"Didn't someone just fart or something?" Sub said as he heard a strange noise. "Guess not...any who." He said turning back to Odd. "Well, that's true. But don't you think it was weird that the Oreburgh Museum examined the meteorite fragment and compared its energy signature to that of a Moon Stone? And yet stressed that it was similar but not identical. Now RC says it feels evil, it's just all too weird." He said as he watched Odd pick up the rock, anticipating what would happen next.

"Oh, that's right....." The teen commented as he examined the stone, finding nothing out of the ordinary about it at the moment. "They did say it was like that, didn't they?" This was more of a statement than a question. He held the stone close to his face as if trying to examine it under a microscope hidden in his eyes. It was when he held it up that the feeling it had changed. "Ai!" He jumped when he felt something surge out of the stone at him, tossing the thing into the air as he formed a cross with his fingers and hissed in surprise.
He was panting heavily as he glared at the stone, countless crimson threads suddenly snaking out of it in all directions. Sub and RC wouldn't see them but the fact he could meant plenty. "This thing is EVIL!" He affirmed after calming down a moment. "And.....I think.....it might be alive......." He added as he relaxed his hands. "I can sense a soul inside it......but it feels..........fragmented? Broken, I guess. Like it's not all there." He turned away from the meteorite fragment but kept his developing senses honed on it in case it suddenly tried to strangle him from behind.

The short brunette girl cursed her luck, and looked down at the urn of incense on her neck with disdain. How did she get this far off the trail? Sure, the route south of Blackthorn City was bumpy as hell, but she'd been over it before, so why'd she get lost this time?
She sighed as glanced up at the sky, pushing her short brown locks of hair out of her eyes to do so. The clouds were getting dark. Was it seriously about to rain?
She sighed and looked around. Oh, hey, there's a convenient hole in the wal-er, mountain. With no further thought, the girl walked through the cave hiding the Team Snagem entrance.
"Hello?" she called out as she looked around the cave. A single waterfall cascaded into a pool of fresh, clean, Pokemon-infested water, although she wasn' t aware of that third tidbit.
Instead, she ignorantly cupped some of the water in her hands and splashed it into her hair, straightening the scraggly mess with her hands. The long trip here had made her sweat considerably, and having that nestle into her folicles wasn't healthy for her hair.
"Much better!" the girl said to herself happily, liking her current hairstyle much more. As she was admiring her reflection in the water, she noticed something odd sticking out of it. She tried poking it, but that just made her body freeze on the spot.
The odd thing reached out and wrapped around her waist, and lifted her into the air. And that's when the Tentacruel stuck its head out of the water.
"L... l-let me out!" she struggled to say, trying to fight past the paralytic poison with raw willpower. Eventually she got her arm loose enough to let her start beating on the tentacle wrapped around her waist, but that only served to enrage the Pokemon further. Deciding it didn't like the human, the Tentacruel tossed her over its head, through the waterfall.
The first thing she saw when she was able to move was the open door leading into Team Snagem Headquarters.

And the very next thing she would see would be an adorable pink bundle of adorable and not deadly tentacles. "Friiiiil!" It cooed as it approached.
"Narcissa?"
"Where are you, girl?"
A blue-haired boy of about 16 came walking out of the building, followed soon after by a boy with white hair tinged with faded red halfway down it's length. "There she is!" The white-haired declared as he spotted the tentadorable Pokemon.
"But who's this?" The blue-haired one asked as he looked over the brunette. "She looks hurt? You think a wild Pokemon got her?"
"I wouldn't doubt it." The white-haired one responded calmly. "Better bring her in and see if we can't get her sorted out. Dunno if the Doc's in, though."
The blue-haired one nodded and made to pick the girl up as if she were a newlywed bride. Not the most graceful but probably less painful on her if she were hurt.

Although she saw the ghost fish, she didn't have the ability to stay conscious long enough to meet its owner. By the time she did come to, she was in some guy's arms.
"Oh, no..." the girl moaned weakly. "Not this again. Um... excuse me... I..."

"Oh, no..." the girl moaned weakly. "Not this again. Um... excuse me... I...""Oh, you're alive after all!" Lykas smiled at the girl he was carrying. "Guess you had a run in a with a wild Pokemon, huh?" He asked as he followed Odd to the medlab. "You had us a bit worried." Odd admitted as he pushed the front door open for Lykas. "You looked like you got beat up pretty bad but you don't seem to have any injuries from the look of you." He noted as he looked over his shoulder. "And besides that, we're pretty out-of-the-way so it's not very often we find a girl laying outside our front door that doesn't know where to find us." Lykas added as he walked inside, allowing Odd to take the lead once again so he could get the doors for him. "Narcissa, come on." Odd called to their Frillish, who was watching from just outside the door. "Frriiiiiil!" The little Pokemon cooed before following her daddies inside. "Frill! Frill frillish frill fri frill ish?" She spoke excitedly to Odd, who only smiled at her. "I get the feeling you want to know who she is and if she ok, right?" He asked, to receive an energetic nod in return. "I think she'll be fine but getting her looked at by the Doc won't hurt her." Lykas assured the small Ghost type, bumping foreheads with her as a form of affection while his hands were full carrying injured female. Were these two planning on listening to her until they got her to the medlab? Probably not.

"I'm, um..." the girl started to say. Was she really okay? She didn't feel any pain. In fact, she didn't feel much of anything. She was still a bit numb from the poison.
She tried to think of what to tell them, so she didn't say much until they got to the medlab. Once/If Lykas set her down on a table, or whatever those were, she'd explain in more detail.
"I'm sorry for troubling you, I... my name is Keiko. Keiko Yuniko Carrie. You might have heard of me, I run a delivery service through Kanto and Johto. I'm based in New Bark, which isn't that far from here.
"Anyway, I was just coming back from a job when, as Luck would have it, I got lost. I managed to wander into the cave outside when that... tentacled thing snatched me and threw me... I think into the waterfall?
"But, anyway, what is this place? And I don't mean to be rude, but.. who are you people?"

"Can't say I have, honestly." Odd responded to Keiko's introduction, particularly the part about hearing of her. "But then, i grew up on top of the mountain so you probably never delivered a thing to us." He laughed lightly, referring to his past for once. "Who we are isn't as important as what you're going to do with the knowledge that we're here." Lykas replied as he dug through the cabinets in search of medicine. He found a bottle in one of them and pocketed it for later. "I'm surprised he has these......I'll save them for later. I might need them......." He commented to himself. After a while, he found what he was looking for. Bringing a small container of Pecha and Cheri berries over, he set them next to the girl. "You think you can eat a few of these on your own?" "He makes a good point." Odd pointed out. "We're not exactly in a residential zone here." "Exactly. We're not really out in the public eye here." Lykas agreed. "But put simply, we're like the international police only not affiliated."

Sub had walked out of the lab awhile ago, began to pack some things into a backpack before he headed out of the building. He was now standing outside the cave entrance to Mt. Silver, the meteorite fragment stowed in his backpack. He looked up at the sky as he clinched his SNAG in his right hand, mulling things over in his mind.

SubonicXP Sub had walked out of the lab awhile ago, began to pack some things into a backpack before he headed out of the building. He was now standing outside the cave entrance to Mt. Silver, the meteorite fragment stowed in his backpack. He looked up at the sky as he clinched his SNAG in his right hand, mulling things over in his mind. RC would land on a rock next to Sub. "Careful Sub, thinking that serious for any period of time can be dangerous to one's health." he says, Kiseru resting in the corner of his mouth.

"You're probably right." Sub said as he continued to stare upward at the sky. "But you know what they say, a rolling stone gathers no moss." He said with a smile as he faced RC, which would soon fade as he looked back at the sky. "I'm going to go find the rest of those fragments in Sinnoh, it's kind of our fault that all this is happening. We've already been partially responsible for the near collapse of one region already, I don't think I can bear the responsibility of another." He sighed.

" I hate to say it, but as long as you are a Snagem, a region will always be under threat, enemies will never play fair, and actions you take will more and likely cause more harm than good. It is knowing that in the end, that the region is safe, the current threat thwarted, and you have done all you can to make sure what was undone has been fixed or replaced, is what keep you from too much regret. And yes, I am speaking from experience." the Hybrid explains to the young man. "Don't me something I don't know." Sub said with a laugh. "Any who...I'm sure you got a good feel on the meteorite's chi now, right? Think you could help hunt them down?" He asked him.

I-I'm sorry! I didn't know, I mean... I-I promise not to say... anything. I... it's not like I get out much anyway - except for work, of course."She seemed really upset and a little frightened about having wondered into a secret cop hideout.
