That's just what I think he should be like, a Grey Knight Hero (Like Stern) is meant to fight the bigger and more dangerous Daemon, like Greater Daemons. Who are usually having a Toughness of Five or more, but then again, his Force Weapon does bring him up to a Strength Six rather than five, so maybe it'd be a little overkill to give him five strength. But we can hope eh?

Yea, I think they'd bump the points to about 160 with Str5, with his NFW thats Str7, wounding greater daemons on 3's, which is quite an amusing prospect.

Don't forget that the built-in psychic powers will be ramped up.

Ah yea, I think they'll keep the majority of them, but maybe add something like Smite to their list.

Lt. Brookman Don't forget that the built-in psychic powers will be ramped up. WTB: Minor Power: Daemons Fail power. Wipe out every Daemon on the board for no real reason at all, regardless of any special rules, wounds or types of save.

Well, not that overpowered, but hero-hammer requires powerful psykers leading armies.

Either they'll be kicked out or brought up to the same level as Guard storm troopers. Highly unlikely though seeing as they cost 16 points a pop which is the same cost as a melon-fething Astartes.

Seraphim Ashbane Plus he doesn’t have a Force Weapon where as the Grand Master does (Yet most units in the game are immune to Instant Death now >: ) Forgot to address this; you do know that Daemonhunters Force Weapons still bypass Eternal Warrior and other forms of Immunity to ID, right? The Rulebook points out that if there is a discrepancy in rule between a codex rule and a BGB rule with the same name, that the codex rule takes precedence. Which means DH Force Weapons still 'slay outright, regardless of number of wounds' rather than invoke Instant Death.

I know that, but in Codex: Inquisition I guessed that it will not 'Slay Outright' anymore, so his Force Weapon will not be all that amazing. There was another item in the Daemonhunter Armoury that is still allot better due to the somewhat 'out of date' Codex, although I don't remember what it is.

Considering I don't expect an update on the Inquisition til 2010 or 2011, it certainly matters for games in the here and now.

It's probably Sanctuary. It's a power designed prior to there being a whole codex of Daemons. In objective missions, the power is pretty much an autowin button vs. Daemons. Just plonk your Inq on one objective and your GK hero on the other, have them both pop Sanc, and Daemons are pushed off the objective, can't see them to shoot at them, and can't move into 3" to contest.
