He thought about what he would have done had he been the one to attack Pix. He knew he would have taken into account the packs Pix was carying and would have gone for his legs with a coupe of bolts. When he dodged this would leave almost any normal person horribly off balance, he wasn't sure about Pix, but it would give him a few seconds to hit Pix's arms/hands if he tried to block them. This would give him the overall advantage, especially with his range. He cleared his head with a quick shake and noticed Andrea glaring at Pix. He shift himself in between them. He didn't feel like having a person who he was going to personally train get hurt and he definitely didn't feel like having to make more medicine. He wondered what exactly she was glaring at Pix for anyways. He knew Pix was a jerk, but he hadn't done anything too extreme, at least not for Pix. He would remember to ask her later if he had the chance.
(sorry if it's not that great, I've been having writer's block lately.)

 There are no such things as coincidence.Sighing, Evacy felt a headache coming along. She really wanted to go someplace dark and quiet and sleep. Obviously, she could yell at everyone to shut up. Especially Pix. Massaging the bridge of her nose, Evacy sighed once again. She felt like it didn't matter what she thought, but she didn't like just standing here, doing nothing. But if she spoke out... Shaking the thought out of her mind, Evacy looked at Andrea. Yup. She was glaring at Pix. It wasn't like Evacy had a change of heart and didn't mind Pix anymore, she just forced herself to tolerate the man.
"Hey, chill." Evacy said, resting a hand on Andrea's shoulder. "It's not like we can do anything at the moment."

Just then the man from before shifted into her line of sight, blocking her view of Pix. Andrea turned her head to the side, scowling towards the ground. When Evacy spoke she shut her eyes and shrugged her hand off her shoulder. "Hrnn..." Andrea shifted away from her a bit, not really in the mood for arguing: no need for her temper to get the better of her here. She took a deep breath then sighed, trying to make her irritance lower.

I myself thought I had made that abundantly clear, but that's why you get paid the big bucks I 'spose" He said with a sneer as he noted the position of the sun, " Let's get moving you lily livered bastards, don't expect to rest if you don't move enough to earn it!"
As the others went ahead of him he waited for a private word with Kai and Tanner.

Kai, Tanner and Lucas were about to fall into step with the others, but Tanner noticed Pix looked like he wanted a word.
Casually walking near Pix, Tanner nodded to Pix. "Were you going to say something?" he said, quietly.

"Only that you two are the ones that command respect, yet seem the least deserving," Pix spoke calmly, not a trace of anger or bitterness in his voice, he was just pointing it out," Tanner you outrank most people in the damn known world, yet you seem timid as a rabbit, you blanch at the mention of fighting and serve only reinforce what I've already said. They hate me, you know it, make them know they have a charismatic leader who will protect them when they truly need it, who will speak down to me and denounce me." He turned to Kai ,"You look at me and the others like a puppy admiring a wolf. The others came to the surface for you yet you do nothing for them. Follow my orders, set the example but don't jump at every beck and call.
I no longer have the right to criticize you my lord, but you have been around trained men who shared both battle and drink with you, not green as hell rookies.
Learn to deal with that or you'll be lying in a pool of your own blood when the others decide to break and flee"

Gregor was glad to be moving again. He wasn't the type of person to stand still when there was something that had to be done. As they started to walk he noticed Pix, Tanner, Lucas, and Kai stay back. He worked his way towards the back of the group to listen in. He was sure Pix noticed this, but he didn't really care. He grinned when he heard Pix insulting each of them in turn. This was definitely going to be an interesting mission now that it was underway.

Tanner didn't really like his tone. Pix had a point, but Tanner had his reasons for acting the way he did.
Lucas felt the need to interject.
"I know that apparently my opinion doesn't matter much, but I think if you saw Tanner on the battlefield you'd have much more respect for him. He fights like a god." Lucas's face was red with frustration. Tanner looked at the ground in embarrassment as Lucas continued. "I wouldn't say Tanner is timid. All the blood he's shed just makes him feel guilty, that's all. As far as I can tell, he's just feeling how any normal person would feel after so much battle in a short amount of time... He's not some ignorant fool that thinks he's always right." Lucas now glared at Pix. "You know what-" Lucas didn't finish his rant, Tanner had placed his hand on Lucas's shoulder.
"That's enough, Lucas," Tanner said. Lucas didn't have outbursts like this very often.
A moment of awkward silence gave the air tension that Tanner finally broke.
"Your criticism is valid..." His voice trailed off for a minute. "As for Kai, I would just like to say that he's out of his element. He's only been above ground for a couple days. I think he'll be back to his good self again soon. It takes some a while to adjust. I know Kai well, he's a great leader."
Kai didn't take Pix's comments well. He stared off into the distance, not knowing what to feel.

"Blood brings out the beast in man..." Pix reflected, more to himself than in reply to Lucas. "A well mannered princeling can walk into a battle field with all his courtly worries and walk out bloodied after having fought like a wolf." His moment of reflection came to an end as he stared at Lucas, "Loyal to a fault," A grin spread across his face, "Good, a man should know where his loyalties lie, and for now mine lie with Tanner out of necessity. Do not mistake me boy, I follow you but I do not respect you, not until you show me that you deserve it. But for now what say you to motivating these scum bags? I am after all a man of many talents, most of them useless." Grinning like a fool he took a small lute from one of his bags and began to sing his melody.

Andrea shrugged her shoulders so her pack fit better before trudging off, passing by Kai, Pix, Tanner, and Lucas as they talked. She let her mind wander slightly as she continued along, vaugly wondering what today's training would consist of. "Hrmm.." one of her slender hands ran through her short, black hair as she continued, frowning slightly.

There are no such things as coincidence.((That it would, Pix. But I would personally get freaked out by the thought of stepping on someone's grave because it's in the middle of nowhere... Especially if the person's not dead in the first place. Attack of the zombies! xD)) There is only hitsuzen
