((I told you it wouldn't work. Didn't even do it purposely, that's just her answer.))
Unhae tilted her head. "What did you expect, Mr. Blitz?" She wasn't confused. Everyone she talked to was always surprised about something. She was used to it.

"I was just expecting a yes or no." He had pretty much lost interest in talking with the child after that last statement. He was now wondering when her auntie would return.

((Interesting.))
He didn't have long to wait. Half a moment later, A.C. strode back up with the boy practically clinging to her, he was walking so close. Only he was half-running to keep up with her and didn't seem to dare touch her.
A.C. looked completely calm. "Unhae? What have you two been talking about?"
The girl bounced on the box, but still didn't get off. "I'm Unhae, Mister. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too Unhae. I'm Blitz. If it's okay to ask, how did you guys end up traveling with..." And she proceeded to repeat the entire conversation verbatim as A.C.'s jaw dropped.

Erica glanced at the kid as she respoke the conversation, and raised an eyebrow. "Damn that could get annoying."

"Not thinking, and for once, not even planning. Simply watching, and making note. They infinte array of powers shown in individuals never ceases to amaze."

More than annoying, A.C. thought, that could put here in a lot of danger. From... me. "Unhae," she said when the child was done and looking eager for praise. "If... If I ever try to make you be a spy... say no." She shook her head and frowned a little. "And don't ever repeat what people say like that again. I don't know whether they trained you to do that or it's a natural gift, but really don't ever do it again. People would hurt you."
She stepped over to Erica and inclined her head, eyeing Xeen sideways--just in case. "Thank you for minding the baby, Madam. I... appreciate it." She reached out to take the child back. As she did, she added, "And the girl is human, by the way. Not likely to help you power a dreadnaught, whatever happened to the old ones, so please don't consider it."

Xeen's resulting grin was very unplesant looking. "It just takes more Mundanes to power one, I can still make it work." He replied simply, turning to Erica, "The Dreanoughts are safe, currently doing scout work and were making tunnels into Krovh for the network of communications and supplies we had running inbetween. But, alas, Union and Krovh are both atomic craters, and we must rebuild."

Erica raised an eyebrow, "she'd make a kind of small battery wouldnt' she, super or not." She tried to make a sort of joke, not really having any idea what AC was talking about. Erica handed the baby back, easily enough. "Keep the baby safe, and don't leave her with children like that again."
She glanced at Xeen, relieved that the dreadnought was safe, though she hadn't know about the second dreadnought. "We must rebuild? Rebuild what, love? You don't mean to carry on with this war, do you?"
