Sukutu raised one of his eyebrows at the fennec fox and then wrinkled back his snout, his pale eye's illuminated by the small rays of sun that were just narrowly starting to rise over the horizon.
"What are you doing up so early fox?" He asked in his usual 'rude tell me or else' tone of voice as he looked at the small creature, his ears flattening against his head.

Yakuti stiffened more, taking a step back eyes narrowing on him. "I-I've been up for awhile." her large nocturnal eyes squinted the more the sun came up.. her mind travled back to the peaceful days before the cub came.. before the cub wandered out of the den in the mid of day and got her in all of this.
Back when her life was dull..
Still now there was a rather large lion infront of her, though it wasn't as large as the others.. compared to her it was still enough to eat her.
Wokovu was positioned infront of mwali, having shoved himself under one of the lions paws to keep warm. his ears flatted as the older lion let out a massive yawn letting out a "ugh" to the morning breath that came with it and covering his small sensitive nose with a paw and opening his eyes sleepily.

Sukutu's snout wrinkled back more and he rolled his pale eye's slightly, lowering her head so that the fringe of fur on his head fell over his left eye.
"Whatever..." He then stepped over her, his tail twitching from side to side as she actualy walked past her, not making an effort to harm her in any way as he just walked out onto theplains of the savvanah.

Taka snorted, readying herself for a nice sprint after a gazelle again. Thankyfully, this one was much younger and wouldn't put up much of a fight. The felines' emerald gaze flickered for an instant, a spark of excitement jumping in her eyes. She was off in a clout of dust, her form nothing but a blur on the plains as the poor gazelle ran for it's life, surprised and frightened. It was only a matter of seconds before the 'zelle tripped and Taka had it in her clutches. Jaws wrapped tightly around the gazelle throat, Taka let out another triumphant snort and started to dash back.
Taka slowed as she caught sight of Yaku, a small smile coming to her face. It soon vanished as she spied to little lion in front of her. Growling low, wondering if the cub had threatened the fox, Taka walked up slowly to her side, watching as the cub departed. Taka gave a loud rumbling growl at the fox's side, hoping the cub would here it.
"You okay Yaku?"

Yakuti twitched a bit, fur still standing on end as she tried to bring it down alittle, ears flicking a bit as the cub left. She brought her paw to her muzzle, giving a few random licks to try to rid the tingling feeling that came with her fuzzy look.
She gave a light nod smiling up at the cheetah "Yes, fine. I see your having breakfast allready?" her nose wrinkled looking at the dead animal taka had been dragging.. It wasn't really her taste.. smelled funny too. But thats probably what Taka thought of the bugs she ate, so she kept her jaw shut.

As the young lion walked of, a small ball of orange fur left the cave aswell, a little fennec fox cub about half the size of a lion cub waslked out and yawned loudly.
Her emerald green eye's looked aorund before she smiled at the sight of another Fox...and a cheetah.
She walked up cautiously and smiled.
"Hi I'm Taku...who are you???"

Jasiri awoke with a loud yawn to find that the others were already awake and gone. She was tempted to lay back down in the warm sun, her eyelids still heavy with sleep. She stood up, streaching, and she shook the sleep away. She took a chunck of the meat she had left there the night before, and chewed on it slowly. She started walking, not really having any destionation. Her head was down, staring at the ground, when she suddeny ran into the juvenile lion. She looked at him, not realy caring much about it. She was in a strange mood, and didnt feel like saying much to this lion. She looked down at herself, noticing how much she had grown. She was no longer a little cub like she had been when she first met Taka and Teule, but a sleek slender young lioness. The boys had grown too, she had also failed to notice there slight changes. She finnaly looked up at this lion, and there eyes met. She didnt like the vibe she was getting, his eyes seemed cold. She looked away, toward the horizon, and finnaly spoke. "Hello."

Sukutu's ear's flattened back as he looked at yet another interupting person, he then tilted his head, his pale purple eye's looking angry into the deep purple eye's of this new person, before they took a better look at the sleek brown juvenille female that stood infront of him.
"Look what do you-....want?...." His voice became more softer by the end of the sentence, as his eye's scaned her.
His ear's perked up on his head as he looked at her before he tilted his head to the side, he took a moment before he snapped back to reality and cleared his throat, his original harsh voice coming back to his throat.
"Uhh uhmmm hey...what are you doing up so early female?" He spoek like she was inferior, siting down infront of her as his tail twitched un easily, something about her made him seem, nervous, not in a bad way, but a good way, and that just made him more eager to leave.

Yakuti blinked, another fox? here? her eyes narrowed at the small fox.. "Why arn't you in your den, little one?" she questioned, head lowering to be more face to face with the younger fennec..
She paused a bit, wondering where the fox's mother was.. "Yakuti." she responded, she sounded alot more calm talking to one of her own species. Head tilting slightly to the left as she inspected the kit.

Taku's big green eye's looked at her and her ear's drooped slightly as she looked down sadly, one of her small paws pawing at the ground as she spoke in a small, scared tone of voice.
"I...I don't have a den....it was destroyed when the Firekin killed my family..."
She then looked up at the adult, tears watering in her small eyes as her big ears flattened against her head.

She blinked, ears folding back against her head when the kit looked like it was about to cry.. She paused a moment, cocking her head to the side and smiling a bit "no worries.. I don't have a den either." she nuzzled the kit attempting to be reassuring.
Ironically Yakuti's story was just the oposite, though she didn't know for sure if Wokovu had the blood fo the firekin in him.. he still managed to bring family into her life. And Mwali was definatly firekin, he had an important play in making her family what it was as well..
"I had to give mine up when I adopted a lion cub." she almost chuckled a bit, looking to the nearby cub still moaning about mwali's morning breath.

The small kit looked up at her before she nuzzled deeply into the chest fur of the adult, her small tail wrapping around fer front paws as she comforted herself softly, listening to the adult as she did.
Her ear's then perked up as she heard the word lion cub and she looked up at her, smiling softly.
"Really? well...where is she-or....he?"

A small smile lit her face as the kit cuddled up against her, it kicked in her maturnal instincts making her light up at the sight of a child.. smaller than herself. Wokovu had long outgrown her..
She paused, not sure if the sight of mwali would upset the kit.. "He's right over there, next to the.. firekin..but no worries. His name is mwali, and he wouldn't hurt a fly.. i've been travling with him for some time now." she reassured before the kit could become fearful.
"His name is Wokovu, he's the tan one with the white markings." she beamed a bit, in a motherly sort of way.

Taku's pupils became small as she heard the word 'Firekin' and she looked in the direction the adult was looking, pining and whimpering fearfully as she saw the huge red lion and flattening ehr ear's agaisnt her head.
She then listened to the older female and gulkped before she took a smaller step closer to finally spot the tan one, looking at how the cubs all cuddled into the so called 'Mwali' made her feel less threatened.

Jasiri's ears suddenly perked up slightly, her eyes becomeing brighter. No one had ever really talked to her like that, so royaly. Maybe he wasnt as bad as she had judged. She sat herself down near him, her paws flexing themselves in the warm sand. " I was thinking of getting an early meal. Care to join me in the hunt?" She wasnt sure if this male would respond much to her invitation, but he seemed capible of hunting himself, and she was hungry. She knew Taka would probally have something waiting, but the thought of hunting almost by herself made her proudly puff her chest out. Her violet eyes glimmerd in the early morning sun, and her dark chocolate coat shone brightly against the cream colored sand. She glanced back at the male, noticing his eyes. Violet eyes...
