Layna slowly opened the door to her apartment, knowing that there were sleeping occupants. She crept through the living room toward her son's room. She could hear him whining softly, and as she approached him. "Mama..." He cooed, raising his arms to her. She gently picked him up and walked from the room. "Let's go see Razu, 'kay?" He nodded vigorously as she walked out the door, closing it soundlessly behind her.

Ceon walked up to the door to Layna's apartment. He wriggled the handle to the door and found that it was locked. That was typical of Layna, always afraid something unpleasant was going to come in. With one swift motion of his foot the door flew off its hinges and into te apartment, and Ceon stormed in with a checklist in hand. He went to the closet and opened it, finding his array of guns and ammunition still intact. He found a trash bag in the kitchen and placed the weapons inside of it.
He then walked to the bedroom, where he saw the tiny desk next to his side of the bed. He opened the drawers and found his wallet, credit cards, and phone. He scooped them up and put them in his pants pockets. Witha frown on his face he checked off the items from the checklist and headed out the door.

Ceon walked in through the broken doorway he made with Layna uncoscious in his arrms. He quickly set Layna on the couch,feeling his strength, draining. he plopped down in front of the couch and leaned his head back, breathing heavily.

Layna's hand grasped limply at the wound on her shoulder, her breath coming in soft gasps as she tried to nudge the magic upward. It eluded her completely. She slipped through the black flood of cold unconsciousness, her body getting goosebumps as air passed over her bare skin.

Ceon took Layna's hand off her shoulder, "Don't worry, Layna, I'll take care of you." Ceon ran to the kitchen and rummaged quickly through the drawers. He came back to the couch with multiple medical supplies. He poured some peroxide on the bite, then wrapped it tightly in guaze. He kissed her lightly, "Please be okay Layna.........I love you so much..."

Layna let out a cry, her eyes snapping open as the alcohol fell upon the open wound. She wriggled, gasping wildly, the stinging excruciating. She stared at Ceon for a moment, blinking. "W-What...?" She murmured, her voice cracking as she continued to gasp against the pain. She wasn't sure what had occurred. She last remembered Ceon biting lightly at her, and then complete blankness.

Ceon leaned in closer, "Oh thank god you're alive" Ceon brushed his fingers along Layna's cheek as he spoke. "I said......I love you..." Ceon kissed her bandaged wound lightly, then her lips.

Layna shied lightly, turning her head as he tried to kiss her lips. She was gasping, her face ashen from both blood loss and emotion. This wasn't supposed to happen. Why was she injured? Why did she feel so...drained? She barely wanted to move anything. "Where...are we?" She asked softly, her eyes staring upwards.

"We're home, Layna. I....lost control of myself again.....the bite mark is mine. The gash on my side is yours. Are you okay, Layna?" Ceon bit his lip in anticipation, thinking Layna was going to flip out on him again.

Razu knocked on the door and then snapped the door open with ease. He sees Layna on the ground and swiftly walked to her setting Gabe down as he knelt by her. He laid a hand on her forehead and sent a healing power to her wound.

Layna flinched from the hand on her forehead, and sat up quickly, her head spinning. "No...No...Don't." She whispered, her limp and useless arm cradled against her chest. "It has to connect...Nerves were severed..." She whispered, gasping through the pain. "Mama!" Gabriel squeaked, rushing to pounce upon his mother. Layna hugged him tightly, her body shivering. She looked at Ceon, then Razu, and then her grey-eyed son, hugging tightly to her.

Ceon smiled as Gabriel hugged Layna. Oh, Gabriel had grown so much since he saw him. He was walking, talking, and he had a full head of hair. He looked up at Layna with hopeful eyes, "Are you going to introduce me?"

Layna blinked up at Ceon, and then lower her lips to Gabriel's ear, explaining in the only way she knew possible. She closed her eyes, allowing the words to pass from her lips to Gabriel's ears only. The little Lycan's eyes widened as she explained. And then he whined, clearly troubled at this. He looked up at the man whom his mother said was his father, but he did not recognize the face.

Ceon looked at Gabriel, and at Layna with an perplexed look on his face. "The hell did you tell the kid?" Ceon looked back at Gabriel. Gabriel had his hair, his face, and fom what he could tell, his teeth.

Layna raised her eyes and sighed. "I explained..." She murmured softly. brushing the hair from her son's face. "Gabriel, it's true." She murmured softly. Gabriel narrowed grey eyes at his mother, his face blank. "He died? He should be dea..." Layna pressed a finger to his lips. "Shhh....He is. This is real, Gabriel."
