"Why am I here? I've been sent on a secret mission to kill my cousin in exchange for a place of power in the Lycan heirarchy." Kiran said, very seriously, although that only held so long. She couldn't talk about this without making it into something humorous, or she'd crack.

"The offer was ridiculous--kill family, or be killed. I refused and was branded a traitor just as Remus was. He's survived this long, I'd rather find him who already is marked than to run away, possibly bring the rest of the family under fire. And I know better than to lie to you, Quinn. I don't know what you are, but I know it's not something I want to mess with."

Quinn cracked up laughing because of how serious Kiran had been. It didn't suit her character at all. It was something that he hoped to see out of her more often.

"I'm Rith-Kiran, Kiran. My family is one constructed near completely with Telepaths. It's something I prefer not to use against people, but if I must I usually will." A sly smile crossed Quinn's face, "I asked a question and now it's your turn. A student must know their teacher in order to learn from them, as well as a teacher knowing their student in order to teach them."

Kiran rose an eyebrow, or at least attempted to. For a moment she was silent, trying to think of a suitable question, but only arriving at. "How do you know Remus?"

Troden smirked before saying, "Isabelle, you misunderstand me. I will destroy anyone who gets in my way. I wouldn't have told you that if I wanted you dead. I still care for you. I always will." the darkness in his eyes returned as he said, "Do you belive in what I say?"

Tien watched her go before saying, "How about we play this game later? I think we have a little tomb to find am I correct?"

"Remus and I met a few years ago." Quinn answered honestly, "The first time was before his political escapade. He was a rather pleasent person then, even if he was a bit hard to handle sometimes."

Quinn paused to think a bit, "I saw him again shortly after he was branded a traitor and began the flight for his life. I gave him a small amount of supplies for the road, just enough so that he could get by but not enough that I would be suspected of aiding him, and then he left. I ended up following him after some unforseen circumstances affected my life at home, and that's brought me here."

I need a good question now... Quinn thought to himself, then asked, "You said it was kill your family or be killed, correct? You are a skilled fighter, one that I doubt could be taken down so easily. What was the worry of being killed?"

Remus cocked his ears as the sound of battle reached them. He took the double bladed sword off his back where he now kept it ready for combat. "Now for the fun part."

Quinn's demenour changed slighly at the thought of his family, the real reason why he came to the Lotus, and what exactly had happened to them. It was not something that he spoke of often, and only to those that he felt he could trust. Could he trust Kiran? He wasn't sure yet. Yes, she was Remus's family, but sometimes that apple can fall a far distance from the tree.

"Lets just say, for the sake of simplicity," Quinn chose his words with caution, but tried not to make it obvious, "extenuating circumstances brought me here. A family issue, I suppose you could call it, although not the same form as yours or Remus's."

An odd silence filled the room after Quinn gave his answer. He could not think of much else to say, the thoughts of his family still running rampant in his head.

"I never..." Bell stopped herself from continuing the argument and took a deep breath of air, "I believe in what you say." She looked at Troden, "Maybe I am too weak." She mumbled to herself. "I'll... help you. In anyway necessary." Her vision rising as she spoke.

Jen was in the air by the time she had the thought of responding, "I believe we should go to Lina then. She is the one with the book and the knowledge, am I correct?"
