Tom's wife was just kidnapped, so he doesn't feel much like chatting. It happened before they were able to take any pictures. Totally ruined the whole thing.

Actually, no. Someone else got that. I drew the short straw and had to hunt down a small bullet to be hidden in some food. Which wouldn't be so terrible if not for one thing: Sex toys are, for the most part, illegal to purchase in the state of Alabama. Spencer's outlets here will barely touch even the SIMPLEST of toys with a 10 ft pole, leaving the specialty boutiques as my only other option.
Lucky for me, the woman who runs one of the more respectable stores the next town over opened up a branch in-town. I've been curious to check it our regardless, and I must say, very nice. They have a relationship therapist on payroll, a nice lil water feature up front, and, surprisingly, the first and currently only toy drive-through in the country (the building used to be a bank, they use the original vacuum-tube system).
I hate to say it, but you can just kinda tell the store is owned and operated by a woman. It's just so nice and clean, and it focuses on the relationship aspect more than just being dirty. That's compared to the other two stores I know of in town, one of which is just basically a glorified lingerie store and the other caters mainly to strippers and the crazy fetish crowd.
But anyway, the owner of the store has been fighting like hell to get that stupid law repealed. She works though a loophole that allows the sale of toys for 'medical reasons' (as opposed to 'immoral reasons,' quote unquote), but ironically enough, the woman at the register didn't make me fill out a medical questionnaire or show ID or anything. Heck, I outright TOLD her the reason I was getting it, and she thought it was funny as hell!
