Hey.
I've been thinking of the Hogwarts Monthly. What if each of the houses could do their own mini-paper every half-month or something? You know...the Griffindor Pride and the Ravenclaw Flyer...Nothing elaborate...Voluntary articles mostly, with one full-time editor and a couple of normal staff in case things get low. Artwork, puzzles, and riddles provided by the members of that house. They could each be posted in their own seperate "House Paper archives" or combined into a school-wide thing.
I know that KT is in charge of that, but just while she's away perhaps. It may not even get off the ground, but I'd like to try, personally.

That's a great future idea. HOwever Angil and KT usually worked on the monthly so I'd say ask them about it

I think the Great Hall "Sleep-out" would work out okay. It could be fun; magic to grow trees and moss and grass, and the ceiling is already enchanted, and some bonfires to sit around and tell camp stories and/or exchange tales of term (ah, the horrors of the twelve-foot essays!) and perhaps to introduce the muggle custom of s'mores.
Whatever we do, I'm willing to compose the descriptive paragraphs if they are needed. It'll give me some practice in writing setting and tone, I think, and I can use all the practice I get.

Nevermind.
Online events are hard. But, a sleep thing could be cool... we did something like that in my AP biology class in high school... slept outside on the football field with tents and a bonfire... it was kinda cool.

It's an interesting idea Alutian, but I think what most of us want to know is if we're doing any contest or anything invovling prizes. pirate (Hey, someone was going to say it sooner or later and for once it wasn't a Slytherin. wink )
Art contest?
Trivia?
Avi?
Who can make their houses look the most...uh, Gryf/R/Puffie/Sly- ish, most like Hogwarts, Forbidden Forest?
I don't know I just came up with that last idea right now. xp

Art Contest and House Contest sound like things we haven't done before. We did trivia recently, but we could treat that as a small-scale test run and do a bigger Trivia (with places and things as well as people) this time.

Well that could be one part. The slumber party could be the main thread, but what about for the non artists?
I like the artist one though. Have 3 categories (to enter send X sum) the winner in each category gets a donation. So now we only need something for the nonartists like myself
