You're worthy.

Not as worthy as me, but you're worthy.

I'm sure your worthy. From what I can see, at least...

And if its any consilation, I think I'm still on the "back of the member list, where no body knows your name (yes, that is a Cheers reference)"...hehehe...yeah sweatdrop

Meh... Lazy RP died. x3; I don't know if I'll try and start it up again... might do a retcon in the future, start it anew. But for now, I'm satisfied to leave it where it is and focus on my next roleplaying project. 3nodding Once I catch up with all my B/C-P's, that is... I have Fenrir's child quest to do, once the current roleplay with him is wrapped up. @_@;

It hasn't died! crying

I think every one is just waiting for some one to post some thing, some where in there. =/

And 2k style, I read some of your post in Urban Arcana. And I have no idea what you're talking about; why do you think you're bad? I think your RP is worthy of being called Advanced Literate. Silly. pirate

Dorobo hasn't been around, I think that's why. And I'd join in now if I knew whether anyone would EVER make it to the library, or if they're going to turn back, or what.

Anyway.

I think that a person's RPing ability has little to do with his or her verbosity. Sorry, Jar, but "a 5-page profile" does not impress me. A "very well written five paragraph profile" does. I'd rather see a concentrated or qualitative effort than a broad or quantitative one. Shorter posts don't bother me at all; in fact, often I find them preferable.

If it keeps me entertained and I don't skip over any of a massive post, then that's fine; but if it could say the same thing just as well with half a page less, that's better. RPing should not be a drawn-out chore for anyone involved, be they the writers, the readers, or the lurkers, and part of that fun is not having to sift through meaningless words in order to find something of relevance, or to respond to.

I treat RPing like poetry or a short story, in the sense that you don't get much space (or you shouldn't) to get your point across. Every word has to cover for the five others that aren't there with it.

And don't get me started on some of the silly grammar rules we have. "Never split infinitives"... Ha! It can be a great tool to change the emphasis of a sentence.

Anyway, yeah. I kinda... wrote about this once. Along with an RP I started for intermediate/advanced RPers with a line limit of 11. It went pretty well.

She hasn't! I miss her. =(

And once she comes back, Arrien, your RP will pick back up I think.

Of course, I see a possibility for Val or JarJar to post, as well.

And I could always enter. But I would prefer to do it while giving Royce a bit of a personality expo (kinda like how Val did his character).

I can't do naything until Indy or someone else posts.

My limit is half a page. Roleplaying is like writing a book or a story. If Shazzer could join at my place, I could just leave Indy and continue with roleplaying.

Shazzer, there's only so much that you can put into the other categories.

And on that note. I'm semi-back. I can't promise posts that are WAY overdue tonight. The whole bipolar gf thing is still an issue. But she's moving home with her mum for a while, hopefully she can get everything back into order.

I can't figure out if my girlfriend is bipolar or not. Her ex says she is... she stabbed him... as a joke, but good thing that he had his necklace with an amulet on...

I love her so. heart

Dorobo, aren't you a chickie?

Really? You think so? redface ...I don't mean to clutter up this thread with my insecurities regarding my literacy, but I just couldn't help but to express my sentiments. I sort of posted my introduction half heartedly, since I didn't really have any idea as to what I was doing...and then once finished, realized that everyone else here seems to be the kind that posts page long posts and, in short, makes people such as myself very self conscious.. sweatdrop

I agree with Shazzer. In BBK, Jar's is the only profile I haven't read, just because its length frustrates me. I mean, I'm sure it's good and all, but when it's that long...it's just...oh, I dunno. I just don't like uber long profiles. Shazzer's right.

And honestly, I really hate making -- and especially reading -- uber long posts. I've seen a lot of really long ones, and I can say in all honesty, that there is only one RPer whose REALLY REALLY long role play posts don't bore me: Progolo. I can read from start to finish, and then read it again because I liked it so much.
