Steamgeek ((Thanks, care to straighten out my confusion? Have I just been replaced by a robot? o.O )) ((Emelia's trying to follow Abigail's orders, keeping Nysth held down and distracting him so Abigail can work. The way I saw it, Abigail is looking him over and trying to work on him, he keeps trying to pull his own bullets out, Emelia is holding him down by the shoulders, hoping the doctor puts him out or works on him soon or something, so long as he doesn't touch her with his bloody hands again. He's passed out now, I believe; it's a little weird. Read as: we were both on and still playing when we should have waited for you to get back on and reply. sad ))

((Ahh I'm so confused but yeah, that's the one I was talking about. He's working below deck too? Ok, I think I know where everyone is now. Hmmmm.))
Abigail turned her back, pouring antiseptic into a pan and letting her equipment soak. She heard Nysth ranting madly and regretted putting Emelia in such a position. When the fellow began to claw at himself, Abigail went for the morphine. She doubted he would take kindly to being knocked out for the procedure but she really couldn't have him thrashing about like a land-locked fish, he only needed to relax. Pulling the fluid up the needle, she turned quickly only to find a strange little something hovering about Nysth.
"What in God's.." The little bugger didn't seem to be harming him and if it wasn't killing Nysth, Abigail didn't have time to worry about it.
Rushing forward, she struck vein. Not waiting for the drug to kick in, Abigail grabbed what she needed and set about going after the first embedded bullet. Looking over at the spider...thing, she raised an eyebrow and opted not to bother asking until Nysth was more stable. Her attention turned back down but she spoke up to the lady across the table.
"You're doing marvelously Emelia, what a wonderfully cool head you've got there. You shouldn't have to restrain him much more, the drug should take care of that but if you don't mind placing one hand there," She pointed with the blunt of her scalpel to an unattended wound, covered with gauze. "And another on his arm or wherever would be more comforting to him; you would be an absolute saint."

Stea buzzed when he realized as been noticed. The girl, however, paid him no heed so Stea went back to cleaning the wound he was dealing with. After the metal peices had been removed, he grabbed a needle and thread and swiftly starting stitching the wound up, having gotten much practice with stitching from when Zee used to be a boy, running around and falling.

the drug took immediate affect being in his weakend state, he laid a hand over the metal patch on his chest and seemed to paw at it repeatedly he was there but the lights werent on and he mumbled uncontrolably.
"13...project...pro...ject, 13 13 13...no!! No more tests!! I wont let you play around with me anymore!!!"
he was spilling some of the beans, not giving it all away it seemed in his weakend state that certain events from his past were shining through and he let out a grunt as the bullets were removed.

Every couple minutes or so, Abigail's pliers would come up with a bullet or stray metallic object and they would be followed by a quiet "ping" as they landed in a nearby pan. She eyed the little bot as it expertly sewed cleaned wounds and grinned behind her mask. Though she might not have understood how such creatures operated -the work of mechanics and their creations both confused and astounded her- it certainly made its point that healing was the primary objective here. Returning her gaze to the last bullet, she sunk her fingers and their tools into Nysth's wounds one last time. When the final bullet came out, she moved her hands out of the way so that the spider-creature could sew up the rest. They moved instead to what had already been finished and began to dress the wounds.

Stae buzzed wearily, not sure wither to make contact with the female. Zee never did, and they did share one soul and one mind, after all. Zee was safe, hopefully, with the vampire on the balloon. Stea hurriedly scampered over the man's body, his many long legs sewing up all the wounds, dabbing at them with the antispectice fluid, the steam from his engine slowly twirling above him with how hard he was working, making sure each stitch was perfectly sewed in.

as the good doctor did finish he got up slowly, the morphine making him numb all over but not in a state where he simply did not work, he got up slowly and looked around, his senses slowly coming back to him his normal neutral looking face came back and he pressed a button on his communicator, the screen over his eyes scrolling with info, he walked over to the doctor
"Thanks a bundle doc i really owe you one" he turned to emelia with the small spider steambot on his chest still working "And you, i deeply apoligize that you had to see and undergo all this and i hope you can forgive and foreget" he grabbed his bloodied shirt, it being the only one he had and put it on, grabbing the spiderbot thing and setting it on the table of tools giving it a pat, he turned to look at the both of them an aura of seriousness coming about him
"I....didn't say anything out of the ordinary....right?"

Zee felt a cold shudder run through him. Someone had touched Stae.
---
Stae buzzed angrily when he was removed, but the man was in enough pain and did not deserve a bite. Stea looked around him, at the tools on the table. What he needed now was water in his engine. The steam had all burned up, mostly, due the the strenuous act of scaling the woudned man and fixing him up. The spider settled down, to weary to move, and listened intently on the converstation. He had liked to doctor girl. They both seemed friendly enough.

Abigail pushed his shoulder, forcing him to sit back on the table.
"Not at all, sir. Your story about seducing the Indian princess was perfectly normal." She smirked a little behind her mask and pulled out a roll of bandages. "But I don't quite recall saying you were finished. Unless you want these kind folks' work to go to waste- Miss Emelia's courage and patience and..." She nodded to the little bot. "that fellow's fine medical prowess."
She motioned for him to reopen his shirt and once open, she set to wrapping the bandage around his torso. As she did, she looked down at the spider and pulled her mask down with one hand.
"As for you little thing, where on earth do I begin...?"

All Stea could do in response was buzz, his water levels running dangerously low. He lifted one long leg and pointed up to the skies above the basement thing they were in. His other half's balloon was on fire and was in sure danger. There was a vampire with him, however, and Stae prayed that Zee would be alright. He couldn't talk, being made of gears and water. His leg fell and he plopped down on his belly, not having the strength to stand, some of the man's blood still on the tip of his legs.
---
"Goddamn, Stea..." Zee thought, suddenly very ill and tired. When the spider was in pain or was ailing, so was his creator. They shared a soul. I should have taught you how to talk so you could ask for some goddamn water."

"Well, i highly doubt that could be true Ma'am as i have never met any royalty" he let the doctor finish before calmly closing his shirt again and asked "Am i fit to work doc?"

Abigail cinched the bandages and removed her gloves. Standing upright she tossed her mask, gloves and apron into the same hamper she'd used earlier.
"No need to wear those bloody things anymore, miss. Take a couple more cloths if you like for, well, that." She made a gesture on her cheek to emphasize what she was talking about. Crossing her arms she raised her own eyebrow at Nysth. "Really now, would you listen to me if I said not to work? Your legs could be broken and you'd come to me for a cotton ball to make it better then go play on a pogo stick. You'll be fine so long as you try not to strain yourself. You've been in this medbay far too often in the course of a single day and stitches are a terrible pain to rework."
She looked down in time to see the spider point upward. Cocking her head, she reached a hand down towards it. She offered her palm for it to hop aboard so that she could get a better idea of what it may need. Poor thing looked like it was failing fast.
"C'mon then, hop on." She lay a cloth down so that it would not slip on the blood if it chose to move.

Stea hesitate. Both him and his master were solitary people. They had been flying that balloon alone for at least a year now, and had not needed anyone else. Stea pulled back, but he felt Zee's pain as well, and knew he had to help his friend. He managed to stumbled forward into the extended palm, buzzing softly. He roleldover, his leg in the air. On his belly was a little door where the water he burned for steam was stored. It was, however, empty. Usually he could recycle the water, but he was working so hard to help the man that he hadn't thought about conserving that.
He squirmed and struggled, trying to get the girl to look into the hatch, his buzzing already dying out.
---
"Come ON, Stea..." Zee said ,the fire above his head growing as he sank to the floor, harshly affected by Stae's illeness.
