mystic_emerald yenyit mystic_emerald yenyit mystic_emerald Aww, that sucks. xp Man, so many people are so dependent on public transit.....it's for a good cause but it's going to hurt a lot of people. so...what am I gonna do about getting to class?..sky train will still run right?...if not..I have no way of getting to class...I could walk to the skytrain...but I can't walk to NW campus...*worried* Nope, the skytrains will be out as well. *thinks* Ow, meh brain hurts. Hmm.....there's absolutely nobody you can get a ride with? unless they wanna waste gas and come all the way here to pick me up..then drive all the way back...and...no..I know no one anyways... sad ...I'm screwed crying *hides*....so...is it a sure thing they will strike?...not worth getting stressed from something that might not happen...but I did see striking people at the bus stop on my way home... Yeah, the strike will probably happen. I already got an email from one of my profs who's cancelling class tomorrow cuz of the number of students affected by it. Lol, now I only have one class to go to tomorrow. I tried searching up some updated news but most of them sound pretty iffy right now, nothing official as of yet. Lol, I found this rant about the strike: http://squishyhead.net/transit_rant.html I went to transitbc.ca...and...earlier...it said transit will function normally...*waits until tomorrow*

I am starting to get mad at this teacher strike. All I do is play video games all day. My eyes were so bloodshot, people thought I was doing drugs. gonk

this strike is not helping anyone really well I mean its good for the teachers to take a stand but if transit goes to and the goverment does nothing then there might be like a riot or something

Ah well, my class was still cancelled. razz But this morning I was watching the news and some woman in Burnaby set up a transit strike despite the BCFed's claim that transit will not be affected. Luckily I wasn't affected too much....no express but the slower regular buses are better than nothing. xd

If they take out transit it'll mostly affect the people who need it (and that's a lot of people) instead of the government. I mean, we still have to go to work or go to school...
