"Seeing as the only two previous encounters we've had were a group of dumb drunks which were knocked out by throwing wine bottles at them from a distance, and my spectacular attempt to rescue you from that demon's clutches. An attempt that almost got us all killed and/or raped." he said rubbing his neck where Jaquel had held him. "Speaking of which, that a*****e's going on my to-do list once I'm free."

Mala felt herself cheer up a slight bit once Van mentioned his vendetta against Jaquel. "You'd better get him good and dead for me, okay?" she said, grinning once more.

"Trust me, I will. I don't appreciate people, especially assholes like him, trying to worm in on my territory." Van said as he formed a small mental plan of all the things he was going to do once he got his body back. So far the list consisted of wailing on Jaquel and telling Atius and the other gods to shove it.

"And you shouldn't. Kick his a**, make him suffer, and hopefully give him a punishment that fits his crimes." Mala said, now crossing her arms. "If possible, you might want to take away his looks. I'm pretty sure a b*****d like that would be most upset if he didn't have his pretty face anymore."

Mala nodded eagerly. "Definately. He shouldn't be able to molest another lady again!" she said with a firey look in her eyes. After a couple secconds she said, "I think I know what we should do about getting you out of Riley's body. We should find another powerful High Priest or a talented Ritualist."
