable, but she didnt want to resort to that just yet.

"Fair Enough...But I don't think My mother would feel the same. Atha did try to kill me before I was even born. But I will give her the benifit of the doubt...The mineut she screws up however..." Aria let the sentance hang it was obvious what she ment.

"I'm sure that everything will be fine. I'll go talk to her in a while. Or she will come to me. Who knows. In any case, she will come about." He closed his eyes then and began to hum. He seemed to be done with conversation for the moment.

Aethi blinked at Truinthil then shrugged. Turning to Ari she said, "I think he is safe to keep unbound. If he was lying I would be able to tell I'm sure." She shrugged again then got up to leave.

Kira walked up behind Z and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure your horse enjoy his final rest. Right now though we still do need to get you to some place where you can properly recoperate. If you want, we can still carry your horse to the castle so you can bury it somewhere there, or one of use could stay behind to bury him, then catch up with the rest. Would you like that?"

*Dothreme walked into the den, and glided to the nearest corner on his right sitting down. He glanced around the room, noticing there were now weapons where there used to be none.... He looked at those still in the room with him, wondering which of them were new to the company, and which were ones he might try to start a conversation with. He sat there analyzing those in the room and saying nothing.*

*Walking silently into the parlor from the hallway was a rather short woman with silverish colored haid and slate gray eyes. She paused in the doorway to examine the people milling around. None of them were people she recognized, so it was obvious that the BC had gained new members. She smiled in such a way that it seemed more like a sneer as she moved towards the roaring fire, stopping several feet short of it to stare at the flames.*

So.

*Her voice was silken and cold. It rolled from her tongue in a very fluid and seductive manner, but was icy enough that it seemed the fire should have frozen solid.*

The Dojo has been destroyed; by my brother it seems; and the former inhabitants are all flocking here. Amusing. It also seems my brother has finaly been seperated into his original state, though I am sure few of you ever realized that.

*She paused again and began to look around at the people in the room, her eyes seeming to see right through them.*

I wonder how long this place will last against the forces that have been milling in the world as of late. It shall be an interesting chess game to watch, I think.

Previously unseen and unheard, a tall man of Elven figure stepped away from an unoccupied corner of the parlor. "Elisi. What do you want with Draeken and his family now? Havent you done enough harm?" His own voice had a fluidity to it that was more natural and more tranquil than Elisi's. His every movement could be considered graceful by most people of other races. "I think you should leave before Phia finds you. In her current state she is very likely to kill you, and I'm not sure I would be able to stop her."
