soloft Yeah, a bit. You live close to UNT though. Yep. There are a whole bunch of schools close by. TCU is 10 minutes from my house.

soloft ElvesFreak soloft EViLgerbilz soloft Oh, cool. So that means two more years, and occasionally more than that. Web design is very profitable. My friend is a shophmore too and he does web design. He already has 18 grand in his bank account. Wow, that's really sweet. I havent started doing it professionally yet, mostly just for myself and around school. I'm redesigning the trumpet section website for my band <--check out my mad skills relating it back to the threat topic XD Ya, and I'm from Ft. Worth. So I'm quite a ways from you guys. Yeah, a bit. You live close to UNT though. Yeah she does. This thread is kinda dying. I'm gonna go to another thread, later. ok, byez

iOggy Minor administrative note: please refrain from nesting quotes more than two deep. It's great to see such active discussion, but it's kind of annoying for the rest of us when we have to scroll through the same message, and it's quoted in every single post on the page. ok, well gtg bye anyway

it really all depends you should try to research on the sizes of the parts of the mouthpieces...
basically 3rd year it depends...if you play a lower part you should try to have a deeper cup to have a more round sound, if you play higher parts, you should try a more shallow mouthpiece to make yourself have that brassy sound wink
if anything PM me and ill try to help ya out

For what it's worth, I've never had problems with my Bach 3C. The only issue I have now is that I can't use it, as trumpet mouthpieces don't work with flugelhorns. sad

Indeed, I used a 7C all the way up until my sixth year. It does make a huge difference in tone quality, though, so I'd advise switching as soon as possible.

oh...just noticed...Bach Stradivarius has a very somewhat dark tone towards it...perhaps there are brighter trumpets than that?
I use a Yamaha Xeno and it works really well with bright tones...
