--Null-Heal : I don't have a problem with the idea, but I understand that it might be too much. Perhaps instead Bar-Heal? Half the effect of all healing, lower it one or two level (Curaga->Cura or Cure, for example). I dunno how you and the other mods would want to work it, just an idea.

--Z-Grav : I can understand Joe's point. To be honest, we don't know how Jenny's would work--she hasn't used it yet. If anything, you're providing the precedent, and keeping some balance in mind, Joe has a good point. To your benefit, going with flat damage against a person could be big at higher levels.

--War Cry/Magna Charge : They aren't so much "issues" as headscratchers. You can name your skills whatever you want, which is why it's a little odd to call a skill a shout but then say you're calling mist. It's up to you how you want to work it, really.

--DP : Talking about DP, if you did get rid of it, you could easily turn the Z-Grav family into your basic four/five spell tree. Ty for 2, Ra for 3, Ga for 4, Ja for 5. Honestly, that's a lot in RP time as is. You could even include Za, which in DDD is a sort of Z-Grav + Singularity. Just things to consider.

Sorry these ideas didn't come sooner, I was in "approval" mode, not "suggestion" mode xD And as far as passives go, they don't need to be approved immediately, so you've got time to think it over until you're sure :3


- I wouldn't mind switching over to Bar Heal

- You know, honestly lets go ahead and do that. Z-Grav can be get the Ty, Ra, Ga, Ja Treatment, sending small fry flying and more powerful enemies will take strait damage from the force. Don't know where I'd squeeze Za though. Maybe as a third supermove?

- I'll Change them to "Fog of War" and "Mist of Mana"

- That leaves my other passive, which I still need to brain storm.

    • Crystal/Crystara/Crystaga- Amy is capable of casting this just like a Fire or Blizzard spell, with the method of attack varying to her needs.
    • Crystal Spire- Amy summons a swift spike of Crystal magic from the ground underneath the opponent.
    • Crystal Glaive- Amy summons a row of erupting Crystal Spires in the direction of her target.
    • Crystal Repulse- In a defensive move, Amy summons a number of smaller Crystal Spires to rise around her, pushing away any adjacent opponents.
    • Crystal Eruption- The ground beneath Amy's target suddenly erupts with a barrage of Crystals.
    • Crystal Explosion- Any large Crystal that Amy has summoned may, if she wills it, explode, sending mass amounts of tiny Crystals at all opponents around it.
    • Hail Torrent- Amy calls forth a rain of Crystal magic, falling on her target(s) from the sky above like hailstones.
    • Crippling Bind- Amy attempts to ensnare her opponent(s) in a Crystal hold, binding their legs in place and rendering the target immobile.
    • Diamond Cuffs- Amy sends a Crystal spell at her opponents limbs, hoping to bind them together or to the targets’ side, rendering the opponent useless in combat.

  • Crystalline Guns- Amy is capable of charging her normal gun attacks with her non-elemental manifestation of Crystal magic.

    • Diamond Speargun- After charging Crystal magic into her guns, she can release a long, deadly Crystal spear capable of piercing through thick armor.
    • Obsidian Helix- Charging Crystal magic into her guns, she fires a single Crystal bullet from each. However, once out of the barrel, each Crystal splits into three bullets, each circling each other in a helix formation for a drill-like attack.
    • Amythest Rocket- Charging Crystal magic into her guns, she puts them together and releases a single large crystal which explodes on contact into tiny, piercing fragments.

  • Guns of Purity- Amy has access to offensive White Magic, which she channels through her weapons.
    • Diaga Blast- Like Holy, a form of Light magic, but it can only effect darkness-based creatures. Amy can use this by itself, or fuse it with her bullets. Will upgrade in strength with additional levels.
    • Dia Drain- Similar in origin to the Diaga Blast; however, unlike the previous attack, the Dia Drain acts as a status effect. Its Light acts as a Poison for dark creatures, weakening them over time. Can only affect Darkness-based entities. Dia Drain may be canceled by a type of Darkness-Regen or, oddly enough, Bio. Lasts 3 turns if effective.
    • Dispelling Shot- Amy is capable of charging her bullets with Dispel, removing a status enhancement with every successful hit.
    • Piercing Horn- By combining her Holy magic with Unicorn's own magic, Amy can empower her bullets with Deprotect or Deshell.
    • Enchanting Bolt- By combining her Holy magic with Unicorn's own magic, Amy can empower her bullets with Charm.
    • Divine Shot- Much like the Dia Blast; however, it can affect anyone, even if they do not originate or take power from the Darkness.


Support Abilities:
  • Invisibility- (Special Ability) Amy can become entirely invisible at will. Her shadow is no longer visible, but she is not immune to magical sensing.
  • Crystal Arts- Due to her lack of element, Amy’s magic manifests itself in the form of Crystal magic.
    • Diamond Barrier- Amy can summon forth a wall or shield of Crystal magic to protect herself or other allies from attacks. [Most recently learned]
    • Crystal Armor- Amy can coat herself in a thin, durable layer of Crystal that bends to her will. It does not restrict movement, and absorbs half of any damage dealt to her for three turns.
    • Blinding Refraction- Amy can coat herself with an extremely thin layer of Crystal. The Crystal does not absorb any damage, but in the light, has a constant chance of blinding or stunning any opponent that attempts to look at her.
    • Topaz Eyes- Amy can create hovering Crystals that act as her eyes. She can only use a number of crystals in this way even to her level. Doing so replaces her eyesight. However, she can chose to use one or two less than the maximum to retain eyesight in one or both eyes.

  • White Magic- Amy has access to supportive White Magic.
    • Cure/Cura/Curaga- Amy is capable of using pure healing magic of various levels, both on specific targets and small areas.
    • Regen- Amy is capable of enchanting herself or an ally with Regen, which slowly but constantly regenerates lost health over the course of three posts.
    • Protect/Protera/Protega/Proteja- Amy envelopes her target in a protective aura that increases Guard Strength by 4/6/8/10.
    • Shell/Shellera/Shellega/Shelleja- Amy envelopes her target in a protective aura that that increases Magic Defense by 4/6/8/10.
    • Wall- Amy can combine Protect and Shell into a single spell, granting the target both status ailments simultaneously.
    • Reflect/Refleja- Amy can enchant a target with an aura that reflects all magic cast upon them. At its highest level, the reflective aura will allow Amy's allies to cast through it.
    • Esuna- Amy can cleanse the body of physical and magical impurities. At later levels, she can do this to multiple people at once.
    • Life/Arise- Amy can revive a fallen party member to half/full[ health. Costs a large portion of MP.
    • Mystery of the Unicorn- Amy can enchant a target with Blink, increasing their Evasive Reflexes by 1.5x.
    • Swiftness of the Unicorn- By combining her White Magic with some of Unicorn's magic, Amy is capable of enchanting an ally with Haste.
    • Purity of the Unicorn- By combining her White Magic with some of Unicorn's magic, Amy is capable of enchanting an ally with Veil.

  • Guns of Purity- Amy is capable of channeling certain supportive White Magic spells through her bullets.
    • Vitality Shot- Amy is capable of charging her bullets with healing magic. However, she cannot use her highest-known level of Cure due to the speed in which the spell is cast.
    • Cleansing Shot- Amy is capable of charging her bullets with Esuna magic. However, due to the speed of the casting, the Esuna will only remove one status, whichever happens to be the most prominent status ailment.

Passive Abilities:
  • Unicorn's Protection- A unicorn's horn can purify any poison, thus, Amy is immune to poison and toxic.


Limits:
  • [Level 1] Fresh Start- An explosion of White Magic that heals any nearby allies for [15% x Level] and wipes status ailments away.
  • [Level 2] Crystal Rain- The entire battle field is assaulted by thousands of raindrop sized razor sharp crystals falling from above. Does not harm allies.
  • [Level 3] Unicorn's Gift- Amy's Magic Strength is permanently increased by one, even being able to go over the normal limit.
  • [Level 4] Unicorn's Grace- Amy's Evasion is permanently increased by one, even being able to go over the normal limit.
  • [Level 5] Trigger Happy Level Ω- Amy's two guns combine into one, transforming into a large machine gun. Fires a continuous stream of bullets. Has a chance of causing Stun, Blind, and Bleed.
  • [Level 6] Pearl- Large pillars of light are summoned to strike enemies. They fall directly down on the opponents. Has a 50% chance of causing Death to Darkness-based enemies (Unversed, Heartless, Bosses if not Immune to Auto-KO).

Personality: Amy has a high opinion of herself because she's awesome. Responsibility is her favorite thing, as it gives her enormous freedom that she did not experience as a child, especially living in a strict Christian home. She makes her own decisions and doesn't blindly follow a crowd, is smart, and confident, if a bit arrogant, vain, and egocentric.

She doesn't like to be anywhere, or do anything, where she doesn't know at least the basics of what she's doing or what she's supposed to do. She likes to be prepared, rather than improvise; however, should the need arise, she's very good at improvising, it being a key part of her job on earth.

Amy is small, and petite, and is a bit defensive because of it. Otherwise, she's quite the comedian. She likes to make stupid little puns, when the opportunity presents itself, and smile and laugh and have fun. Her sense of humor might take some getting used to, as she tends to call her team mates her "minions" or "henchmen."

She's extremely in love with her husband, who makes her life complete in every way, and is the most amazing and lovely human being on the now destroyed Earth.

A mass of energy is built up and a large Spell Grid branches out from Kyla at the epicenter. (Pattern resembles similar likenesses to the Tree of Life or Tree of Sephiroth.) From the patterned circles and junctions, a wide-spread magic assault is launched at multiple targets. With Kyla alone, there are only 5 projectiles. Allies can launch their own magic into the grid, however, spawning more grid-junctions and increasing the projectile count. One (1) ally spell adds three (3) projectiles of equal strength, each retaining their own element. The only limit to the spell-grid is personal mana cost; all mana cost is split evenly amongst Kyla and the people who add in, so of 3 projectiles, Kyla pays half the cost and the caster pays half the cost. [ Group Spell; Multi-Target Multi-Projectile ]

Galiant: The Good Fairies (Merry Weather Preffered)

Appearance At first glance shion is not what you’d expect from a “knight – in – training”. Small and petite, pale with dark circles under her eyes- shion looks, rather sickly in fact to behold. The only telltale sign of her extensive training is in the muscle tone in her arms and legs. Shion uses her small stature to her advantage, winding her way around her targets but it’s clear she could not endure very much damage if actually caught. She is rarely seen wearing anything other than befitting the dress code with some pieces of armor. Shion wears her hair back in small loose twin braids.
Height: 5ft
Weight: 110
Hair: semi long past shoulders In a soft white hue.
Eyes: Brown
Skin: Originally darker due to nationality but paler then normal.
Build/Body Type: Thin but built due to extensive training.

Personality:
If you could summarize Shion in one word, that would be “protective”. A true embodiment of what you’d expect of a guardian type of person. Shion is very attentive to her peers and protective of those who are in need. It’ is uncertain where she developed this complex from, but Shion takes it upon herself to be personally responsible for the common man’s safety if it is within her power to take action. Some say she walks in the footsteps of her grandfather a renown knight from her home town-but she claims her family has no influence over her decision to study the art of combat, only her single minded desire to be the – “ The ward that stands in the way of the weak and the evil.”
While Shion is a bit of a busybody she isn’t above having fun. If you don’t want to spar, she likes to go for walks outside, and enjoys it with a fervor that seems strange- like every time is the first time she’s seen the outside world. Coming from the country you’d imagine she’d be used to such exploration.
Likes: Fish ( she keeps a small glass bowl with a beta), Fairy tale books, swords- as in she takes a particular interest in how certain ones are made and approaches each kind like examining the way a person thinks-“ Rapiers are no-nonsense but not without grace, don’t you think?”
Dislikes: Needless violence. While Shion fights herself- she does so with the attitude she has no other choice left. Near sightedness, a lot of the troubles of the world Shion think could be solves if people can simply see beyond what’s in front of them, if someone is complaining about something very simple and miniscule against the grand scale of bigger things in the world, she simply will not care. So don’t complain to her that you have too much homework. Clutter. While Shion isn’t not THE CLEANEST person in the world, she does like to keep what she needs and nothing more in her living space except for those small eco bottle and her pet fish.
And finally Pears: there’s no really good particular reason why she dislikes them- maybe the mushiness, the taste, but SHE HATES PEARS.
Fears: Succumbing to something she will not say. Whatever it is, she claims it is why her hair went grey. That’s all she’ll tell you.
Weapon: Twin Rapiers.
Abilities:

  • High Jump – Massive leaps reaching high altitudes.
  • Acute Accuracy – Once scan is established Shion will not lose sight of her target and most likely her specific hits WILL land correctly. In conjunction with Flurry of Blows this is deadly combo.
  • Scan – After a moment’s time to survey the enemy Shion can acquire a fairly accurate assessment of weaknesses, strengths and weak points of a target. This assessment become more in-depth after a full rotation observation of the target and the first hand to hand combat. (This is limited to things readable on the surface from the perspective of a warriors skills of observation and sensory. This however will not reveal hidden skills, like if the character knows specific spells. )
  • Flurry of Blows – Building up a peak of stamina to spend, Shion will deliver an assault of blows in rapid succession to her target.
  • Superior Dodging – rolling, jumping, crouching, ect- Shion is determined to not be hit and will use every motion, trick and her smaller statue to secure the best evade possible.
  • Elemental Blade Shift. ( Once per encounter Shion can activate one elemental rune on her sword. This elemental cannot be changed until the battle is over and cannot be deactivated to become neutral again-The encounter MUST be over first before it can be reset.)

Spells:

  • Arcane Platforms – Metaphysical platforms are summoned up out of thin air for Shion to use to maneuver at a full 3 dimensional range of motion around the battle field. She uses her jump to gain various levels of height and angles to drop in on the enemy.
  • Multitude of Phantasmal Blades – Within the flurry of her cape she summons several duplicates of her rapiers. Grabbing these she can launch them at enemies where upon impact they will disappear, or instead control them in a whirlwind sword dance around her body for a more defensive/offensive attack if she is surrounded.
  • Double Figure – While charging full speed or evading her figure can blur and seem to be in multiple places and positions at once making ti harder for the enemy to land a correct hit.
  • Haste – Magic, increases speed by 3 for 5 posts.
  • Cure – Heal minor injuries.
  • Repulse- (Non-elemental/ or the selected element from the predetermined setting of the blade) Carving a rune into the ground, Shion flips backwards, digs her sword tips into the ground and slashing them outwards creating a force repulse to push back oncoming targets directly ahead of her.

Strengths: Agility, speed, attack and accuracy. Shion is all about zeroing in on her target, making the quickest slash finish and getting out just as quickly. A style more suited to an assassin- had she not taken the gaurdian’s approach, attacking directly instead of from behind – in order to draw the targets attention and fire.
Weaknesses: Low stamina and endurance. As a tradeoff for her strengths she has one fatal flaw and that is her physical endurance and defense. It’s believed beneath the speed is a fragile body, and if caught Shion cannot endure much damage before rendered unconscious. Also the level of physical strain she does endure to keep her speed and dodge perfect is extremely taxing and so Shion become easily tried after the heat of battle passes. She will often retire to her room after longer training, or sit aside to rest after a battle.

Bio: Shion arrives at the academy with a mission in mind. Originally from the Enchanted Dominion (Sleeping Beauty’s homeworld) Shion grew up in the city capitol as a child of one of the knights in the kingdoms service. While it was her grandfather who made a name for himself for his skills, his son who took on after him was not as successful, contracting an illness which rid him of his strength. With no son to claim his role, eyes turned away and took no notice of the grand daughter who began to show great promise in combat. It is rumored her interest flared into passion after the events concerning the kingdom's take over took place when she was a child.

Shion doesn’t talk much about what happened but since that day she began to pursue the role of being a knight despite the social norm of her country. This drew in the attention of the The Good Fairies. Discovering the girl fending off the enemy behind the courtyard, it was Merry Weather who sympathized with Shion’s desires and together with her sisters they spirited her away with their magic, having seen potencial in her heart- and a hope for the future.
With heavy hearts her parents looked on as their daughter disappeared into the night beyond the bounderies of their world, praying she could outrun not just the choas and darkness but something else entirely.

From then on until she came of age Shion grew up in traverse town. The faries encouraged her to look to the Kingdom Academy for the sake of her country and for a way to become a protector of the realm.
Since her arrival, Shion is known to be a very deligent and studious person- moving up the ranks quickly.

Determined to become a knight to protect those who cannot do so themselves, while she still has the strength to do so- there is a sense of urgency and race against time with this girl and it is this which drew the three fairies to come together around her on her journey, offering their aid and support whenever she needs them. To which Shion is eternally grateful and swears she will not disappoint their hopes in her.

Appearance “What is a child doing here???”
Cloe is not a child despite appearances, and she’s been roughly this stature and size for over 10 years since her discovery in the Dwarf Woodlands realm. Cloe is strangely ethereal in appearance, dainty and small- her hair moves unusually with a weightless bounce when he walks, at any moment it appears she could just float away like a lil dandelion puff.
Height: 4’3
Weight: 50pnds - weightless
Hair: Long, seemignly untempt and wild- but not in an unpleasent way- this mass of growing lengths is white til it reaches the tips and takes on a more greenish hue giving the resemblances of sprouting shoots then real hair.
Eyes: Deep Green.
Skin: Pale- tinted green sheen at times.
Build/Body Type: Tiny, thin and willowy.

Personality: Cloe at the time being seems very naïve and innocent but there is a hint of something older, bigger and more complex beneath the veil of the first impression she gives you. She’s knowledgable on an instinctive level of the ways of the living world and makes no effort to hide what she knows when something is important. If she senses something is wrong she won’t hesitate to tell someone. Overall she has a very nurturing persona reflective of her exposure to Snow white’s influence, and her attentive nature has only grown since then, developing into a desire to ‘become more’- in what way has yet to be seen and she seeks the answer at the Academy in the experiences she hopes to have with more people.
Likes: To collect big bottles of water, sunbathing, running around barefoot ( she doesn’t like wearing shoes very much), spending time in the apothecary.
Dislikes: Fire, pollution and decay-rot. Shoes- she prefers to run around without them and will often be in trouble for not wearing them indoors. Senseless destruction-Like seeing plants being trampled or harms without good reason. Short sightedness for convenience= Sloth.
Fears: Decay.
Utilities: Bag of seeds, Potions bottles.

  • Sprout Wings: Cloe’s body sprouts leafy wing appendages, they give off a pollen/aura that casts various effects on the party/ or when wrapped around her body they provide her last line of defense behind her barriers. (Prerequisite to Aura Mist/ Curaza Group cast/ Or Magic defense Maxed ( vulnerable to fire).
  • Cure: Small healing for minor injuries + removal of 1 status ailment.
  • Cura: Normal level healing for basic injuries.+removal of 2 status ailments.
  • Curaga: Significant Healing for serious injuries, in combination with Sprout Wings it can be cast on whole party. + removal of 3 status ailments.
  • Aloes Wall: Cloe’s main mode for defense and battle/support. Unlike the spells name this is a literal construct that gets in-between the attacker and defender to cancel out or take the brunt of the blow. This shield can take on various shapes and sizes to provide superior cover from singular to the full party.

Strengths: Superior Magical Defense, Natural/Environmental evade in specific battlefields.
Weaknesses: She’s vulnerable to Fire and her Physical Defence is very low.

Bio: Her little planet, no bigger than a moon was inhabited by only a few tribes of people. They had little to no defense against the oncoming darkness that quickly blocked out the sun and killed the world tree that sustained their home. Before the last breath of life was snuffed out, from within the roots a small light took to the air and drifted away- this last descendant of the Emerald Moon, this is the seed of their world and with her goes the hopes for a new beginning someday when the tides turn.
Cloe landed in the Dwarf Woods 10 years ago before the darkness caught up with her. Taken under the caring wing of Snow white the child returned the princesses kindness and against the assailent enemy Cloes magical potential surfaced. Ultimately the seedling child was responsible for their escape. As time passed in Traverse Town her magical capabilities continued to grow in contrast to her form. Once she surpassed what anyone could teach her Cloe was sent to the Academy to continue her progression.

Dylan is tall (for his age) and lanky, with fair, barely tanned skin, brown eyes, and long green hair. He usually keeps it out of his eyes with his bandanna, and tied up loosely in the back with a tiny band. He wears rags made from stitching together several random-colored pieces of cloth he has found over the years - some of them new, and some of them ancient and faded - giving him an odd appearance; some people tend to call him Scarecrow, claiming he is "all rags and straw". The only piece of clothing he owns which is not ragged and makeshift, is his red and black capelet, which was a gift from his surrogate mother. These clothes are very thin layers, made for easy breathing, and the pants have several pockets for storing small fruit and useful things he "finds". He also wears a small brown bag strapped to his waist, which he uses to hold his harmonica, among other things. He wears nothing on his feet, at least when he can help it.

Personality: Dylan likes to be cheerful, even though he's seen quite a many bad times. He can get stuck in a rut just like everyone else, but he prefers to stay in a happy mood. No matter the emotion at the time, however, he'll always have a song to match it. He always says that, as long as he's got music to keep him company... and his best friend Alan, of course... he'll be able to make it through anything.
Despite being a common, pick-pocketing street urchin, Dylan considers himself a "true gentleman", and acts accordingly; he is courteous, and acts in a respectable manner, especially towards ladies, as he feels it is his duty to be chivalrous in an otherwise barbaric world.
He doesn't like to see people in trouble or depressed, and he'll always do his best to help them out if he can. Many times, the solution will be playing a song on his lute or harmonica.

Bio: Dylan was born in the world of Nottingham, and orphaned when he was still hardly able to speak. He spent most of his younger days living on the streets, scavenging for whatever food and clothing he could find. Whenever he got in trouble, he would run to the river as fast as he could, and come back the next day. He learned to pick pockets at an early age, but one day, he got caught by a young peasant woman. Having no children of her own, due to a physical inability, she took him in and raised him as her own son. She taught him how to act like a gentleman, how to sew, sing, play instruments, and even to fix them. She gave him a harmonica on his seventh birthday, and a lute on his eighth. Unfortunately, she was imprisoned unjustfully soon after that, giving herself up so that he could escape. He fled into Sherwood Forest, and made friends with the animals there, but never saw his surrogate mother again.

He resigned to spending the rest of his days in the forest, playing music with his best friend and mentor Alan A. Dale, and hoped to one day, if he ever acquired enough skill, free his "mother" from jail. Before this could happen, however, the War came to Nottingham. There were many people lost, and the land was always under attack. Dylan and Alan managed to escape, and wound up in Traverse Town, though they couldn't figure out how. They settled down in that town, living on the streets and playing songs for money, until one day...

He heard people speaking of some sort of "Academy", where people tempered their skills and mastered combat, or something to that degree. He didn't hear many details beyond that, but decided to check it out. After learning more of the Academy, he quickly made up his mind, and he and Alan hitched a ride on a Gummi Ship as soon as possible. Perhaps, after studying at this Academy, he could find a way to reclaim his homeland, and finally, finally see his mother once more.

I know I called everything good before, but that was before KA blew up into this barely recognizable monster of an RP. And I totally blame Kyle and his 85 bajillion characters for this even though it was my own silly fault. xd Can we add a distance limit on the spells? With Dylan being a student, 'specially a First Year, being able to heal or buff everyone would be a bit much right now. We can up the limits as he moves on to later years, and remove 'em completely once he graduates the Academy, but for right now can we put it so he can heal/restore MP/speed boost all allies in a given radius? 10-15 feet should be good for a first year, and we can either bump it up by 10/15 each successive year, or double it each successive year, either/or, up to you. n_n

I'm trying to put reasonable limits on things partially because of the afore-mentioned RP complication asplosion, but also because I'm planning some future battles that will literally span miles, so I'm sure you see the need for distance limits at the very least. o.o
