Mark laughed at Greg's question. "Of course I did though it's not like they're gonna want anything of mine. All the stuff I brought was from after the Great Depression and the beginning of World War 2. The only thing that isn't part in that time period was the food which I already ate. You don't seem like you have all your stuff either so maybe you should take your advice," he replied.

looks to him "All my stuff i hid in my saxophone case which i hid and the kids in the Hermes cabin already stole my iPod i swear those kids are really immature but the sons and daughters of Hermes can't help it. Do you know who your godly parent is yet?"

"Not a clue, but right now, I don't think I want to know who it is. He or she abandoned me for over 68 years of my life, so why would they care for me now? You?" Mark was getting angrier as he talked, but calmed down after as he didn't try to think about his parents.

sighs "I know how you feel my Father or Mother left me on the front porch of a family I felt like they didn't want me" he looks down and sighs again "I got over it luckily since when i left my foster parents finally gave me the letter that was left with me when i was dropped off"

Right before he could reply, Greg had gotten up and left. "Wow, that's just rude and disrespectful," he said annoyed. He hoped not all people where not like that. 'What is this world coming to?' he thought angrily. Everything he hated was at camp so far. He wasn't excellent at anything that he knew of so there was nothing for him to do at camp... yet. He wondered who his "godly" parent was, though, couldn't think of anyone. He got up and walked over to the nearest tree to get out of the bright sun. Resting his back against the tree trunk, he closed his eyes though was careful not to let Hypnos come near him. Though he didn't know that much about greek mythology, he was fascinated with the greek children of the night. They were mysterious and had some of the most awesome jobs.

After a couple of min, Mark decided to get up and brushed off the biodegradable stuff stuff on him. He took one last glance at the view over the hill where the normal people lived, then startedo walk down the big hill. He wondered where he should go next and headed off into a random direction.

Jonathan ran to Half Blood Hill. Hell hounds chased him, he threw a dagger at them, but didn't check to see if any damage has been done. His mother had been killed a few miles back while attempting to bring him here. Jonathan had to dive for the borderline to get across before running out of energy completely. He layed there panting and gasping for air.

Seth walked up onto the hill seeing Hellhounds eyeing the border carefully. He pulled out his sword and raised it trying to ward them off. Of course, the border prevented such monsters from crossing, so he just sat down.

Mercedes saw the hellhounds as well and started running for the border of the camp. One of them turned hearing and smelling her. It let out a blood cry and then the chase began. She saw a boy with a huge sword just beyond a pine tree and shouted," Help!"

"Oh, this'll be fun." Seth said,standing up holding his sword like a bat and hitting the Hellhounds as they came. After the first two they started to gang up and he just sighed. He held his sword and swung it at them, knocking out a few, the rest fleeing. Then he walked back over to the girl that just made it into camp. "You ok?" he asked, sheathing his sword.

Mercedes was breathing heavily,"What the hell were those things?!" she asked. She was relatively unaware of where she was or what the implications of her crossing the border meant.

"Well, those things are Hellhounds, and like you said, they're from Hell." Seth said simply. "And let me be the first to welcome you to Camp-Half Blood." he added.

She laughed,"Hellhounds? This has got to be a joke." she looked up. "Dad and I know there are no camps within fifty miles of Long Island Beach Point. Only an old strawberry farm."
