Sumire took a deep breath, getting control over herself again. She really was way too hyper. "Ahem!" She shifted positions since her right butt cheek beginning to tingle as it lost feeling. Hoping that by seeing them she would be able to copy them, the young girl pictured the seals as she had seen her parents doing them. Of course, they usually went almost too fast for her to follow. But the key word was 'almost'. After having the pictures firmly in her mind, she began gathering chakra. This time, her rowdy chakra decided to behave. With a deep breath to calm herself, she launched into the handseals. Success! She grinned triumphantly. "One more! I've only got one more to go!"

Sumire squirmed uncomfortably in the grass. She wanted to move. She was itching to get up and do something. But she knew that she had to finish her training. Otherwise, she'd never be ready for the exams. She sighed, her sweet blue eyes rolling towards the sky. She didn't like sitting still. But she would. She tried to get a fix on the handseals as she gathered her chakra up. But apparently her chakra was itching to move as much as she was. It didn't cooperate, avoiding her attempts to focus it. She sighed violently, crossing her arms. One more time! That's all she had to do!

Mad about her last failure, Sumire jumped to her feet unable to stand being motionless any longer. "Ok!" she attempted to give herself a pep talk. "You've just got one more time to go before you can move onto something else! Now...let's get this down! Then...we'll go do something more fun! Like learn the Open Palm from the Kusakage!" Nodding firmly, she held her hands lightly in front of her. She could feel her chakra gathering to her will. Satisfied with that end of things, she breathed slowly and with purpose. She began the handseals. Her fingers flew as she went through all of the proper steps. All four of them were simple to perform. But at the correct speed and shoved together, it was a different story. Still, Sumire performed brilliantly, nailing all four seals. Her eyes widened. "Woo-hoo! I'm done with training!" She did her happy dance again. "Yus! On to part two!"

Still wound up, Sumire couldn't wait to begin the final exercise of the Bunshin training. If she remembered correctly, she'd basically be burning out her chakra on purpose. She was supposed to make as many clones as she possibly could. Hm. No problem! With so much practice on the seals, that part was a breeze. Now she just had to follow through with it. Her hands flying through the seals, Sumire concentrated on making replicas of herself. Feeling the rush as the chakra left, Sumire saw two clones pop into existance. She grinned even as she sank to the ground. Two clones! Two clones wasn't bad! Especially for an Academy Student. Her chakra levels were abysmal, she knew. But for now, she had created two clones!

Part II
The second part of the training would be to create the actual clones by using the hand seals. To successfully create a clone, the student would have to have a total of 5. At every incriment of 5, the student would make a clone.
5 = 1 clone (-1cp)
10 = 2 clones (-2cp)
15 = 3 clones (-3cp)
20 = 4 clones (-4cp)
If a student only has 3 CP then he cannot create 4 clones, even if his total is 20. Resting for one post will gain back +2Cp. The must successfully complete the jutsu 4 times, disregarding how many clones they create.

From past experience, Sumire knew that she'd have to rest for a bit to regain some chakra. Her body could only make so much at a time, and she had just drained the last of her reserves. So, she sat there, the itch to move completely vanished. Well, that was one thing she didn't have to worry about. The sun felt wonderful on her face as she rested. A quick glance over at Myobi and Tenmoki revealed that the situation hadn't yet been resolved. So she would bide her time and wait for her turn. She could be incredibly patient at times, believe it or not.

She dismissed the clones easily, eager to try again. She gathered her chakra properly and went through the handseals. But somewhere in between those steps and properly executing the Bunshin, she messed up. Badly. Nothing at all happened. She shook her head. "Rats! This is really hard!" She glanced around but there were still no clones. She sighed. She'd just have to do even better next time!

"Alright! This time, I'm gonna get it!" Sumire nodded firmly. Positioning herself just so, she began gathering her chakra again. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but Sumire was suspicious of easy success. She quickly began the handseals, her fingers flying through the proper motions. When all was said and done, Sumire was delighted to see two replicas of herself pop into existance. They both giggled and flashed her simultaneous victory signs. She squealed, offering them her own 'V'. "Whoot! Another success!"

Total Clones: 4 Myobi -- still holding back tears -- nodded glumly to the Kusakage. She was still a little depressed about not being able to do it correctly. She had worked so hard. And she really could do it! It was just a matter of proving it to the rest of the world. She glanced over at her cousin just in time to see the clones appear. She shook her head, smiling in spite of herself. "Three Sumires...now that is truly scary."

The Kage smiled a smile full of sympathy for the girl. Perhaps, she had made the clone a little too tough. "Its alright, Myobi," she said, patting the girl on the back and rubbing her shoulder gently. "You did a good job. I can tell you know the open palm inside and out. Don't worry about not making the hit. You can head home now and get some rest, love," Momakage said, letting go of the girl and letting her pass to get home.

Aya had pressured her mother into teaching the little girl another technique. This time, it was one that Aya truly favored. The Mizu bunshin no jutsu. Aya had always dreamed of learning a technique that dealt with water since she was so familiar with water. The instructions that Momakage had given her were still ringing in her head. She had to practice forming bodies with water. Standing by the little pond in the training grounds, Aya slowly tried to make the bodies by moving the water.

The water fell to the ground as Aya couldn't hold it. Water was heavy when trying to hold it in the form of her own body. Maybe she should work with something smaller, however that would mean she was kind of cheating herself out in training. Aya tried it again, pulling the water up from the pond and moving it over to the grass. She would start from the top and work her way down...Aya tried forming a head with the water...

The water spiked this way and that as Aya tried to mold it into a head. It wasn't working. Very well. Holding her heal to her face, Aya closed her eyes and concentrated harder. The water slowly began to form a circle, now she had to perfect it. The circle had to be the same size as her head and no bigger or smaller. "C'mon," Aya said, coaxing herself into getting it...

Opening her blue eyes to see what she had created, Aya smiled. The outcome was very nice. The girl dropped her arms, letting the water splash to the ground. Aya plopped down on her butt and took a deep breath. She didn't have much chakra in her, so she needed to rest a bit before getting up and trying again. Laying on her back, she looked up at the clouds. "They're pretty today," she said.
