"Yaaay..." Alicia muttered sarcastically under her breath. She turned to Gabriel, and sighed loudly. "Whatever happens, I'm with you!" she said. "They wont pull you away this time!" suddenly she froze. Two words from that meeting all those years ago rang through her head, making her fully realize everything about the meeting with Lady Naria.

Alicia felt her mouth turn into a thin line. She coughed lightly, and realized how fake it sounded. "Right. So, Joey, just stick by me, okay? I'll get you home safely." she smiled, trying not to seem worried or uncertain.

As she walked, Alicia was buried in her thoughts. She had no idea as to whether she should tell Gabriel her concern. He was the Elvin prince! That was a huge problem. The Evlen elders would be furious with him upon his arrival, and to see, 'that human child' with him, would not prove to be good. She stared down at her feet, watching them walk, wondering if there was something she could do. She couldn't even speak Elvish! Her mother knew how, though... she had never bothered to teach her. Alicia let out a small sigh.
