"You need a Thunderbadge," Kasiya said almost automatically. "You can win it from Lt. Surge in Vermilion City." After countless times of sitting in the gym and watching Lt. Surge hand them out and explain what they did, he'd kill her if she'd fogotten. "Why, do you have an HM 02?" It suddenly occured to her that she'd have to battle him soon enough too.

"Yes," Nina replied. "I've had this since I came to Kanto for the first time, actually. However, with no flying Pokemon..." Nina's voice trailed off, allowing Kasiya to fill in the blanks.

"Can I ask a favor?" Kasiya asked, as they headed down the street. "When Fang evolves, can I borrow it? He'll be able to fly me around just like Mihoshi will. It's just a matter of time for them now. I guess only they know when they'll reach their final forms, huh?"

Nina smiled. "You're more than welcome to it, Kasiya." She scratched Mihoshi's head, who let out a short trill. "I'll love you no matter whether or not you decide to evolve," she said to her Pokemon with a smile.
Sabrina smiled as well. "It's somewhat rare to find Trainers actually care for their Pokemon as you two do." She chuckled a little.

"Then these two should have no problems evolving," Kasiya grinned. "I know they both need a deep bond with us in order to evolve. And thanks for letting me use the HM," she smiled. "Although, battling Lt. Surge will be hard on both of us," she sighed. Seeing Nina's odd glance, she quickly corrected herself. "I mean Surge and me," she laughed. "He's been like a dad to me for so many years. It will be odd being the challenger for once and not a spectator." She sighed, and felt her hand go to the lighting shaped pendand around her neck. "That's another battle though," she smiled. "Right now we should focus on this one."

"Don't worry," Nina said. "I believe that you'll do really great. With five Pokemon at your disposal and a great bond with all-- er. With most of them, you should have little problems."
Sabrina agreed. "It almost worries me. If you continue to improve, you should be able to best me with little problems." She chuckled a little bit.

Kasiya smiled again. "That gives me hope, Sabrina," she laughed. "I do look forward to that day. And don't worry about Seto," she said, pointing to his Pokeball. "He's wearing a Soothe Bell. It should help him be able to trust me and his teammates a little bit better." She looked over at the gym, and took a deep breath. Excitement flittered through her stomach and heart - she was sure she'd be nervous, but not this time. "I think I'm ready to do this," she said, her voice confident.

((I'm fading fast, guys - gonna have to head to bed now. So sorry to cut out before the gym battle, but i'll most likely dream about it and then end up writing it as soon as I wake up in the morning. lol ))

"Yeah, I guess you're right." She replied. She went over to pick up Thunder and scratched him under the chin too. Eevee was near her feet, nuzzling them. "Well, how can I be mad when I've got the best friends ever?" She looked at Thunder and Eevee, and then at Weed, Phoenix, and Tony and smiled.

After sitting outside the Pokmon Center in Viridian City for a while waiting for Bryn to appear, Jenna gave up. She was sick of this little town and it's attitude problem. Her pride still smarting from her treatment in the Pokemart, she went into the Pokecenter, packed up her things and made for the road to Pewter City. Maybe there would be some trainers there who would talk to her about their Pokemon...Sighing and lonely, she let her two pokemon stay out of their balls for a while and she took somfort in their presence as they walked beside her.
((now I just have to remember how to get to Pewter city from Viridian...*goes to look it up*))
