WWE has taken action against Randy Orton for unprofessional conduct

Source: prowrestling.com

the RNN is all about sharing news about Randy so don't worry about stealing any thunder from me ^^

i just wanna know if he's out of Backlash or not.

We'll find out Sunday I guess. I don't think he is. They would have mentioned it on Raw.

I actually read somewhere that there never was supposed to be an Edge/Orton match on RAW, they just threw it in there to ******** with our heads after we heard about him getting kicked off the tour.

Orton's Punishment; Why Guys Aren't Getting Fired
Date Added: April 26, 2007
Story By: Daniel Pena
source: www.f4wonline.com

Randy Orton got sent home from the UK tour this week. Apparently he trashed a hotel room. Sources are saying that he was being fined and not even suspended, so he'll be working the Backlash on Sunday.

Vince McMahon is terrified of letting anyone go to TNA, which is why there has been tremendous heat on guys like Carlito for interviews that they've done and few are ever fired (though Carlito is doing jobs left and right, and Orton is almost certainly doing the job Sunday). The Kurt Angle situation was different because WWE didn't think there was any chance of him going to TNA and were actually terrified that he was going to die under their watch in the very, very near future. There isn't that fear with him Orton.

And also

Jim Ross
"Orton, as reported by WWE.com was sent home from the tour for unprofessional conduct, which I am sure will most likely cost the 3rd generation star some hard-earned cash. Nonetheless, Orton will most likely be in Atlanta Sunday, and if he is not I will be surprised. Orton is not unlike many young athletes who reach fame and fortune at a young age and have issues handling it. I read about it seemingly every week regarding athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. That certainly doesn't make it right, as there are only so many second chances to go around and it would be a damn shame to see any young talent self destruct and permanently damage their career because of utilizing poor judgment. Randy is a talented and good hearted kid, but he has to make better choices, especially when it comes to anger issues. In my opinion, if Randy decides to change how he approaches certain situations he can be successful in doing so, which would in turn extend his career into one of the longer, more successful ones in the business. I speak from experience that attitude starts and ends with the person one sees in the mirror."

Back to the good stuff which this week is Backlash. I fully expect the entire Fatal 4 Way to be intact, including Randy Orton and Edge to go along with HBK and Cena. Don't get your hopes up. The way they're workin now his punishment will be that he'll get pinned. Or at least that's my prediction.

But what I wouldn't give for a damn heel champ.

Stone Cold on RKO

"...Randy Orton still hasn't put the pieces of the puzzle together. All the tools but he's distracted. If he can put it together and make a commitment to be the best in professional wrestling, develop an interview style and more interesting character, he's there.
``Physically he's got it, but if he can put it all together, he can be a top guy and make top money. It's up to him.''

i couldn't have said it better than Austin did right here folks. Randy's future is up to Randy.

Agree with Austin...a new gimmick will be a good push and he needs it...

I think Orton needs to go back to his Legend Killer gimmick, away from the Rated R.KO persona, and grow up. It is my personal opinion that his face turn was not a complete failure, because he was interesting as a face, but apparently I am the onyl one who feels this way.

I agree with you...he should return to the Legend Killer gimmick or turn face once again...he had great matches as face...lets just think about his match against Christian not long after Royal Rumble...that was, in my opinion, a PPV quality match.. surprised
And he had epic matches with the Legend Killer gimmick...it was just AWESOME.. biggrin

May be old, but I'd just like to say... I called it! RKO was pinned at the PPV.

Also, I was hearing rumors about the whole hotel incident. Apparently he was kicked off of the tour for other reasons, and being kicked off the tour was the reason he trashed the hotel room.

And yeah. Legend killer all the way.

700 posts! whooooo ^^

i miss the Legend Killer, but thanks to old fat man Hogan, that gimmick is dead. there are now reports coming in that Dusty Rhodes wants Randy on ECW to help "straighten him out". i really hope that doesn't happen, sorry Dream. i see ECW as a place for losers and rookies. if anyone would like to post the news on this, feel free. ^^

I would enjoy to see him on SmackDown! and give an RKO to Ozzy.. xd

Nah seriously...he can be involved in good feuds on SD! since he feuded with almost every top superstars on RAW...he need to do something else...

stressed

that's all i've gotta say about Edge. i hope Kennedy comes back and takes that title which should be his. but we're getting off topic. i don't think moving Randy to either ECW or SD would be smart since Vince put him back on Raw so he and Hunter could keep an eye on him. with Hunter being out, Vince should be on Orton's case 24/7, but he's not. Randy gets 90-98 percent of the blame for what's happening to him, but Vince gets the rest. he was suppose to keep his eye on him and make sure he didn't screw up so that Randy could be the top guy again.

Duke was a b***h about that. Anyway.

I'm predicting it'll be a good year before Randy gets any type of positive push again.
