yenyit Pistil I've been job hunting for almost a month now. Not even one interview yet. And I might have to take a break because I injured my ankle bad on the weekend sad is it the bad ankle too? surprised Yup. I was at a wedding. I was wearing low heels but took them off to dance so I wouldn't twist my ankle. Anyway, dancing with my love and suddenly out of nowhere I had excruciating pain in my foot and ankle (I didn't twist my ankle, step funny or ANYTHING). I hobbled back to my seat and grabbed ice out of my bf's glass (bahaha) and put it straight on my ankle until it all melted away. I did a few more dances though (slow, basically one footed). There was no way I could walk to the car at the end of the night so he had to bring it to the front door. When I'm barefoot I can walk decently. Huge limp, but no assistance. Socks hurt when they're on and so do shoes. As soon as I have shoes on I need my cane and at least 80% of my weight goes to the cane when I'm on that foot. Stairs, uneven surfaces, and slants are my enemy. And no, I haven't seen a doctor. Don't see the point when my doctor has no clue what it is and already did the tests he can do. The emergency doctors would just say the same thing ("all tests have been done that we would do") and then I'd have to argue with them for pain meds. So my bf donated some T3's so that I can at sleep fall asleep at night. The funny thing is this: A couple weeks ago I was at a concert (The Offspring!) and was on the floor. Well I was jumping, dancing, going crazy, etc. all night and basically was pushing my ankle harder than I have in YEARS, daring it to give. Didn't bug me once.

Slowly. I can walk without a cane, but I have a time limit (half an hour)... but that's constant... so I can do stuff all day, I just need breaks. But it will work for now. I have a job interview today and I should be able to do the whole thing without revealing any injuries. I do crawl up stairs, and bum scoot down. biggrin And after the concert is when it felt its best. I was able to do a lot more than I have in months... until the wedding.
