Jumping at the sound, Kalore rubbed his ear as he sighed. "Well... I don't think I've ever had to deal with this before... so..." He sighed again, sipping at his water as he looked down. "I want to fix it though.... But I've got no clue on how..." Kalore knew that this wasn't helping, but what could he do? He snapped because of Kyin's involvement and their problems. He let it get in the way and that's something that shouldn't have happened. But... how did he explain that? Joker was much easier to talk to...

"I have never dealt with something like this before so there is only one way this could be stopped and prevented in the future." He said, his tone sounded ominous and it sent a shiver of forboding in the air.

Kalore looked at him with some confusion in his eyes. "One way to prevent this in the future...?" He raised a brow. Well, he knew one way. Keeping away from Kyin or just killing the man. He was normally the only reason why he snapped anyway. That or someone just really annoying him, but he could normally just walk away then. But what was Monty talking about? "What do you mean, Monty?"

"I mean that we keep our distance from now on. Clearly, I am nothing but a toy to you. I'm not even considered a comrade, so consider yourself nothing to be but a member of this group that I have to put up with." He picked up his glass and finished his water. "Would you like some more water?" He asked, looking at the elf with arrogance.

Lips parted, Kalore shook his head, "What?!" So Joker was right, not that he was surprised by that. Standing up to look at him in the eyes, he shook his head again. "Damnitt, I messed up, okay? but that doesn't mean that you're just a toy to me!" even Kalore wasn't that horrible to consider someone nothing but a toy.

Monty narrowed his eyes at Kalore. "Sit down Kalore or else I'm make you a midget." He warned with deadly intent. Placing the glass down, he looked at the elf with his cold gaze. "I know you messed up. I messed up too. Only if I were to tell you how I messed up, it would only break your poor little heart." He growled. "Now, don't lie to me about not making people your little toy, elf. It's very unbecoming."

He sat down but there was this look of shocked hurt. "I don't make people my toy, Monty. I know that's what it seemed like and it's... I should have woken you up, but he just..." Kalore groaned, rubbing his temples. "Anything with that b*****d just messes me up, okay? It's not an excuse... But... How did you mess up?" He looked confused. All Monty did was get angry, and he had every right.

"I won't say a word Kalore." He said, turning to look away and clench his jaw. Of course, there were so many bad things he could say that would hurt Kalore to no end but he couldn't, despite wanting to, couldn't do it to the elf. It was that damned conscience of his rearing it's ugly head at him and making him think. Yes, this one can think.

Looking even more hurt, Kalore seemed to get crushed even more with every passing second. "Monty.... I know you hate apologies so I'm not going to apologize... But what happened was wrong. On both ends, okay?" Kalore almost looked desperate. "Whatever you've got to do to just listen... yell at me, insult me, hit me, berate me, damnitt just do it so we can get over this... Please..." Kalore's eyes held pain, showing that he was being serious. He didn't want to just walk out or anything because of this. He couldn't do it, and he wouldn't do it.

"I think I've done enough and wasted enough of that to last you a lifetime. Now just go Kalore. My duty is to this group to ensure that this city is not overtaken by fools like the Unseelie. That should have been my number one thing to do." He said, not looking at Kalore because...He was actually afraid of what he might see there.

Kalore was starting to get angry, but he refused to let that make him do something stupid. "So... because I got mad... And I made a mistake... It's over. One stupid a** mistake and it's done?" Kalore felt his anger turn back to pain as he looked at Monty. Why was he talking to him when he knew that he wasn't going to be heard? "I see.... So... Are you sure that when you said I'm the one that makes toys... you weren't talking about yourself?" Kalore shook his head, collapsing on the couch, eyes dull.

Monty's face was a frozen mask. "There was nothing to begin with Kalore. I assure you, If I was going to make a toy out of you, I would have at least gotten something out of it for all the trouble but alas, I didn't even get a piece of a**. So, you are incorrect in that respects." He said, cooly and giving him a icy look. The demon dared the elf to push the wrong buttons because he was close to snapping at him.

"So..." Kalore finally just broke, knowing now that he probably was just being stupid. Shaking his head, he just didn't speak. Shaking a bit, the man just brought his legs up, a tell tale sign that he was breaking. And fast. "No..." He shook his head, muttering something to himself about just being stupid. Shaking his head again, Kalore shivered, starting to just break. How was he supposed to fix this?

The demon turned his head away, placing his arms at his side, casual. Inside there was a serious war going on with his cold anger versus his conscience. His conscience and honorble side wanted to go to Kalore and wrap his arms around but his angry, pained part of him refused wanting the other to suffer because he had. That monster side of him wanted all to suffer for something that only he truly commited. "You may leave now." He said.

Kalore continued to just sit there, shaking his head, muttering, "I can't just leave it like this, though... There's gotta be something that can be done to fix this...." His voice broke, as if he was going to break down, crying, but there were no tears in his eyes. Just a dull sadness that was killing him.
