Katherine nearly jumped out off her skin but then calmed as she turned with a sweet smile on her lips. "Sorry, sleep well?" Katherine asked thinking about how poorly she slept. It was like sleeping with a lion you knew the moment you fell asleep might wake and tear you to shreads.

"Yeah, of course. I think being there with you really helped." Alastor told her, though it still bothered him. He wanted to tell her something since he knew she was constantly afraid of him. "May I ask you a favor?" He asked, waiting for her to give him a confirmation before at least saying anything. "Well, I know our past... I know what has happened between us... so... that's all it is. You don't need to be afraid of me anymore. So please..."

"I don't mean to, I have been trying not to be... Its just well you know." She gave a light shrugg looking to her hands. It was habit it was in her nature. She was in end around him. "I just have to get used to you is all." She spoke simpley. Katherine looked back up takeing a deep breath.

"Yes, I know." Alastor said in a somewhat, almost depressed tone. Though he also thought to get back into the swing of waking up with another woman he loved. Almost like a habit, he poked around to her face to give her a kiss before he went to standing in front of her. "Katherine, there was something I wanted to help you with today. I wanted to help you train 'without' your powers in a sense. Meaning if someone managed to get one of those necklaces around your neck or if you run low on energy. Would you like to try?"

"I don't know if it is wise for us to spar but i wouldn't mind it. I would need to change. I am well trained without my powers." Which was the truth she killed that Assasin without them. He only had a open spot when she knew he was going to. She started to move away then.

Matachi and a few soldier entered through the main hall, they all look musky, dirty and tired as they walk through the door, no one carried a sword or weapon it seemed as they walked by Katherine all silent not saying a word. A few of them carried shovels some carried things of cloth.

"Okay then, well I know without your power and ability to heal, you're slightly... off." Alastor told her as he started to follow her. Then, he looked back to notice Matachi and the other soldiers and started to sigh. He was wondering what they were carrying shovels for. Were they burying the dead? Then there was that cloth. It was odd.

Katherine had stopped when he enterd. She watched them walk by. Katherine opened her mouth to say something to them then stoppped. She walked then back towards her rooms knowing Alastor was following. "I don't know anything more than you with that." Meaning the shovels and such.
Mel was comeing from her rooms.She was granted seprate ones from the men since she was a woman. At times she was gratful for that. She caught up with Matachi wondering what they were doing. "Are we feeling better this morning?"

Matachi didn't answer her as all the soldiers walked behind him towards the military wing. All of them were silent not one man made a sound, there were no reasons for talking from any of them as the faces of death filled their minds, the thing that stuck to all of them was a child they had found dead holding onto a wool doll in her arms even in death she clenched onto the doll. The father of that girl, being one of the men in that group, he held the doll in his hands as they walked past. Matachi had told him not too, but the man needed it, to ease the pain

Indeed, Alastor did follow her all the way to her rooms. Of course, he did assume they were burying the dead, someone had to. When they got to her room, he sat comfortably on her bed and waited on her. He just watched her carefully to see what she would choose, though no matter what it was, he always thought she made it look better.

Matachi gave the men a couple of minutes to clean off and put all their emotions behind their backs, for they had to do training today. He was going to select a new squad to fill the ranks of the forest archer section, he personally put on his forest archer uniform before leading the group of men, bows in hand, out to the training yard.

Katherine dressed in plain tan colored pants. She then put on a white shirt with a soft blue bodice. She changed in the other room and walked back into her bedroom. She smiled slightly. "Ready to get your butt kicked?" She said playfully.
Mel was angery, she had come to him in his hour of need and now he was ignoreing her. She walked back up and grabed at his arm. "What is this Matachi? Ignoreing me is not like you!"

Matachi shook his head as he pulled the face cloth up to his face as they walked towards the training fields "Today, that man." Matachi points at a man walking past with his head hanging low "Buried his last child." He says "All of these men put someone in the ground whether it be a mother, daughter, son, wife. Anyone.." Matachi says "We've all lost something."

When she came back out, he smiled lightly and grinned when she asked the question. "You think I'm going to be light on you now that we're togather?" He asked her in return. Though in truth, he wouldn't mean to hurt her. Sometimes he got carried away with just sparring. "I'll let the lady lead on to her own butt kicking." He said, standing at the door and waiting on her.

Katherine was never able to spar with Matachi, she was always worried she would hurt him. He was the same way. She wasn't worried about hurting Alastor and he probally wasn't either. It ws perfact. She noded some heading down to the training yards.
"A woman who is not even dead. Let them mourn in peace Matachi." She spoke in a low hiss so only they could hear her. "Your being ridculas."
