You know you're a band geek when you...
1. can watch scary movies and it won't bother you but when you see 9/6 in your music it scares that crap out of you.
2. You're walking in the hallway and you start yelling at the person in front of you "Left! Left! Left! Left!"
3. You go to the band room during lunch witha ll your friends
4. Your house is your second home to the band room.
5. You get angry when a gaurd drops something
6. You go to other schools' football games and claim the other band stole your band dance.
7. When somone asks you about the girl with red hair and green eyes, you don't know them but as soon as they mention what instrument they play, you know immediately.
8. You try to play your favorite songs by ear.
9. You listen to the radio and every two songs you shout "we played that song so and so years ago!"
10. You'r biggest goal is to get to the highest level of your instrument by the end of the year.

You know you're a band geek when you still stick around for the 5th and 6th grade band practices after you graduated to the 7th and 8th grade band. crying

You know your a bando when...
You think the cape on your uniform rocks (ours are BRIGHT orange)
You play the Imperial March every time your BD comes out of his/her office.
You can put instruments in each other without getting them stuck (or water bottles)
When you can play a song from memory...from 4 years ago...
If it weren't for band, you wouldn't have any of your friends.
You know that the hats are truely evil...even if the plumes look cool.

You know you're a band geek when you find yourself marking time to all twelve and a half minutes of your freshman year's field show while sleeping during your junior year.

You are a band geek if you have ever yelled at cars, while driving, to cover down.
When Dress Right Dress, doesn't mean anything about clothes.
When being a bass guitar player doesn't necessarily make you cool.
When you search the internet to look at pictures of instruments.
When you jump up, no matter what you are doing, or what physical peril this action may put you in, to yell the name of a senior who graduated last year and has walked into the band room to visit the BD
When you spend your entire friday at school, from the first bell to 1 AM.
When your mother has to make her plans around your band camp.
When you spend every waking moment after the last day of school fantasizing about the coming year's first game.
When you consider your day complete if you see even a clip of a DCI competition.
When you get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside of you when you play stand music during a summer rehearsal.
When you walk out onto the field and the band is called to attention, you get an angry look on your face.
When you walk back in from the game with half the school looking at you and feel proud to be part of the band because it really is important.
After the final note of the show, the crowd cheers, and you stand there at horns down breathing hard and find yourself completely lost for words, it just feels too good to ruin.
When you step in the puddle where the sprinkler system is in your brand new shiny Kswiss Hightops when you're doing your football field rehearsal before the first game and think, thank goodness this isn't my band shoe's.
When your band director knows your name and you feel that you really have achieved something.
When life is not good enough unless you are laying down on the driving range/practice field, your upper arms are tanned and you have big cooler jug of water beside you.
When someone mentions a food you think about a band members nickname.
When you stay up all night writing these things and making an 8 page long copy with over 125 You Might Be A Band Geek If jokes from all the junk people put on message boards.

Your a band Geek when:
The band room isn't just a second home, its also your locker, cafeteria, hidding, and sleeping place.
The band teacher isnt just your faveriot teacher, but you realize that you trust them more then you do your own parents, friends, and pets.
