A smile played on her pale green lips at Morginn's comment. "It's definitely a little surreal," Raleka responded quietly, even though she wasn't so sure it was. She'd never even visited the other two universities - she hadn't ever had much of a reason to. She knew from the time she was a Freshling that she wanted to work with plants. They were quiet and receptive to her words, and created a calming environment the hybrid had always been fond of. Nothing else had ever even been an option. Raleka focused intently on stuffing and stitching the last bits of Morginn's plush. As she got closer to finishing, she started to hold it under the table so it would be more of a surprise. The fabric she had chosen was a delicate, vaguely galaxy print - something she felt Morginn might like, even though they had just met.
Finally, she was supposed to finish it off by attaching a pair of horns and a ribbon around the neck. Carefully, Raleka tied the bow, before presenting Morginn with the slightly lopsided, rushed-looking jackalope. "For you," she said earnestly, lifting the corners of her lips in what she hoped was a friendly smile. She was a little nervous about her handiwork, but the making of the plush was simple enough. Raleka would have to start on Renge's next, and move a little more quickly, if they were ever to leave this table.

Morginn had finally settled on an arrangement of the fabric that was pleasing to him and had begun to sew the pieces together and stuff them. He had the arms and legs finished, just the body and head left. He hoped Raleka liked the different fabrics; he thought they were cute, but some people might feel like they were a bit much. He didn't know enough about her personal tastes to know what she might like, so it was all a guess.
"So, three university students, each from a different university! It's either the worst of luck, or like some kind of storybook fate," he said with a chuckle. He was at least in the middle so it would be relatively easy for him to visit if they all began great friends from this meeting, but Asterion and Leviathan were pretty far apart for casual travel.
Laurel paused his skipping just long enough to check out a few booths. There were some really pretty things like lockets and flowers all around the festival that he would have otherwise missed if he kept running along as he always did. In fact, there were things he'd never seen before, like heart shaped bracelets!
He held one of the bracelets out to the light and smiled. This was his favorite shade of pink! Or was it magenta? He was never quite sure. Regardless, he slipped it on his wrist and carried on his way. It was probably a good time to check his booth and see if he needed to restock his plushies!
While on their search for more lockets, Valerian and Viveka stumbled upon a funny little stand. It was decorated just like the others, only it didn't have chocolates, plushies, or jewelry to offer, but chunks of really shiny rocks! Naturally, Valerian's gaze went straight for a bright pink rock and shoved it in his pocket, before pointing to a purple one that he thought Viveka might like.
"I think they call that one amethyst. It's really shiny!" He said, laughing and looking over the rest of the stones. "The name of mine has to be written around here somewhere, but I can't see it. Do you see it?" (108 words)
Viveka wasn't terribly enthralled by the rock table, but he went along with it because Valerian seemed to like it. However, after being handed a bright purple stone and seeing Valerian light up as he explained what it was, Viveka couldn't help but beam right back at his friend. There was just something wonderful about Valerian that made him want to grin like that, and he loved it!
"Oh, uh, uh, I think it's uh..." He stammered, forcing his eyes to scan the table carefully. "Um, there! T-Tour... Tourmaline! Your rock is tourmaline, Valerian!"
He felt proud of himself after finding the name of the stone for Valerian and happily took the pink haired boy's hand as it was offered. This festival was turning out to be a lot more fun than he thought it would be! Hopefully nothing happened to ruin that for them! (145 words)
Siobhan couldn't help but fiddle with the locket as she walked Tyrian through the festival. It wasn't just the act of offering to put it on her that made her blush, but the compliment he paid to her right after as well. Still, there probably wasn't any meaning to it. He was only making up for being rude to her before. Yeah, that was it! He was trying to win her over!
She raised her head up high. Well, he'd have to try harder than that to win her affections! She wasn't a big softy! Her heart was made of steel, the hardest kind of steel! (107 words)
Tyrian watched the way Siobhan fidgeted with the locket and started to feel as though she were contemplating something. What was with this girl? He couldn't figure her out! The way she held herself, so proudly, it only served to confuse him further. Did she find him intimidating or something? His ears didn't know how to behave! Up? Down? Attentive? Submissive? What did she want?
"Uh... Oh, flowers!" He exclaimed, plucking one of the bouquets from the stand. "... These flowers match your locket, Siobhan... Would you like them?"
He lowered his head and blushed, before holding the flowers close to him.
"... I don't understand why you're looking at me like that." He muttered, glancing to the side. "Are you mad at me?" (125 words)
Sadly, it seemed that after finding her first bag of candy, Kiriko's luck had run out. All of the other children had swiped up all the candy at other booths before she'd arrived, the greedy meanies! ... Well, she supposed that's what she deserved for being late to the festival, but it really wasn't her fault! Milo has kept her at his dorm too long for chatting and other boring stuff! He was to blame for her tardiness! Big brothers were such a pain in the butt! She folded her arms, huffed, and continued walking around. She'd probably have to wait a while, but there had to be more candy soon! The adults wouldn't let a candy famine happen for long! (122 words)
Still holding onto his plushie, Liatris felt confident enough to explore the area a bit more. He found his way over to a table that was covered in treats, and he eagerly picked out a bag of jawbreakers. He had been tempted by the brownies, but the fey knew that the jawbreakers would last longer. They were also one of his favorite candies.
The jackalope shuffled around in Allumins arms and he held still till it was settled down. Allumin peered firmly at the purple familiar he sighed. "Baron. Your certainly a lordly sort aren't you?" He conversed with the creature. Allumin thought he might have insulted the jackalope, as it suddenly leapt out of his arms and to the ground. "Ah! I'm sorry! Is that a bad name?" He asked it worriedly. Baron however had stopped and pawed at the ground. He turned over a shiny stone and peered up at Allumin expectantly. Allumin knelt down and shuffled his plushies under one arm so his other hand was free. He picked up a purple stone and blinked. "Hey. I think this is an amethyst. You have a good eye Baron." He praised the jackalope, which began to hop around him energetically.
