Roy was starting to get worried. Usually his mother caught on t things like this in a quick moment. She found this exercise to be something more difficult than just moving a body or pushing a force. This is definatly a stronger manor of will than just basic combat. Ryoko moved her hands into a handseal she rememberd. The dragon seal was the one she decided to focus on. This was her animal of choice and zodiac birth. She was determined to learn it now.

Again, nothing moved through her body. This was nothing short of frustrating. A small tension mark moved across her head as she growled. Her anger was starting to make her sound more like a dragon than a human. She focused in her mind and began to think. Is this what ninja have to do? Is this what my son went through before? Or am I just incapable of doing this? I...I want to be a ninja. I WILL be a ninja! She opened her eyes and roared loudly as he pushed her chakra again.

That's it! It was working. It was her determination that was working out better. Her will was just what she needed. A strong will and a strong heart, just like in her combat training. It was her soul desire to become one of the silent protectors of this village that held so much of what she loved. To advance her art with that of the ninja arts was her dream. She would make this work. SHe had to.

She couldn't be loosing it now. It had to be something more powerful than what she was picturing. She was letting her will drop and she needed to move it with a stronger force than normal. She had to work on this. She moved into her deeper mindset again and began to focus the chakra flow into her body. She pictured it moving through the rest of her body with ease.

Ryoko felt she was getting closer. She coudl picture her chakra starting to flow more fluidly. She wanted more out of this. She had to learn to do it at will. It had to be something she could do. Chakra manipulation was the basses of any real ninja's techniques. To move this lifeforce through her body at will was the esscense of her furthing her training. She wouldn't give up. She had to succeed at this no matter what.

It was getting so close. She started to remember back when she first took up martial arts andhow long it took her to get the basics down well enough for her father to let her move on. He was a slave driver and she wasn't going to let herself be any different. She was the worse on herself. Whenever she messed up something she couldn't stop till she had done it succesfully at least 3 more times after that. She was a slave driver of her own soul at this point. She could feel her energy moving freely but it was still not at will.

She was getting a bit tired. Sitting here trying to move something that was unseeable by the human eye was a very difficult task, almost impossible. She couldn't really just ask for help. It was something she had to do on her own. She had to focus this energy as best she could on her own power. She was going to learn to do this and that was that.

She felt her sons eyes on her. She knew he was worried about his mother still not doing it. Of course Roy couldn't see her chakra network but he could tell by the look on his mothers face. She was frowning a bit, something she almost never did. She was getting annoyed by this. What was wrong? What was hindering her chakra movement? Was it a matter of her age? Was she too old to learn this? No, that couldn't be it. She was positive that anyone with enough patiences and will could learn this. She simply had to calm down and focus. Even though she had a firy personality in combat, she was far to strung up for her current situation. She relaxed a bit and began to move the chakra again.

Patiences was something she had to work on in this time. She couldn't let her anger rise up and resound through the entire place. She had to stay focused, no matter how hard it was becoming. She had seen ninja do this time and time again, such a simple thing as moving ones chakra about through their body and this was her pain. She couldn't possibly be this incabable...maybe, she wasn't able to move her chakra freely at will. Maybe she was really not cut out to be a ninja? Nah, that wasn't it, she just needed to focus more, she was sure of it.

(and these ******** dice need to give me a break)

This was getting annoying. Everytime she thought she had it, she couldn't sustain the flow. Everytime she thought it was moving with ease, it would break and go to a slower speed. It was like rush hour traffic in her chakra network and she couldn't figure out what lights to make green for everythingto just flow. She was starting to loose her cool a bit but only clinched her hands together tighter. They began to turn red as she moved her chakra again.

The doubt began to flow through her mind again. She wasn't able to be a ninja. She wasn't welcomed in the city. She was a fool for believing she could dwell in such a world. It was all just an illusion...these thoughts ran rampent through her mind. The more she tried to get rid of them, the louder they seemed to get. They were like doubtful voices running through her head. She couldn't move her chakra, not with this much doubt in her own ability.

That's when it hit her. These doubts were her true failure. She put herself downa nd her abilities came down with them. She had to release all these doubts and simply focus. With a deep, single breath, she pictured the doubts leaving ehr body and her chakra flowing freely.

The doubt was gone. She could feel that much. The last try was simply the remnents of the doubt leaving her body and freeing her mind of their horrid hold. She could focus no. She began to combine all that she had figured out for herself: A focused breathing regiement for the stamina and bodies energy, a healthy mind for the spiritual energy, and a clear thought for the mental energy. She could see these three energies combining in her and flowing throughout the network like water down an unblocked stream. She was going ot do this.

She had done it! She had moved her chakra througout her body with ease. She found the right mindset. It was always a calm mind and a determined heart. Her doubts were just clogging her network so to speak. She stood up and jumping for joy and lifted her son in her arms. She squeezed him tightly and began to spin him around. "I did it! I did it! I moved my chakra! I manipulated it baby!"

Roy smiled to his mother and soon asked her to let him go. She did and grinned to him. "Bet you didn't think your sexy mom could do it did you!?"

Roy smiled again, "I knew you could do it. It's you. Now, lets move on." She quieted down and began to listen to her son.

Roy walked over to his mom and looked to her for a moment. He then showed her the handsigns for a basic jutsu of Bunshin. "Ok mom, I'm gonna start you off pretty easily. Nothing complicated. This is bunshin. One of the Jutsu's I'm learning in the academy. Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog. Do these and distribute your chakra all throughout your body."

Ryoko nodded. She was a little worried that it might be a bit fast for her to be trying this jutsu but it was something she had to do eventually. She took a few steps back and began to do the handsigns herself while attempting her chakra manipulation again.
