*He hears Kaiori and looks down to the ground. When she takes off, a flutter of feathers is heard before he chases after Kaiori, but not trying to catch her, just not lose track of her*

ah! *He sees her trip and slides next to her. Than kneels by her and puts hand on her shoulder* Kaiori-san?? are you alright? *Soon enough he realizes she's passed out. he sighs* Kaiori-san..... *Than carefully picks her up and looks back at where Irvine had been, hoping that he wouldn't follow, though it wouldn't matter if he did. Than turns toward Kaiori's forest. A few seconds later, 7, long, slender, white, angelic wings sprout from his back, four on the right and three on the left, evenly spaced out. Without trouble, he takes flight and heads to the forest*

Irvine went to help Kaiori after she had fallen. Though he stopped as Than came down and took her away. He turned away from Kaiori and Thanatos. He wiped somthing out of his eye which just happened to be a tear. He slid his shades on so they covered his eyes and strode back to his sanctuary. He took a seat in the same groove as before and stared up at the stars. Tears, unseen by anyone flowed down Irvine's cheeks. He had failed.

Irvine sat overlooking the ruins of Enid like a stone gargoyle. Unmovingly and unflinchingly at even the slightest sound or movement. Requiem lay out on his chest in the open in it's cross form. Nightmare, also in it's cross form, was leaning against a destroyed part of the wall Irvine sat atop. He had his arm placed on the side of it. In his other hand he held a cigerette with his middle and index finger. He brought the smoke to his mouth and inhaled deeply then brought it away as he exhaled the fumes. He smirked.

"The beauty of being dead....is knowing you can't die again...well atleast not by disease."

He continued scanning the ruins with his sightless eyes. Though he could not see the rubble, he could "feel" it. He knew where every rock was and where every broken door lay. He could tell weather or not somthing had disturbed the village, be it animal or human. Right now, however, the town was just like normal. Except for the fact that it had been leveled to the ground.

Irvine sat alone atop the wall of Enid. His baby blue eyes scanned the rubble of the leveled town. They left not one rock over turned nor door unchecked. Irvine was the keeper and preserver of Enid as well as it's only resident. Well living resident anyway. He sat there on the wall, and was unbelieveabley still. The only time there was movement was when he had to blink which was very rarely. He was like a stone statue, protecting the tomb of those long deceased. A clap of thunderr and a lightning flash in the distance indicated a storm. Irvine didn't move in the slightest at the sight of the lightning.

"Looks like rain...should be fun..."

Rain...it began to rain. No...it began to pour. Irvine remained still, overlooking the ruins of Enid. Lightning flashed over head. As it poured down, Irvine never faltered as he continued to watch over the town. There was truly no reason for it. However, it gave Irvine somthing to do. So he did it. Without a second thought.

~The water droplets running off of his cloak like a stream, Trisk made out an indistinct outline of a building. Grateful for any shelter, he picked his way through the puddles and found a rickety overhang that provided a bit of a reprive from the downpour. Looking around the area, Trisk scanned the broken town. As his eyes passed by one of the highest points on the wall, lightning flashed and Trisk glimpsed the outline of a man.~
"Surely not... who would be out in this downpour?"
~Moving from shelter to shelter, Trisk moved in for a closer look.~

~After moving in close, Trisk realized that there was nobody there after all. Noticing the storm lessening, he shrugged and headed to the Dojo.~

Irvine had stayed outside, masking himself from the human watcher. The storm had now passed and now dew lay over the ruined city. It glistened in the evening like a thousand shiney gems. Irvine still sat motionless. Thousands of thoughts ran through his mind. However, his thoughts were disrupted as he saw a figure approach. He slowly got to his feet and "looked" to see who it was. He couldn't tell who it was but somthing about them made him uneasy. Not only that, but he knew he was familiar with the person even though he couldn't tell who it was. Irvine jumped down from his vantage point and landed in a crouched posistion. He slowly stood up straight and then "looked" at who was approaching. Slowly he started forward. He stopped when he and the stranger were only 10 feet apart.

"Who are you?"

A familiar dark and sinister voice filled Irvine's mind.

"You know me Gray."

Slowly the figure stepped forward revealing black robes and a cowl covering a person's face. Irvine ground his teeth together. He spoke through gritted teeth.

"Lucifer..."

"Hahaha. Can't pull a fast one on you, can I Gray? Even if you are blind you still know who I am. Hahaha!"

Irvine's hand curled into a fist. He made it apparent he was in no mood for games. Lucifer looked at Irvine intently and began to laugh again. Harsh, cold laughter that felt no warmth. Most people would be shaking. The only thing Irvine felt was a shiver down his spine. Lucifer watched with amusement. He finally spoke through their mental link.

"Ah, Gray. Your such a funny person. We need someone with your sense of humor back in Hell. Ahahahaha!"

Irvine ran forward and grabbed Lucifer by the robes. His eyes were now black with crimson irises and slitteds pupils. He lifted Lucifer slightly off the ground and now bared fangs. Irvine tried to look under the cowl but could see nothing. This didn't really matter though. Irvine just wanted answers.

"Shut up! What did you do to me?! TELL ME!"

"Ahahahaha! Easy, Gray. You may want to think about this. Look round."

Irvine looked around. Several hundred Demons had suddenly appeared out of no where. They all carried gruesome looking weapons and evil smirks on their faces. Irvine then looked back to Lucifer who's face he could not see. He set Lucifer down but still kept a hold on his robes.

"Tell me what you did to me, or so help me God I will tear you to shreads."

"Hahahaha! For some reason, you cannot stop making me laugh today Gray. Listen to yourself. "So help you, god?" Hahahaha! Since when have you ever been a man of God?!"

Irvine didn't reply but growled instead.

"Tell me."

"Alright. Alright. You want to know what I did to you? I gave you power. Great power. Power enough to destroy Xol. Which is still alive I see."

Irvine let go of Lucifer and turned away slightly. Power was it? He curled his hand into a fist. He bared his fangs. What power did he have. He was a monster. There was no chance for Irvine now. He spun around and faced Lucifer, anger coursing through him.

"Power?! More like a curse! I'm forced into unprovoked fits of rage! I lust for blood! I am a monster! AND YOU CALL IT POWER?! WELL THEN, LET'S SEE HOW YOU FAIR WHEN I RIP YOU TO SHREDS WITH MY NEW POWER!!!

Irvine grabbed Lucifer by his robes and lifted him up. The demons went to help their master, that is until Lucifer began to laugh again. Irvine looked up Lucifer with his crimson eyes, a powerful hate surging through him. A powerful hate and rage that could not be controled.

"Gray, your a funny man as I've already stated. Now let me down.

Surprisingly, Irvine did as Lucifer said and let him down. Lucifer brushed himself off and then spoke.

"I gave you this power to kill Xol with. As of right now, your evenly matched with him. Xol should be dead Gray. WHY HAVEN'T YOU KILLED HIM YET?!"

The sudden anger took Irvine by surprise however he hid it well. It's not like it mattered because he was sure Lucifer knew everything he thought and felt. However, his feeling of surprise quickly vanished and was replaced by one of anger.

"I've been busy! Xol is not the easiest of men to kill! Besides, your one to talk! You were sealed in Hell by him! I don't know why your yelling at me! So stop riding my-"

Suddenly, Irvine couldn't speak. He froze. His hand went immediately to his throat. He couldn't breath. Lucifer held out a hand and it looked as if he were choking air, however he was really choking Irvine from a distance by taking the air from his lungs. Lucifer spoke, his voice laced with malice.

"Speak again about my imprisonment Gray, and I'll make sure you lose your powers. And then I'll see how you fair against Xol. You wouldn't stand a chance. No. It's MY powers that I gave you thats keeping you alive when you fight! But I need Xol killed, and you seem like the only one who's atleast willing to do it."

With that, he let Irvine go from the choke hold. Irvine fell to his hands and knees and started gasping for air. After his breath had returned, he looked up and saw that Lucifer was gone as well as all the demons. His eyes flared with anger. Suddenly blue flames erupted around him. He got to his feet, his anger feeding the flames.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

As Irvine gave a mighty yell, his flames fluxuated and he litterally "exploded with anger". A large, blue flaming dome could be seen from far and wide as Irvine's flames leveled what was left of Enid. They scorched and seared the Earth. The wall was shattered and the remaining buildings were completely leveled or turned to ashes. After the dome disappated, all that was left was a large black wasteland signifying the remains of Enid. Irvine fell to his knees breathing heavily. His eyes no longer were crimson but had returned to their baby blues. He fell forward and continued to breath deep, exhausted from his output of energy. He closed his eyes and slipped into a deep sleep.

Irvine's eyes slowly fluttered open. Apparently his deep sleep wasn't as deep as he thought it had been. Slowly he got to his feet and looked around. Nothing but ashes. Enid had totally been leveled to nothing but scorched earth and ashes. Irvine sighed. Nightmare was some way aways, seemingly unaffected whatsoever by Irvine's flames. He walked over to his large black cross and hefted it on to his back. He sighed and stuck his hands in to his pockets. There was nothing left for him here. He turned and left, actually heading for the B.C.

*Desire descends on to a broken roof, she looks around, her cloud like hair moving softly with the wind, her light pink lips set in a frown, she raises a delicate finger and runs it up and down the ivory horn on her head, as she wonders why no creatures remain here*

*Desire stops and listens, but hears no sound, she sniffed the air, she didn't like earth to much, it always smelled so strange, she looked around, everything seemed dull in her eyes*

((Hate to bring this up, but if you read Irvine's last couple of posts, there should be no roof to land on. Everything has been leveled to ashes. Really, nothing is here.))
