If they meet up in the forest, I may end up having to save him.

Nightmare folded his arms "well its true, the first time your son or daughter would forget to check their watch to see if it was time to come home from a friend's house, you'd have a hysterical fit about how they hate you and want to leave you." He groaned "I'm not one of your potted plants Ivy, their will be times when you don't know where I am and you can't bury me in the ground to keep an eye on me. Deal with it."

She shook her head and chuckled, rubbing the bridge of her nose. "You still think this is all about control. Eric, if you were to disappear randomly for several different bouts of time, what would expect your biological mother to do? How would you expect her to feel? Am I supposed to not worry about you because you're almost bullet-proof and can fly? That's one of the very reasons why I get worried. In all our time together, I never tried to chain you down or bury you in my garden. I pushed you out into the world. I told you to go to school, make friends, go into the world and enjoy your youth, and yet you think I'm trying to control you." She leaned back and closed her eyes. "You're wrong, I don't have to deal with it. I can't. I'm not built mentally for this sort of thing. I can't kill you, I can't manipulate you, I can't seduce you so I really don't know what to do with you. All I can do is just let you go. You have a life and it's not one I gave to you, so I don't own you. So be free and live your own life, but don't expect me not to care and not to hurt. I may not be the woman I used to be, but woman, human, or not, plant's have feelings too."

She rose out of her seat, smiling. "Ah, don't be so ridiculous Harvey. Every girl in Gotham use to dream of having either your child or Bruce's. Everyone but me." She gave an evil grin, making her way into the kitchen to fix herself a snack and make him a drink.
Me: *looks at Future Nightmare* I thought Edward was your fatherly figure? O.o

Hmmm Stray, I imagine that Edward gets killed by Harvey and that's how him and Ivy get back together.
