Right after she spoke a message from the castle came to Katherine it told her about Paradox. "O gods.. " She jumped up almost at once she glanced back at Alastor, "I have to go.. On of my men are in trouble. We will countine this another time." She picked up her skirts and was running back in.

"Well, you knew what you were getting into you idiot. Guess you can't win them all." Alastor said to himself as he quickly followed behind her. He moving sweep, he picked her up, still rushing. Although instead of running normally, he used the wind element to make his strides faster and further. When they finall got near the castle, he set her down and followed her in.

Mel grabed at her braided hair behinde her looking confused and steping back she hated magic and she had a feeling thats what she was about to see. She didn't want to know he was more than what he was which was Matachi.

Katherine gasped as he grabed her and when her arm came around to hold on to him it was slightly to tight. She might then still show her fear of him but that couldn't be helped. Once he set her down inside the main hall she looked around for anyone to tell her where he was . "Paradox!" How could anyone miss him anyway he was a giant.

Paradox was plainly not close enough for Katherine to hear him yet. The limp had made him stoop, so he didn't appear as beg as he actually was. In fact, he was using his Battle hammer as an impromtu crutch. He walked up to Katherine, drawing nearer and nearer. This time Katherine would be able to hear him. "Katherine? What do you need?" He asked casually with a slight rasp of his voice. He watched Alaster warily. Is this the man who set Karmine?

Paradox's eyes widened. "no no no no NO! That would be a very very bad idea." Paradox said seriously. He grabbed one of the arrows and tugged on it. A screeching metal sound filled the room. "I already pulled out the worst ones. These are just stuck in my armor. I'm fine, really. Really!!!" Paradox said quickly. he tried to sit down, but couldn't . His leg was to bent out of shape to allow him to sit down. The very last thing he wanted was for somebody to try and heal him. That could really backfire. Magic had a way. . . of going awry with him.

Black of course, rushed down with an entire medicine satchel full of potions and poisons. He looked at the eyes warily and returned around to his front. "Well, I'm not sure what to give him. As anything positive has the opposite effect on him. None of the poisons do physical damage like that to the body." He told her, handing her the satchel, the potions clanking unusually in the bag.
"They're labeled what they're for. I can't think of one that should work, so use your best judgment."

Meanwhile, Alastor just stood there and watched him strangely. He didn't want healing... not by magical means anyway.

Matachi opens his eyes the sidiion slowly leaves them, blood runs from his nose as the the sidiion takes its new effect, he puts a hand to his head as a headache hits him "Man this new side effect is a pain..." He says smirking as he lays there with a hand to his head.

Paradox froze in place at that suggestion. "Katherine. . . I must tell you a very important secret about my armor. . . It protects me, from arrows, and eyes because. . . " Paradox told her with a note of utter dread. He stopped in hesitation for a few seconds before continuing on. "I am shy." Paradox finished. He looked down dejectedly. In an attempt to avoid it Paradox said, "Besides, the only thing that I have to worry about is my leg. That landslide almost had torn it off. If it wasn't for that boulder landing on top of it, I would only have one leg right now." Paradox said trying to calm Katherine down. The last thing he wanted was to be in reach of all these people. Paradox shivered.
