Storm sniffled a bit and rubbed his eyes, his tears slowing a bit. He looked up at Lore, his expression worried and scared.

"I'm not in trouble?" he squeaked, hardly daring to believe his luck.

Amara returned just then with a cloth and a canteen of healing water. It had come from a whirlpool high on another of the mountains, and its magical healing properties were immense. Cuts and scrapes were nothing: it had helped Amara's parents regain entire limbs they had lost in fights.

She held them out for Lore silently, figuring that since he was their father, he might want to be the one to do it. Not to mention, it seemed that the child was in the middle of being lectured ...

"Thank you," Lore told Amara absently as he cradled the boy in the crook of his arm while taking the two objects in question. He carefully dabbed water onto the cloth.

He looked at Storm seriously, he really wished he didn't have to, but....

"No... you're in a bit of trouble, just like Starr was in a bit of trouble earlier," he told Storm sternly, "Because, the same reason applies, you could have done a lot worse, and that is dangerous."

Storm looked afraid again at Lore's reply, but he lay back in Lore's arm and lifted his shirt willingly now, revealing the scrapes and cuts there as well so that they could also be looked after.

"But it was just some flowers," he pouted.

"Oh?" Lore asked as he wiped Storm's stomach gently, "Let me guess... did those flowers have thorns?"

Which would explain a bit, at least it wasn't Storm's magic backfiring on him, which was Lore's primary worry at the moment.

Storm stared at his belly as his wounds vanished, nodding at Lore's question.

"They were really prickly," he pouted, looking away from his stomach and up at Lore. "But the flowers were so pretty!"

Either Seconds were fast healers or there was somsething in the water Lore deducted, or it wasn't water. He wasn't sure which, though he was faintly surprised by this.

"They had many petals?" Lore defaulted on the most common flower he knew.

"There was just this many," Storm replied, holding up one hand with five fingers up. He paused thoughtfully, then asked, "Petals are the pretty bit, right? That sticks out from the middle?"

He looked at his still-scratched hand, then looked back up at Lore.

Lore couldn't think of what flower that was as he took more water and wiped the palms of Storm's hand. He had, as far as he could recall never heard of such flowers, but then again it could be he just couldn't see it in his mind's eye.

"I suppose I would have to see it to get an idea of what they are," for all Lore knew it could be a plant not found in Gaia.

"Maybe I can show you later, when we go back down," Storm suggested, his eyes glued to his palms as his wounds vanished without a trace. He stared at them for several long moments in silence without blinking; then he looked up at Lore.

"Wow," he grinned.

Suddenly another thought entered his mind.

"Do we have to tell Mama?" he asked, sounding scared again.

"It would not be fair to your Mama, if I knew and she didn't," Lore replied back gently capping the flask back up.

Besides, he knew that in order to have equal parenting, both parents had to be in on it. Or at least that's what he overheard somewhere once. Not that he could remember where, he was still getting use to the idea of being a parent.

"Why not?" Storm asked, confused. One of his black wings twitched once ... twice, as he stared up at Lore.

"Because she is your mother, she needs to know if you've been hurt or if something happened," Lore explained gently, "As your parents we cannot keep things like this from each other."

It was sad he thought, he looked through too many student textbooks, but that's all he had to fall back on besides the fact he felt that was the right thing to do. It was just he had to give a good reason to Storm, otherwise it might be a bit difficult.

Amara took the flask from Lore and returned it to where it belonged before going back to the living room and taking a seat on the couch opposite Lore and the children. To be honest, she was finding this ... a bit fascinating, really.

One of Storm's wings twitched a bit as he looked up at Lore curiously and asked, "Why not?"

Just then, the front door opened and Elnara entered the house, ushering Skye in just ahead of her. The little angel skipped ahead and jumped onto the couch beside Amara, sitting down and grinning, and Elnara made her way over to Lore and the twins.

"You all look so solemn," she commented jokingly, though her expression was curious. "Did something happen?"
